My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 138 - 132: Sunstone
When Indie Lowell returned to the Vance residence, she found the entire family waiting for her in the living room. She sneered inwardly.
"What’s this? An interrogation?"
Connie Vance, who already couldn’t stand Indie Lowell, was the first to speak up. "You have the nerve to ask! Are you trying to destroy the Vance family? Isn’t it bad enough for us already? You want to keep hurting us until we can’t even stay in Syland City anymore..."
"Heh... The Vance family’s misfortune has nothing to do with me," Indie Lowell replied coolly, tossing an agreement she was holding onto the coffee table.
The color drained from Aiden Vance’s face. "Indie... You..."
"Brother, she’s the prized daughter of the Lowell family. We were punching above our weight with them. She clearly looks down on you now, so you should just sign it and let her go back to the capital to marry someone else..."
"Shut up!" Aiden Vance slammed his hand on the table and roared at her.
But Indie Lowell paid no attention to what they were saying. She looked coolly at Derek Vance. "Control your daughter’s mouth. Next time, don’t blame me for being ruthless."
"Indie, how could you..."
"Do you know where I just came from?" Indie Lowell asked Aiden Vance, enunciating each word. Then she gave a light, cold laugh. "I just came from the place where my son was hidden..."
"What? Where?" Aiden Vance shot to his feet, strode over, and asked Indie Lowell excitedly.
But her eyes were filled with a startling hatred as she swept her gaze fiercely over every member of the Vance family in the room. "Grandcrest Martial Arts Hall."
"Impossible... You’re spouting baseless accusations! Indie Lowell, you bitch! It’s bad enough you suspect me, but now you’re going to suspect my brother too? Are you saying our whole family plotted against your son?" Connie Vance cursed, but the words had barely left her mouth when Indie slapped her across the face with lightning speed.
"I’m warning you, I’ve been putting up with you for a long time!"
Connie Vance clutched her face, glaring daggers at her, but she didn’t dare retaliate. Indie Lowell had just broken through to a First Rank Martial Arts Master, putting her on par with Connie’s father. If she dared to fight back, Indie would absolutely make sure she spent the next half a month bedridden.
Derek Vance’s expression was incredibly dark now. His gaze fell coldly on Indie Lowell as he asked in a low voice, "How do you know all this?"
Indie Lowell pulled a tissue from the box on the table and carefully wiped her fingers, one by one, as if Connie Vance were something disgusting. She replied in a flat tone, "Bruno and Ron Vance’s deaths are connected to Grandcrest Martial Arts Hall. The place is empty now; everyone has vanished. The Martial Affairs Bureau is issuing a warrant for everyone from the hall. I expect it’ll be out by tonight."
The faces of every Vance family member present changed. Indie Lowell took in all their expressions, and when her eyes landed on Connie Vance, she grabbed her by the collar and demanded harshly, "The head of Grandcrest Martial Arts Hall used to pursue you. Did you order what happened back then?"
"Dad, help me! My sister-in-law is trying to kill me!" Connie Vance cried out in a panic.
Indie Lowell viciously tightened her grip on her neck. "Young Lord Morgan is personally handling this case. If I find out you had anything to do with this, Connie Vance, I will make you understand the consequences of crossing me."
Indie Lowell released her, letting her fall heavily to the floor, where she clutched her chest and coughed violently.
"The Shadow Organization’s symbol was found inside Grandcrest Martial Arts Hall. They were using the Vance family as cover for their child trafficking operations..."
"No, that can’t be—" Connie Vance shrieked in denial, shaking her head frantically.
Indie Lowell looked at Derek and Aiden Vance and said emotionlessly, "Don’t wait for someone else to clean up your house for you."
「Two hours later」
Indie Lowell headed straight for the airport, pulling a suitcase behind her. Thanks to Young Lord Morgan, she was able to board Arthur Lockwood’s private jet.
Zella Vaughn poured her a cup of coffee and said comfortingly, "The child is in very good health. The issue with his Intelligence might be drug-induced. Once the effects of the medication wear off, his Intelligence may return..."
Indie Lowell nodded, relieved. She looked over at Joel Morgan, who was drinking milk nearby, and asked wistfully, "Mrs. Morgan, when will I be able to see my son?"
