My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon-Chapter 111: Flag
Chapter 111: Flag
Before rebirth, Elian avoided violence. Not out of mercy—out of fear. When he did fight, he lost. Always. Because Defects didn’t get second chances. They just bled.
Now?
"Scan."

"Weak."
He was already on the other side.
The human breaker threw a punch; by human standards, he was fast. The man was a Radiant tier after all. Sadly, against Elian, he might as well be standing still.
So slow.
Elian took a step to the right, evading the blow. His opponents followed up and threw two jabs and a right hook. They missed. Elian danced around him like a butterfly.
"Finished?"
"Bastard!"
The breaker roared; his skin changed from flesh to bone. It was as if his skeleton had come out of his body.
He looks like a skeleton. What a stupid-looking talent.
Elian could feel the mana oozing from the transformation. But he still wasn’t impressed. Sighing in disappointment, Elian threw a half-hearted punch into his opponent’s solar plexus.
"Kuark!"
A loud tremor erupted. Like a gunshot, it rippled through the air. The skeleton Breaker vomited blood as a giant hole appeared in his chest. The immense force tore through his body so fast that the rest of him didn’t even move an inch.
When Elian pulled back his fist, the corpse fell to the ground in silence.
Despite there being over twenty people who came forth, all of them froze like statues. Even the onlookers couldn’t help but gulp in nervousness. The fight, if you could call it that, was so short it barely lasted even thirty seconds.
But Elian didn’t even stop there.
He crouched to the ground and grabbed the skeleton breaker by the neck. He lifted him up with one hand and grabbed a potion from the magic bag on his lower back. In one swift motion, Elian bashed the potion against the hole of the human breaker.
Within seconds, the flesh regrew, and the Skeleton Breaker gasped for air. However, unlike earlier, his eyes trembled in fear, as if the man grabbing him was death itself.
"Please forgive—"
Bam!
Elian punched the man in the face.
As if shot by a cannon, everything above the Skeleton Breaker’s shoulders disappeared. Even the blood couldn’t spill. It just vanished. The body slumped, lifeless.
Elian threw the corpse on the ground.
Elian grabbed another potion and smashed it into the corpse’s neck stump. Despite the miraculous sight of the potion regrowing someone’s head, every human present was terrified.
No one could make a sound. Elian did not scream, boast, or lecture. But even he felt the change in the looks of the people around him.
The twenty-plus Breakers who came forward in the beginning began to back away. One breaker dropped his weapon. Another fell to his knees and started praying. No one moved to help.
When the head of the breaker finally healed completely, he began to thrash around as if he had suddenly woken up from a bad nightmare.
"AHHHH!! AHHH!!! Ahh!!!"
He saw Elian looking above him. And he turned silent. Like a child, he bit his lip and shivered like a leaf. A dark stain spread across his pants. The stench hit seconds later. The skeleton breaker undid his transformations and began to crawl backwards.
"Please forgive me... I will never go against you again... please don’t kill me..."
Elian took a step forward.
The entire street took a step back.
He smiled, "I wonder what you would have done if I were weaker than you?"
"I w-wasn’t going to do anything, s-sir. I was just going to scare you a bit."
"Right."
In an instant, Elian drew near and stomped on the breaker’s shoulder. Pinned to the ground by the golem’s immense weight, the sounds of bone cracking echoed. Like glass slowly cracking, the sharp sound showed how brittle a breaker’s bones were against Elian.
Elian raised his head and scanned his surroundings. He made sure to gaze into the eyes of every breaker present. Most of them instantly looked down upon making eye contact.
"I will say this only once," Elian declared in an emotionless voice.
Then he stomped on the man’s shoulder, shattering it completely.
"AGHHH!!!!"
Elian bent down and grabbed the man’s hand and pulled. Like a wet noodle, the breaker’s arm was pulled out of its socket and ripped out of his torso. He took the other arm. Then the legs. Elian Kept him alive through it all. Kept healing him. Just enough to scream again.
