My five ghostly husbands-Chapter 198 Jepsi
Chapter 198: Chapter 198 Jepsi
Ruby chuckled. "Exactly. The moment people think something is limited, they crave it more. They won’t even question the price. And once the hype spreads, we’ll slowly bring out the remaining stock, increasing the demand even more."
Rowan and Elias sat there, stunned.
Finally, Elias let out a low whistle. "Miss Ruby... if you ever become a full-time merchant, the entire industry will suffer under your genius."
Ruby just smirked. "Oh, I don’t plan on stopping here."
Because once she successfully sold out her stock at the Diamond Moon Festival—
Her brand would be unstoppable.

4 Days Before the Diamond Moon Festival
"What’s the number on the receipt slip?" Ruby asked, glancing around the vast fairgrounds.
The Diamond Moon Festival was being set up at the same location where the land car races took place, on the other side of the old bridge.
"Number 89," Angeline responded as an expressionless witch guided them to their assigned area.
Ruby’s spot was at the corner.
It was a big area, with a breathtaking backdrop —a canyon of towering mountains stretching behind her.
Even though it was a corner spot, it wasn’t isolated, many other stalls were already set up, with merchants rushing to decorate and prepare their stores.
Ruby observed the competition. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Some merchants had small wooden stalls, decorated with hanging lanterns and banners.
Others had larger, luxurious shops made from a removable glass-like material, making them look sleek and expensive.
But Ruby smirked.
She wasn’t going to make just any ordinary shop.
She had something unique in mind.
Angeline noticed her thoughtful expression and asked, "What kind of shop do you want to make, Ru?"
She waved at Uncle Otis, who was waiting near the bridge with his wagon full of supplies.
"Don’t worry. I’ll tell you exactly what to do," Ruby said, her red eyes glinting.
Uncle Otis arrived, and Ruby and Angeline quickly unloaded everything Ruby had prepared.
Ruby had also bought extra materials from the market with the payment she earned from editing scenes on set.
The set had been filming in her village, so she didn’t have to travel far. The location was only 4km away from home, though the 50-minute walk back and forth had exhausted her.
Even Director Sylvia and Vera felt bad for her.
But Ruby simply shook off their concern.
She wasn’t here to make friends.
A professional work relationship was all she needed. Nothing more.
After unloading, Ruby paid Uncle Otis, and he left.
Now, it was time to build.
Ruby marked the ground using stick logs.
"Dig here, Angel," she instructed, pointing to the outline.
Angeline, dragging her words, sighed. "Okaaayyy," and picked up a shovel to start digging.
Meanwhile, Ruby gathered her materials—thick, heavy wooden logs, much stronger than the lightweight wood used in other stalls.
Unlike most of the typical wooden shops, Ruby had a different plan.
Her shop wouldn’t just be a basic wooden stall.
She was going to elevate it literally.
Ruby and Angeline worked tirelessly from morning until evening.
Since Angeline had the day off, she stayed to help, making the workload easier.
By the time the sun began to set, most of the hard labor was done.
The base, flooring, and walls were in place.
Now, only the decorations remained, and Ruby planned to handle that tomorrow.
Even though she had used wood for the walls, she had unique ideas to make them stand out. Everything was already prepared.
Finally, when they were done for the day, both of them sat down on the shop floor, breathing heavily.
Angeline took a sip of water from her bottle, then handed it to Ruby.
Ruby took it gladly, drinking deeply.
Just as they were catching their breath, a voice interrupted them.
"Hey."
Ruby and Angeline looked up to see a group of witches approaching.
The witch in front, clearly their leader, had a look of contempt in her eyes.
But her expression remained polite, even friendly.
"What shop are you setting up here?" she asked, crossing her arms.
Ruby leaned back on her palms, completely unfazed.
"Clothes," she answered casually.
"Oh, really? Same here!" the witch said with a fake bright smile, pointing toward the biggest and most luxurious shop in the area. "That one’s mine."
Ruby’s eyes briefly flicked toward it.
It was made of infused glass, sleek and expensive-looking, with large banners and visible sales signs that screamed prestige.
Compared to it, Ruby’s shop looked small and simple.
But Ruby didn’t care.
The witch, smirking slightly, continued, "I sell clothes too. I’m the owner—my name is Jepsi! And this is my designer... and this is my tailor... and this is my accountant..."
She dragged out the introductions, making sure Ruby and Angeline knew just how big her team was.
It was a clear show-off.
A way to say "Look how big my business is compared to yours."
Ruby simply nodded, her expression completely uninterested.
"Alright."
She wasn’t bothered.
She could clearly see the contempt in Jepsi’s eyes, but she had no interest in dealing with her.
However, Angeline wasn’t as calm.
She could feel the insult behind Jepsi’s words.
The witch was clearly trying to make them feel small.
So, with a sweet but fake smile, Angeline tilted her head and said—
"That’s great! But my Ru is alone and still does everything perfectly, right?"
Jepsi’s smirk faltered slightly.
Ruby held back a chuckle.
Angeline might be playing nice, but her words were just as sharp.
"You can’t possibly do everything alone! That’s impossible! Hahaha!" Jepsi laughed, tossing her hair back dramatically.
Her group of witches giggled along with her, clearly enjoying the moment.
"I already have many regular customers. I don’t have to worry about some random seller snatching them away, right?"
Her voice dripped with mockery, as if she was reassuring herself rather than them.
Then, with a fake curious smile, she finally asked—
"Oh, by the way, what are your names?"
Ruby, completely unfazed, replied in a calm, uninterested tone.
"Ruby."
Angeline, her smile still fake but sharper now, added—
"Angeline."
Jepsi nodded, clearly thinking nothing of them.
But Angeline stole a glance at Ruby.
Ruby wasn’t angry.
She wasn’t bothered.
She was just watching Jepsi quietly, a small smile tugging at her lips.