Zella Vaughn sighed. "Are you willing to be a mother to two children?"

The drive from Kenton International Airport to Sunstone took over two hours. Jared Miles’s secretary, Levi Forrest, drove cautiously in the front.
’He never would have guessed that these three kids were actually Mr. Miles’s junior disciples.’
’As his trusted confidant, this was the first he’d heard that Mr. Miles was a child who had come from the mountains.’
’He had already imagined a whole tear-jerking, inspirational drama about a poor child from the mountains.’
’But a bucket of cold water was promptly thrown on that fantasy.’
"Delete what’s in your head."
"Huh?"
Levi Forrest saw his boss’s sharp, intelligent eyes in the rearview mirror and gave an awkward laugh.
"Park the car in town. You don’t need to come with us."
"Huh? There’s so much stuff in the car. How will you carry it all?"
But he was met with a look of disdain from his boss.
After getting out of the car, Levi Forrest watched in utter shock as the two little girls each carried dozens of bags and walked off without the slightest effort.
’These martial artists are way too strong!’
It was still a ways from the small courtyard in Sunstone Town to Sunstone mountain, and the four of them chatted as they walked.
It was mainly Leigh Miles, who was chattering away, curious about her brand-new senior brother.
"Senior Brother, when did you leave the mountain?"
"When I got into university. I was probably about Dawn Miles’s age."
"Then how did you build such a huge company?"
"I borrowed money from our master’s wife to start the business."
"The master’s wife? Is she that rich?" Leigh Miles couldn’t believe it.
Aurora Sinclair, who was beside them, nodded solemnly. "Richer than Master..."
Leigh Miles: ...
’Why do I feel like I missed out on a hundred million?’

"WOOF WOOF..."
A yellow figure was seen speeding down the mountain, making a beeline for Aurora Sinclair.
"You old dog, you’ve got a sharp nose!"
Warner leaped powerfully and threw himself into Aurora Sinclair’s arms, frantically licking her face, his tail wagging like a drum rattle.
Jared Miles forcibly pulled Warner away from Aurora Sinclair and set him on the ground.
Warner circled him, sniffing, then rubbed against his leg with a wagging tail, as if recognizing who he was.
It was the busy farming season, so most of the villagers were out working in the fields. Only a few children were left playing with pebbles at the village entrance.
One of the little girls saw Aurora Sinclair and Leigh Miles and ran over happily.
"Dawn Miles! Sister Leigh..."
"Here you go, have some candy!" Leigh Miles pulled a handful of candy from her pocket and stuffed it into the little girl’s hand.
Seeing this, the other children ran over too. Aurora Sinclair and Leigh Miles each gave them a big handful of candy, making the children as happy as if it were the New Year.
"Dawn Miles, Daoist Miles isn’t home. Immortal Guthrie and Apothecary Warner are in the medicinal garden, and the Stone Eccentric is on the back mountain..." the little girl cleverly reported the whereabouts of the four of them.
Leigh Miles rewarded her with another piece of chocolate.
The group first returned to their master’s house to drop off their things. Leigh Miles and Titus Miles stayed behind to sort through everything, while Jared Miles and Aurora Sinclair headed for the back mountain, carrying some wine.
In a solitary little courtyard, a scruffy, bearded man, bare-chested and dark-skinned, was sawing wood.
The ground was so completely covered in wood shavings there was nowhere to step, yet the man was working barefoot right on top of them.
"Master Stone..." Aurora Sinclair called out.
Quentin Stone froze. He looked up and stared at Aurora Sinclair for a long moment. Then, with a loud CRACK, the piece of wood in his hands split in two and fell to the ground.
"Rory, you’re back?" his gruff voice was filled with delight.
He strode over, stood in front of Aurora Sinclair, and clapped her on the shoulder, booming, "Rory, you’ve gotten taller!"
Then, as if remembering something, he suddenly turned and ran into the house. "Rory, wait a second!"
Carrying the wine, Aurora Sinclair carefully navigated around some finished pieces in the courtyard and went inside.
She saw Quentin Stone bent over, rummaging through chests and cupboards for something.
After a moment, he pulled out a dirt-caked wooden tablet, wiped it on his pants, and pressed it into Aurora Sinclair’s hand.
"Rory, keep this safe!"