Blood gushed out, and the breaker began to convulse from shock. Each time he healed, more Breakers fled. By the time Elian reached for the second leg, half the street was empty.
When only the torso remained, Elian made a long pole out of Living Metal and stabbed the man in the groin.
"ARGGGHHHHHH!!!"
He then raised the man into the air like a human flag as blood spurted from all his wounds. Amidst the blood-chilling howls, Elian buried the other end of the flag in the ground.
"My name is Elian Reed. Husband of Bianca Valestra. Mess with my wife or any of my people, and I come for you."
Every person could only stare at the human flag raised to the sky. His screams turned to whimpers as he bled out.
"Know that if you fight me, I promise you a long, agonizing death."
Elian took out a pair of lower-end potions and threw them at the open wounds of the breaker suspended by his groin. In an instant, his wounds healed. But his limbs did not regrow. He turned deadly pale and became silent, just hanging on the pole, unable to save himself.
"Anyone else want to turn into a flag?"
At Elian’s words, every human in the vicinity turned tail and ran. Within seconds, the busy street turned scarce. Even the bouncers who had guarded Elian earlier tried to pretend they were wallpaper along the buildings.
Elian didn’t smile. He didn’t speak. He just watched.
No matter how one wished for peace, without strength he would never find it. Elian’s act now would cement his name and infamy. But it would also grant protection to his loved ones and future allies.
Sigh. If one wishes for peace, one has to be ready to fight the ugliest war.
Somehow, Elian felt that this moment would define how he would rule.
Right now, he was only on Earth, but soon, he would need to deal with other worlds. By then, just beating them would not be enough; Elian needed to ensure that those he puts down could never rise again.
"I hope dealing with other races is less complicated," Elian murmured.
Elian was about to turn around when a lone human inched toward him slowly. It was a teenager who was dressed in low-quality gear. Wondering who this brave soul was, he glared at him.
But the teenager kept looking up the human "flag" and Elian. He wore glasses and had the image of an intellectual. However, although he approached slowly, there was no fear in his body language.
Who the hell is this bastard? fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
Funnily enough, the one to recognize him was Fluffy, "Ned?"
Her outburst made Elian turn toward her.
"You know this person? Is he an ally?"
Fluffy’s face made a complicated expression as she answered in low spirits, "I don’t know him. But you do."
Confused, the golem shook his head, "No, I don’t. You know more than I do. I don’t even know his name."
"Sigh, you forgot him, you lunatic. Take out the coin, the beat-up Crown, and ask him."
"What good will that do?"
"Just do it."
Although puzzled, Elian knew Fluffy wouldn’t lie to him. So he turned back to the teenager and pulled the coin out of his magic bag. But before he could ask, the other person spoke first.
"Damn crazy, Elian. I could hardly even recognize you."
Something twisted in Elian’s chest. A missing piece. Not pain—an absence. He hated that feeling most of all. The feeling gnawed at him, like an itch one could not scratch.
Elian frowned. "Stop acting like you know me," he retorted.
"Huh? It’s me, Ned. Your best friend since grade-school?"
"I don’t have a best friend. Leave."
"Stop messing around, Elian. Sure, my appearance changed a bit, but so have you. It has been a year, so that is kind of expected, isn’t it? Anyway, mind if we speak inside?"
Finding the very sight of Ned uncomfortable, Elian crafted a Onyx greatsword from Living Metal and drew it at him. It made a loud wong announcing how heavy it was.
"Your ears seem to be broken. I said, leave."
Ned’s body shivered at the sight of the blade, but he stepped forward regardless.
Elian swung his sword down without mercy.
Clang.
"Do not do something you will regret; you senile lunatic."
With her tail, Fluffy pushed Elian’s word away. The golem couldn’t understand why he felt irritated, but it began the moment he saw this Ned character. Just as he was about to lose it. The voice of the one he loved most pleaded.
"Elian, please calm down. Bring your friend inside. We have much to discuss."
"..."
Wordlessly, Elian turned around and entered the building. Fluffy shoved Ned inside as she and the other Weapons followed him in.
