My Life In A Fantasy, Women-Dominated World-Chapter 56: There Are No Rules
Intense eye-contact.
One of the few things that can make even the strongest man falter, especially when his strong and sexy lover is staring into his eyes with rage.
That was my condition, as Claire was staring at me in rage.
I had eaten her out, which made her orgasm one last time before her lusty haze slightly cleared up.
Now she was no longer working on a single brain cell that only needed sex, she was now back to her normal and dangerous self.
For the last 30 seconds or so, we have been holding the eye-contact, without a single exchange of words.
30 seconds might sound short to some people, but one shouldn’t forget that it was the entire duration of my only skill!
For an eye-contact, 30 seconds was a duration that was only achieved in the high stakes games of ’who blinks first loses’.
But we were playing no such game.
Claire was looking at me in fury, and I didn’t want to go back to appearing like a wuss after I finally achieved some respect in her eyes.
Thus, the eye-contact was held.
But finally Claire blinked, before sighing deeply.
"Did you activate your skill intentionally, knowing that it will enhance all the pain in my body? Do you have any idea how much pain I had to tolerate in those 30 seconds?" she said with a small shiver, proving that she meant what she said.
"NO!" I shook my head furiously, even if she really was a masochist or enjoyed pain, I would never put her in such agony intentionally.
"I really didn’t realize that the skill would cause your pain to enhance too. I just wanted to enhance your sensitivity."
Claire sighed once again, this time lower and filled with exasperation.
"Now you know why I call you underprepared for labyrinths and fights. You don’t even understand the full extent of your single skill, and you want me to believe that you can fight effectively after you get many more?
Especially when those skills may be much more complicated than your current skill?" She berated with pure seriousness.
She didn’t seem bothered that she was still naked, nor that I was naked.
I looked at her speechlessly in a response. What could I say?
Anything I said would simply be an excuse and make me look even worse. There is nothing worse than defending a mistake when you know you’re wrong.
It would’ve been okay to defend if Claire was a stranger pointing out my mistakes to put me down, but she wasn’t.
She was pointing them out not just because it hurted her, but also because it was my flaw. A mistake I should never repeat in my life if I want to become stronger like I hoped to.
Thus, I offered her no excuses, nodding at her words and promising her, "I will not do it again. I am really sorry, Claire. It wasn’t my intention to hurt yo–"
"Claire?" She cut in with an edge in her tone, each syllable of her name was spoken with the intent to kill.
"Are you referring to me as... Claire?" she asked with eyes narrowed, "What am I? Your boss?"
A chuckle escaped from my lips, "Love. Happy? Or should I call you baby?"
Claire rolled her eyes with a faint scoff, "Love works."
"Okay then, I am sorry, love." I chuckled back.
She huffed, "It’s fine. Don’t do it again."
After the warning, Claire laid her head back onto the mattress, staring up at the ceiling as her breasts moved with each of her breath.
Her sweat had already dried out by now, and I could feel a shiver in my body as the temperature of the room got to me.
She probably wasn’t affected by the chill, but it was cold enough for me.
So increasing the temperature by a few degrees, I laid back on the bed beside her.
I extended an arm towards her, and smiling at the gesture, she raised her head and rested it on my shoulder.
Everything felt peaceful and calm, as if there were no problems anymore that I needed to tackle.
My mind worked at a fast speed, organizing my thoughts and ranking them in a small priority list.
Post nut clarity simply rocks, I closed my eyes and then opened them again after a couple seconds.
Claire’s eyes were closed and breaths calm, as if she was at the zenith of peace.
"Awake?" I asked in a low voice, not wanting to wake her up in case she was asleep.
"Mmhm," she hummed back. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"I want to come with you on the mission."
This was the first task on my list, something that both worried and excited me.
I knew it was no playground and I can really die, but most monsters there were much higher level and I can shoot up in levels much easier.
Repeating the labyrinths was a very slow method of leveling up, unless you take risks and climb floors.
But climbing floors in labyrinths is also risky, no? Then if both are supposed to be risky, then why not take the faster approach?
This was what I reasoned to Claire, at least.
"First off, no." She said simply, her eyes settling onto mine without any hint of amusement or mischief.
She was as serious as seriousness could get.
"You are not coming to it, and it’s not even confirmed if we are going in the first place. But even if we go, you are not. End of discussion."
I shook my head, throwing my reasoning of labyrinths being dangerous too, but Claire cut me off.
"Don’t give me that bullshit reasoning, love." She scoffed, "First of all, our labyrinth is tier 3, while the mission is of tier 2. There is simply no comparison.
And even if I were to ignore that, labyrinths run on a strict rule, at least somewhat. You won’t see a level 50 monster on the fucking first floor, but on the field...?"
Her eyes narrowed, voice getting darker.
"There are no rules."
