Chapter 2203: Chapter 735: Damn, Now I’m the Weakest One Here

"Evil Gods are often generous, but it’s this kind of ’generosity’ that causes their followers to fall into the abyss."

"Thank you for your encyclopedic lecture on heretical sects, Instructor Veylanther, but considering we’re currently pursuing a group of dangerous dark elects, could you please stop terrifying Bonnie and her subordinates?"

Murphy whispered softly.

Amid Veylanther’s strange laughter, he touched his forehead and said to the others:

"They’re right ahead! I can feel the unique Devouring Light Power of the Lord of Darkness engulfing my senses, there are quite a few of them, Gnolls, Ratmen, and Dwarfs... the Lord of Darkness certainly isn’t picky, quite the appetite.

Kill these guys.

We cannot let them carry the Lord of Darkness’s power out of Blackflame Mountain Pass, these things are utterly harmful until we’ve found the Shiny Artifact."

"Swish"

Bonnie and her subordinates immediately drew their weapons, and Veylanther also pulled out two newly-issued Melt Swords.

Though this thing is not as destructive as her original pair of Shadow Spider Combat Knives, it is a divine weapon bestowed by Master Murphy, naturally possessing exceptional commemorative significance. Moreover, the advantage of the Melt Sword is that it doesn’t bleed when it cuts people.

Sparing her from giving cute little players the weird goodwill task of helping her with laundry.

"Charge!"

At Murphy’s command, he and his vampire servants charged into the Dark Cave ahead.

It was the same as before when the Lord of Darkness’s power spread, not a trace of light, not even the orange glow of an activated Melt Sword could pierce the darkness, leaving Veylanther grimly watching his weapon’s energy deplete rapidly, flickering like a poor connection.

The power of the Lord of Darkness is indeed quite peculiar; it seems to operate based on the concept of darkness, causing any source of light in this realm to quickly extinguish.

But there is one light that it can never extinguish.

"Hmm..."

Amidst a low painful moan, a circle of pale light lit up around Murphy’s body.

The Purification Power Omega was as strong as always, illuminating the darkness while causing those attempting to strangle these intruders within the darkness and sacrifice them to the Lord of Darkness to emit terrified screams.

Their shapes were already cloaked in a layer of smoke-like "armor," obviously deeply altered by the power, which meant the Omega Program could inflict double damage on them!

The evil-must essential, also enveloped in a circle of white light, was buzzing. It hurt; this malevolent Demon Sword did not want to endure this pain alone. It eagerly wanted to share this stinging sensation with its enemies.

So it charged out at once, running a sword through the heart of a shouting Fallen Dwarf clutching its grayish eyes.

Hey!

Screaming loudly like that is really annoying, bastard!

This highly targeted destructive power brings great pleasure, the buzzing of the essential-must evil intensifying, repeatedly stabbing quickly scattering the gathered dark elects, and under the peculiar white glow surrounding Murphy, Bonnie and Veylanther joined in this "righteous" slaughter of evil.

These dark elects were indeed dangerous.

In the dark realm they initiated, their movement and attacks were silent and imperceptible, like ghosts in the night, defensive and impossible to guard against. Furthermore, as dark elects, their attacks, besides being enhanced with divine power as true damage, also came with life-devouring and spirit-polluting malign effects.

Such characteristics were troublesome even for the Midnight loved ones vampires.

But as always, Murphy had special combat strategies against Chaotic Power; these yet-to-mature dark elects could not stir much trouble before him.

With Omega purification power at the forefront, cleaning proceeded very smoothly, but as the last of the dark elects was slain and the dark curtain shrouding the entire tunnel shattered, Murphy quickly discovered something troubling.

Numerous footprints led ahead along this underground tunnel, which meant a batch of dark elects had left this gathering point before their arrival.

The tunnel dug by the Ratmen ran through the entire pass. In the worst-case scenario, some dark elects might have already escaped.

"Can you do a divination?"

Murphy recalled the essential-must evil and turned to Veylanther:

"I know it’s difficult, but please understand my current mood, we have enough trouble already, it’s best not to let these dark elects create more chaos, especially since we’ve already made enemies with the Lord of Darkness."

"The concept power of the Lord of Darkness will obviously interfere with the divination results."

Veylanther responded with some difficulty:

"I’ll try to calculate the direction of their escape as much as possible, but frankly, Master, even if they manage to rush out of the ruins, they’ll have to pass through the area most heavily infested with Corrupt Energy. In their current mental state, they simply can’t withstand such a wash, even if they escape, they’ll turn into a bunch of lunatics and madmen yelling the name of the Evil God."

"Hmm, so you think letting a bunch of lunatics and madmen with dark divine power roam freely in the current Dark Mountain Range is a good idea?"

Murphy said with a stern face:

"You also come from the depths of the Dark Mountain Range, Veylanther, are you not afraid of them bringing that dangerous Devouring Light Power into the Eternal Abyss?"
