My Joker System: From Low Mana Trash to the Mightiest Wizard!-Chapter 159: Chaosbringers Coven
Chapter 159: Chaosbringers Coven
"A little," Hal responded. "I can at least obtain a few superior and mastercraft grade artifacts from him.
Vyse fell silent once more, pondering...
That could work.
Joining a student union for a year was mandatory for graduation.
Furthermore, they didn’t need to pull in the aristocrats, only the decently talented ones among the commoners.
Those guys would certainly be willing to work for a Joker brand artifact, especially since they didn’t have the money to purchase one.
The darned things weren’t even for sale yet.
A rare-tier spell book, along with a few uncommon ones, would also be worth the grind.
"That would probably work," the sophomore said with a smile, "but you’ll have to gradually add things to the redeemable rewards and refill the redeemed ones, or people will lose interest in the union requests once the juicy ones are gone..."
"Leave it to me." Hal nodded.
Of course, those were only the starter rewards.
He would add better ones later, after selling his artifacts to Wanzin’s Arcane Emporium.
Hal couldn’t help but feel excited.
Wasn’t this turning into a great business plan for him?
His subordinates would gather crafting materials in exchange for union contribution points, which they could then use to claim their desired rewards.
All Hal needed to do was continue crafting the much-yearned-for Joker Artifacts, sell them to the emporium to earn a lot of money, and invest part of it into more redeemable rewards to keep the materials flowing.
With this strategy, the 500 artifacts would be completed in no time!
Vyse noticed the faint, confident smile on Hal’s face.
’Hoh, let’s see how good of a leader you are,’ the sophomore mused.
"Shall we establish the union, then?"

Hal and Vyse walking together, with the former slightly in front, naturally drew admiring and curious gazes from other students.
Why were the two renowned individuals together?
It was then that the bet between the two of them in the Arcana Primis Cup began spreading like wildfire.
Meanwhile, Vyse’s subordinates steadily joined them along the way, resulting in an impressive cohort of eight people with Hal at the forefront.
A few curious coreys followed them from a distance, gasping upon realizing they were headed to the Union Office.
It wouldn’t be long before rumors of Hal Fennec and Vyse Vandralis establishing a student union would reach the ears of a majority of the students.
Paying an upfront fee of thirty silver coins for a medium-sized chamber, the Chaosbringers Coven was formed, with Hal Fennec as the president and Vyse as his deputy.
The two leaders and their six subordinates immediately headed to the Union Chamber to assess its spaciousness after the registration process.
If it was lacking, Hal would unhesitatingly upgrade it to a large one for an additional twenty silver coins.
They arrived a few moments later, nodding in satisfaction at the finely made stone walls and the clean, simple interior, which had clearly been well maintained.
The partition that could be used as storage for the union’s exchange room was, unfortunately, quite small.
Hal was planning to use the union to start his artifact business, so he couldn’t be too stingy.
Vyse and his underlings, on the other hand, were already quite satisfied with the room, believing it was a more-than-decent starter chamber.
They were taken aback when Hal said they would rent a larger one.
Excitement soon followed, however, as they realized the freshman before them seemed to be quite serious, unlike Vyse, and most of all, extremely capable and confident.
Perhaps their union would stand at the top before they graduated and remain there even after they did.
Unbeknownst to them, this was the start of one of the greatest partnerships between the Grand Magic Academy and a private company, one that allowed students to experience the real world at a tender age, better preparing them for the future and opening up a new career path for combat wizards.
Come mid-morning, Hal gave orders to his underlings.
A few of them went to purchase furniture, others went to order a large request board and a rewards display shelf.
The most artistic one, who also happened to be the young man Hal hadn’t known was tailing him in the Mission Hall, sat down and designed an insignia according to his requests, while some went to print recruitment posters and paste them all over the designated recruitment boards and academy walls.
Hal lost two gold coins that day, and he would lose more.
However, he didn’t care in the slightest, fully knowing he would get such investment back with just a few artifacts.
Hal ordered Vyse to utilize his connections and hire two commoners who can read and write.
One shall be in charge of the member registration, while the other shall be responsible for the rewards room.
A rich commoner like Vyse should know some trustworthy people.
’Phew...establishing a student union sure is a lot of work, huh...’ Hal mused as he wiped his sweaty face with a towel.
"Boss Hal, please check if this design is to your taste," suddenly called the artistic underling, Peron, snapping him out of his thoughts.
Examining the vermilion sphere with a silvery aura, a Chaos Arcane Link that even the designer didn’t understand in the middle, and a jester hat resting on the upper part, Hal nodded in satisfaction.
It was a simple yet meaningful insignia.
He then instructed Peron to head out and commission a finely made banner for it.
Soon, Hal himself left the now-empty Union Chamber, leaving a note that he was out to prepare the redeemable rewards.
Heading to Wanzin’s Arcane Emporium, he parked his motorcycle, removed his helmet, and respectfully requested to see the manager.
The staff member naturally recognized him and immediately went to inform her manager, Maximus, granting Hal entry through the back door a minute later.
"Well, it’s nice to see you again, Sir Hal," laughed the manager. "I certainly didn’t expect I was talking to the Arcana Primis Cup champion back then."
"Hahaha, well, I didn’t expect it either," Hal chuckled humbly in return.
"So, what brings you here this time? Selling us some crafting materials again?" asked Maximus. frёewebηovel.cѳm
Hal didn’t immediately reply, grinning for a moment before responding,
"No, something way better."
