My Life In A Fantasy, Women-Dominated World-Chapter 91: Descending Order
Aaron vividly remembered the time when he was in this same building, standing next to Mrs. Clint for the detention.
Her scent was addictive, the kind that can generate impure thoughts even in a sage.
But now... it felt worse.
She was standing so far away, but he still felt the same, the impure thoughts... the lust.
And this time, he knew that it wasn’t just biology doing its thing. It was different.
With high magic came high magical perception, and that was what allowed him to feel her.
No mere ’professor’ should have such a dense, strong presence. And especially one that passively emitted a strong scent.
Mrs Clint wasn’t there for any announcement, she was simply passing by when she suddenly stopped.
Just like Aaron was pulled to her, her eyes locked onto his.
Glasses were covering her eyes, not giving him a proper feel for her mood but he understood that if he wasn’t before, he was definitely under her radar now.
"Aaron!" Nancy shook him out his thoughts, as Aaron watched Mrs. Clint gaze in his direction for a few more moments before turning around and leaving as if nothing happened.
"Yeah." Aaron replied to Nancy absentmindedly, shaking off the thoughts before looking at her.
"What were you looking at? Let’s go, the bell has already rung." she grumbled, pushing him in the direction of the stairs but being unable to.
Aaron chuckled, making her pout become bigger.
He shelved his thoughts about Mrs Clint to the back of his head, climbing up the stairs alongside Nancy and her friends, heading for the first exam.
A lady was standing on the classroom’s door, lightly checking their pockets and asking if they brought something that could count into the UFM.
( UFM - Unfair Means )
Bags were kept on the entrance, phones and smartwatches filling the teacher’s desk as the students poured into the class.
Unfortunately, the seating was based on the roll numbers, thus separating Aaron and Nancy.
’That’s why I hate the names that start with A.’ Aaron thought saltily, grumbling under his breath while leaning on his palm and waiting for the papers to be distributed.
Five minutes passed by, students were all settled in and some teachers stood up, giving a question paper and answer sheets to each desk.
The end moment mana enhanced studies showed its magic, as Aaron actually understood many answers just by reading the questions.
He grinned widely, mentally counting the marks he could obtain if he answered the questions he knew.
The test was of 80 marks, and passing were around 35 out of hundred.
’I can get around 45, 40 just to be safe. Yep. Passing won’t be an issue.’ he thought with happiness filling his heart, he never was interested in studies, and simply passing felt enough for him.
He didn’t waste any more time and went straight to scribbling down the answers, intentionally making them wordier and more dense, even when it could’ve been summarized into two lines.
The teachers didn’t really seem to care much either, sitting on the platform and talking amongst themselves while sweeping their eyes over the class.
But suddenly, Aaron’s senses tingled and his nose twitched, catching a scent that he felt not too long ago.
His pen stopped scribbling, head rising as he looked at the door.
Being roll number 1, he was naturally sitting at the front seat, giving him a full HD view of the fine specimen that strolled into the class.
Heels clicking, confidence dripping and expression flat... it was Mrs Clint.
She didn’t seem to care about the students who were taken aback by her entry, her eyes casually sweeping over Aaron before settling on the teachers.
"The headmistress told me to watch over this class instead, can you ladies take your discussions elsewhere?" she said calmly, manners negligible in her flat tone.
The teachers weren’t pleased by her tone, but looking at the owner of the voice, they simply clicked their tongues and emptied their seats, not offering any further response.
Though, one of them paused to look at Mrs Clint, "Which class are we supposed to go to?"
"..." Mrs Clint looked at her with a smile, "Ask the headmistress."
When the class was ridden of the two talkative teachers, a pin drop silence was developed, the atmosphere became tight and uncomfortable.
"What? Focus on your exams. I will be checking the papers myself."
A single statement from Mrs Clint chilled the student’s hearts, knowing that she wasn’t merciful in the slightest.
However, Aaron couldn’t care less about the paper as his instincts rang like a police siren, hinting that something was very wrong with the woman.
His eyes were affixed on her beautiful curvy figure, the gorgeous face that seemed to be carved by the god personally, and those sharp lavender eyes that were hidden behind her glasses.
Just like he couldn’t take his eyes off her, Mrs Clint’s focus was also on him, eyes narrowing as she sensed his unnatural perception.
’Does he know something he shouldn’t? I don’t want this to get complicated. It was so hard to return to this mundane life...’ she thought to herself, not an ounce of warmth in her heart.
Time ticked by mercilessly, unfazed by the woes of the mortals as the last 5 minutes remained.
Aaron had already managed to answer all the questions he knew, and he was currently scribbling down random answers and knowledge he knew of, in hopes that he could get at least a couple marks for those.
His attention was still half focused on Mrs Clint, who no longer seemed interested in him.
"Okay, time’s up." Mrs Clint said suddenly, uncrossing her legs and getting up to her feet.
"Leave only after I have collected your paper." she added, walking to the leftmost row and climbing up as she snatched the paper from the last roll number’s hand.
He cried pitifully, asking for extra time but Mrs Clint didn’t care.
"Leave." Was all she said, walking to each desk and snatching papers in a descending order.
For others behind Aaron, they felt they were lucky to be picked last, but not him.
He only felt unsettled. Dread when he thought about the fact that by the time she reached him, the entire class would be empty...
