My Vampire Wives Want My Blood!-Chapter 75- New Life (Part 2)
Chapter 75- New Life (Part 2)
The entire penthouse was submerged in silence for a moment. Both sides looked quite confused for some reason.
"Yeah, obviously?" Fiona asked.
"Ehhh..." Elio muttered. ’Living together with Fiona Vaylor? I thought she meant that she would be visiting me more. I didn’t think she would want us to live together!’
However, the boy still sucked in a deep breath and tried to calm his nerves down. This kind of development was certainly interesting.
"I was planning to move here for a while now. This is merely another reason for me to do so, so I can keep an eye on you and make sure nothing happens." Fiona said. "Do you not want that, perhaps? Does it make you uncomfortable?"
"Huh? No, no, of course not. I do not have a problem with that whatsoever. I was just surprised, that’s all."
"Hm, good. So, as I was saying, that is your room, and that is mine. Feel free to adjust it however you want."
The bedroom was as he expected, huge with its own bathroom, shower, and a balcony. It was also very modern with advanced technology that would customize and adjust almost everything inside the room.
Fiona spent the time teaching him everything he needed to know. He had never been in such a place before, and he was a bit overwhelmed, but he was able to get the gist of it quickly.
’Everything can be controlled with the push of a button. The fact that you can even adjust the temperature however you want...’ Elio felt like a caveman exploring modernity. All of this was just so far above his level that he felt like he was an imposter there.
"I will be heading out now. Feel free to eat something, I’m sure you’re hungry." Fiona said as she put on her shoes and walked to the door. "I will be back a bit later."
"Y-Yeah, I understand."
Closing the door behind her, Elio was left alone. He stood there, a bit confused as to what to do next. Then, he turned around and walked to the kitchen.
"Let’s eat something and then go train." He muttered. The fridge and the pantry were filled with food of all kinds. Some that Elio had never even seen before.
"Uuuh..." Rubbing the back of his head, he decided to just make a simple sandwich. He wasn’t that hungry to begin with.
After eating, he went back to his room and sat on the bed. He had already planned to spend the time practicing.
But, before that, Elio decided to check his stats and see how much he progressed. After what happened yesterday, he was certain he evolved greatly.

"That’s very good... All my stats are 20 or higher, and most of them are in the 30s..." He muttered as he rubbed his chin. Elio did feel extremely strong, and if he had to describe it, it certainly felt like he was as strong as three ordinary people.
His muscles were pumping with sheer power, and he could feel it well.
"A week..." He whispered as he clenched his fist, feeling his motivation rise. Elio of today was not the same Elio of the past. He was smarter, stronger, more confident, and almost better in everything.
He had completely changed to the point where he doesn’t even recognize himself anymore.
"But, I still have a long way to go, I need to focus and not get too full of myself."
He had seen what kind of power he had to face, and he was aware of how truly inferior and insignificant he was in comparison. He even needed protection to survive, which was something he didn’t want.
So, there was only one obvious thing to do. "Training... Training, and even more training."

*At the same time*
Far away from the penthouse, and far away from the eyes of the masses, inside a room only accessed by a few in this world. In fact, only a handful of people even knew this room existed.
This room was within the Vaylor Estate, and its purpose was rather simple... It was used for emergency meetings. It had only been used a handful of times before, and yet, every single time it was used, something major changed in the world.
The decisions taken within that room have repercussions that would send shockwaves across this planet.
*Clack* *Clack* *Clack*
Fiona walked within the corridor in silence, her steps echoing in the empty path. Her face was dark and cold, almost menacing. Her aura was also perturbed and ready, as if she were walking into a battle and not a meeting.
Reaching the door, she stopped, took a deep breath, and then twisted the knob. Walking in, all she saw was a large table in the middle of the room with chairs surrounding it from every angle.
There was nothing else within the room. It was as if the entire place was an anomaly, or some sort of dream-like place.
Within this room, there were several people who arrived earlier than her. She stopped and stared at each one of them, and they also stared back at her. All these faces were familiar as they were all a part of the Vaylor clan, and some were even family members of her own.
However, the atmosphere within the room was not warm whatsoever. In fact, a normal person would feel a suffocating pressure walking into that place. Everyone there... didn’t like each other, and it was apparent.
However, they were still a few here and there, standing in groups of two or more people, whispering to one another.
Fiona’s entrance, however, submerged the room in the suffocating silence again. Nobody dared to speak to her, and she didn’t want to speak to anyone either.
The girl then stepped in and sat in her chair, not bothered by the weird looks she was getting; she had already expected it when she came there.
’Let’s get this over with and then leave.’
A few moments after she sat down, everyone resumed their conversations, albeit quieter. Meanwhile, Fiona just pulled out her phone and started scrolling through it.
A few minutes passed just like that, then the door opened again, and another person walked in.
"This place is as ugly as ever. Tsk, why are we even summoned here? I was busy."
An annoyed voice cut through the atmosphere, making everyone turn around. There, a man with striking red hair and red eyes had stepped in. He had a strong, fiery look to him and a rather large build. He easily towered over everyone, reaching 2 meters in height.
"What is up with all of you idiots, huh? Why are you looking at me like that?" He said as he noticed the weird expressions on the people there. "Hm, wait... Lady Fiona is here too?! What happened?!"
