My Scheming Little Devil-Chapter 42 Too Unlucky_1
"I want you, not the vine..."
But the man arrogantly dodged her touch, slowly stood up, and spoke mercilessly.
"You’re too dirty, I have no interest in you."
The woman was completely stunned, looking at him incredulously, unable to believe that he had been such gentle earlier but now so cold.
The man threw away the vine flower he was holding, pulled out an elegant handkerchief, slowly cleaned his hand, and casually tossed it to the ground.
What a bizarre turn of events, Ye Lu, who was squatting not far away, was also at a loss.
She just felt that the man’s intentions towards the woman were not simple. He seems to have achieved his purpose and left the scene.
She wanted to leave but didn’t dare to. She was afraid that any movement would attract the man’s attention.
She could only wait in fear for the man to leave so she could leave too.
The man did leave very soon. But before he left, his gaze made Ye Lu tremble with fear.
His demonic, wicked eyes looking right through the layers of vine flowers directly at her.
At the moment their gazes met, it was as though her soul was being violently invaded.
Ye Lu started trembling all over, almost screaming out loud, desperately covering her own mouth.
It was that man! That terrifying man standing at the stairway entrance! He had been aware that she was secretly hiding here witnessing everything without making a sound and allowing her to watch. What was he planning?
Finding her terror amusing, the corners of the man’s lips curled into a smirk, extremely captivating yet eerily attractive.
The moonlight shone on his face, highlighting his deep, intricate features brimming with a masculine charm. His face was wicked, yet inexplicably dominating, that exactly handsome type that would make women scream.
What was the most attention-grabbing were his mysteriously alluring eyes.
Deep black eyes, reflecting the fragmented light, fathomless and inscrutable, held an intense invasiveness that stirred fear.
"Ah..." she screamed, falling over.
Before she knew it, he, moving like a ghost, had closed in on her. His strong, tall body had her trapped tightly against the vines, rendering her breathless. As she looked at his face looming over, she was too terrified to speak a word.
Seemingly satisfied with her reaction, he leaned down, bit her trembling earlobe threateningly and chuckled, "Dare to blab, I will kill you!"

Ye Lu didn’t know how she had managed to make it back from the vineyard. She was just drenched in a cold sweat, her heart pounding.
My God, she felt like she had just run away from a ghost, like escaping back from hell itself.
Seeing the lights from the villa felt like a beacon of salvation, and she ran into it without caring for the puzzled looks of the guests in the banquet hall, stumbling straight to Shang Jingchen among the crowd.
Clutching his arm tightly, the wild beating of her heart finally slowed to some degree.
Shang Jingchen was stern faced, "You’re running around so clumsily, don’t you know any banquet etiquette? Let go!"
This woman just put him through some drama, now what’s she planning?
Can’t be peaceful even for a moment.
Seeing Shang Jingchen’s cold expression, she was way too terrified to think. She felt that only he could protect her and so she rushed to him.
Just like that time at the bar, when she was almost hit by others, he had protected her.
Now, it was an automatic response.
But she had forgotten that he only saw her as a trading object.
She bit her lip, silently let go of his hand. Recalling the terrifying man from earlier, her face still held on to the residual fright, looking so pitifully helpless.
The crowd once again surrounded Shang Jingchen.
Shang Jingchen glanced back coldly, noticing her standing on the outside of the crowd, looking like a pitiful little rabbit that had been abandoned, his frown deepened.
