They hadn’t walked for five minutes when they came across another dozen wolves growling at them.

"Ah c’mon!" Alex shouted as he gripped his sword tighter while taking a stance.

"Let me handle this." Jake said as he stepped forward and then turned to his system.

"Cloning!" Jake called out and right in front of their eyes, a huge puff of smoke appeared all around them.

"What are you doing?" Alex asked.

"Dealing with the mess." Jake replied and right in front of their eyes, the puffs of smokes began forming shapes and not any shape, but human shapes.

Within three seconds, it was finally done and both Alex and Jake were both looking around with stars in their eyes as there wasn’t only one Jake anymore, there were now six of them.

Looking at them, there was no way to distinguish who was the real one or not as all of them all looked the same and they were currently holding onto the same weapon with the same expression on all their faces.

"Jake…!" Alex called out and all the Jakes turned around to look at Alex.

"Alright, this is creepy." He said.

The real Jake then turned towards the clones and back to the wolves that looked almost confused also but they were still growling.

"All of you listen up! I want you to attack those beasts but don’t kill them, injure them but still keep them alive!" He ordered and all the Jakes nodded in response.

Right on cue, the wolves didn’t wait as they all dashed towards the humans in front of them. Swiftly, the real Jake quickly grabbed Alex and moved back so he could observe what was going on.

Immediately the clones saw the wolves coming, all at the same time they performed step shift getting away from the fangs heading towards them.

But their step shift only took them one metre away but it was still enough as the wolves halted their advances abruptly when three of the Jakes lifted their hands at once.

Looking at the wolves, they shot out Qi projectiles at the same time that crashed into the beast’s only causing shallow injuries but they didn’t relent as they kept on bombarding the wolves with Qi projectiles causing small explosions that threw up dust everywhere.

That was when the remaining two Jakes took a stance like as if they were about to run and then nodding at the other clones, they stopped bombarding the beasts with Qi projectiles.

But before the dust settled, they both dashed into it quickly but not as fast as the real Jake but they were still fast enough for some people to avoid.

One of the Jake swung his sword at a wolf and it slightly grazed it before he moved on to another wolf stabbing it with his sword that went just an inch deep.

That was when a wolf quickly lunged towards the Jake and caught him in its fangs that sunk deep into its neck causing it to go away in a puff of smoke like it was created.

Before the wolf could move, it felt a sting in its neck before its eyes went blood shot red and then it collapsed on the ground with a thud.

The real Jake who was watching everything unfold was impressed by what he was seeing.

"I see, with the slightest hit, they get killed and they go up in a puff of smoke. The good side of this is that they have good coordination among them." Jake mumbled while Alex watched on in amazement as out of twelve beasts, nine were left.

From where they stood, Jake could see that they were incredibly close to the castle as it was only a metre away from them and he couldn’t wait to get things done with here so he could explore the castle and what lay there.

Immediately the third beast fell, the remaining four clones quickly flipped backwards so they could regroup while staring at the wolves that were slowly rounding the place.

And like a flash, the wolves all darted towards the clones with incredibly speed as they tried to chomp on them with their fangs but one of the clones was quick to use Step Shift to get away then he used Shadow Step to get close and then stabbed it in its stomach.

Another beast swiped its paw at one of the clone and he was slow to react as the paw crashed into its head killing it and causing it go up in smoke.

"Two down, three remaining." Jake mumbled as he looked on.

The remaining clones seeing this all nodded together and as if their minds were linked, they waited for the beasts to get close which they did as all remaining eight wolves quickly lunged at them.

Seeing this, they quickly used Step shift to get away from them. Then they lifted their swords at once in sync above their heads while infusing it with the little Qi they had as they could see it was glowing slightly.

"So they can use this huh!" Jake smiled seeing what the clones were doing.

The wolves halted their advances while looking around for the humans and when they spotted them a metre away, they quickly lunged at them again but it was too late.

The clones had swung their swords at once at the wolves and a small slash half the size Jake usually produced came out of each their swords at once and then conjoined together before it sped towards the beasts at tremendous speed that they couldn’t avoid it.

And then it hit them hard slicing part of their limbs apart but not killing them as they could be seen whimpering around.

"Phew! For a second there, I thought they were about to use poisonous Qi Slash but luckily they only did the normal Qi slash." Jake said and then he quickly ran out into the field with full speed and quickly got in front of the beasts.

"Control!" Jake quickly shouted and immediately the beasts’ eyes all glowed blue before they dimmed back and they stopped moving.

"Void!" He called out again and the beasts all disappeared from view.

"That was close!" Jake heaved a sigh of relief and then he could see Alex walking towards him with a confused expression.

"Okay, I can’t take this anymore. What is going on Jake?" He asked.

"Fine!" Jake sighed and then opened his mouth to say something then he quickly closed it back up as they could both feel and hear a loud rumbling beneath their feet and all around them.

"What’s going on?" Alex wondered as they were losing their footing as it felt like an earthquake was occuring.

"GRHHHHH!" A loud roar was heard behind them and Jake along with Alex quickly turned around to face where the castle was situated about one metre away from them.

They could both see the castle shaking heavily and a huge roar erupted again that almost sounded ear piercingly loud. That was when they could see a huge flammy hand erupt from around the building.

Immediately Jake set eyes on the hand, red alarm lights began flashing in front of him.

"What the hell is the system talking about?!" Jake wondered in fear.
