Chapter 514: Chapter 514: Can You Do It?

Seeing that the elevator was about to go down, Melody Thorne felt uneasy wearing a mask, so she quickly pulled her hair forward and took out another mask to cover Jared Quinn’s attention-grabbing face.

"I want one too!" Timmy moved his face over, determined not to let them think they could wear couple masks without him noticing. He wanted three matching masks for the family!

"Ding," the elevator opened.

The three of them walked out of the elevator, instantly causing a gasp. A few days ago, it was Quinn CEO and Melody Thorne showing off their affection, and now they had turned into a family of three flaunting their togetherness.

This was practically torture for singles.

Moreover, walking together, this family of three looked remarkably harmonious and beautiful, warm even.

The corners of Timmy’s lips curled into a slight smile beneath the mask; even he felt happy.

His dad was on his right, and Melody Thorne was on his left.

"Doesn’t it feel happy walking together as a family of three? Don’t you wish to have more opportunities like this in the future, to go wherever you want openly?" Jared Quinn picked up his son, starting his usual playful banter with schemes to trap his son.

"You’re trying to trick me again," Timmy was clearly not falling for Jared Quinn’s tricks.

"Oh really," Jared Quinn’s gaze landed on Melody Thorne. "Then in the future, you’ll only be able to sneak around shopping, without anyone finding out, or letting anyone know about Melody Thorne’s connection to the Quinn Family."

Timmy wore a frustrated expression, clearly not wanting to fall into his dad’s trap, but what could he do?

"What do you want to do?" Timmy looked up.

He wanted Melody Thorne to stay with him, always by his side.

"From now on, you should call her ’Mommy’ instead of ’Melody.’ Can you do that?"

Melody would be exclusively his in the future; even their son couldn’t call her ’Melody’!

Timmy turned his head, "I’ll think about it."

Jared Quinn put him down, holding Melody Thorne’s hand, while Timmy automatically held Melody’s other hand. Originally intending to quietly distance herself and the father-son duo while shopping, Melody Thorne found herself sandwiched in the middle.

What was initially intended to be low-key now became exceptionally high-profile.

"Let go of me, you two walk in front," Melody Thorne anxiously tried to retract her hand.

But the two men holding her hands, one big and one small, had no intention of letting go.

Both outside and inside the supermarket, curious gazes were constantly drawn to them.

"Timmy, quickly decide what to buy," Melody Thorne urged, "let’s finish and head back quickly."

Without a word, Timmy went to pick out a bunch of domestic snacks he’d never tried before; he’d previously only had imported ones, which weren’t tasty at all.

"Trash," Jared Quinn frowned, staring at the pile of snacks Timmy tossed into the shopping cart.

"It’s fine to have some once in a while," Melody Thorne mediated.

"I also want to eat this," Timmy pointed at the little fish marinated in chili oil, looking quite appetizing.

This was one of Melody Thorne’s favorite snacks; she loved spicy food, the hotter the better.

"Buy two boxes," Melody Thorne reached out and grabbed two boxes.

"You can’t eat this," Jared Quinn expressed deep disdain, especially for this kind of food, which didn’t even have packaging; it was displayed in a glass cabinet, totally unhygienic.

"These can be eaten," Melody Thorne put them into the shopping cart, "Timmy and I will eat them, you don’t have to."

She nearly forgot Jared Quinn didn’t eat spicy food.

"It’s made from dead fish from the river and might upset your stomach," Jared Quinn pretended to take them out.
