Chapter 3: Hesha and Anemose

Chapter 3

I was right. She was going to wash me herself. However, it wasn't anything like I would have imagined.

The first and most important thing was she was still dressed in her clothes. If it had been cliché, then she would have at least worn a towel that only covered half of her chest and was short from the bottom.

She didn't.

And then I did the next best cliché thing but that didn't work either.

"Mother, if you wash me, your own clothes would get wet. Why not just take them off?" I suggested and you know what was her reply?

"It's all right, sweetie, I will dry it with a flame spell." While it revealed a clue that there was magic in this world, how was I supposed to focus on that when my chance to watch those mammaries was gone?

And I was still supposed to do that quest which I couldn't even wrap my head around. If it was a secondary quest, why was it so difficult and the reward for it was practically nothing?

I couldn't think about it anymore, though, when Rayla washed my back properly and asked me if I could do the front myself. Of course, sticking to the cliché pattern, I declined and said it hurt even though it didn't, and my one point of HP was back.

She nodded with a smile and began to wash me from the front as well. She stood up, a little taller than me, and she began to wash my chest which was very scrawny. Then she did the same for my arms and then she moved down to my groin.

However, there was no reaction from her. I also didn't feel anything when she passed over my glans, all that there were, and washed them. I thought I would at least feel something even at that but I didn't.

And looking at her reaction, which was nothing, it revealed that this condition of mine was normal to her. Almost as if it was natural.

It meant one of two things. Either she was very familiar with my condition and now there wasn't even pity left, or this was normal.

Normal as in everyone had it. It was genetic.

Now I would never ask another man to show me his dick. Even the ones I ripped off were never seen by my eyes.

So the problem was that I couldn't confirm what it was. Whether it was the first diagnosis or the second one.

I really hoped for it to be the first one because if it was just for me, then there was a chance I could fix it. But if it was genetic and it was built that way, then I would have to do something very serious about it.

The bath that was uneventful beyond my imagination came to an end. Even her clothes didn't get properly wet to stick to her body to give me some erotic dreams.

She finished washing me and left saying I could use a cloth to dry myself. I figured since there were no towels, I would have to make do with the cloth. The first thing I was getting when the shop would open would be the daily necessities.

That was all I would be able to get with the free coins anyway.

I returned to my room, or I at least hoped it was my room. I sat on the same bed that creaked and lay down on it. I had no information so my first course of action was to go out and get some information on the world structure.

I would have liked to know why I was injured but since Rayla didn't mention it, I couldn't ask myself without giving any hints away.

Time passed and almost after three hours and no solution in sight, I decided to go out. I came out of my room and made my way down the stairs like before. I saw Rayla cleaning the table, still with the same skirt that hid her ass so I couldn't quite make anything out of it.

I decided to worry about it later and approached her and said, "Mother if you wouldn't mind, can I go outside?" I asked.

It was still bright outside, it wasn't even noon yet so I figured there was a lot of time for the day to end.

"Uhh... Sweetie," She hesitated as she looked at me and asked, "Where do you want to go?"

"The library," I replied straightforwardly.

"Oh." She was surprised by my answer, "Why there?"

"Just want to get some study done. To make sure I know things," I gave an excuse even though it was technically true.

"I see," She replied like she didn't believe me but said, "Sure, you can go."

"Thanks," I wanted to also apply the scene of hugging her in happiness and then she would forgive me like nothing happened. However, I had done that before in one of my previous lives and the result wasn't something very good.

It worked in the world of cultivation so there was a fifty-fifty chance. But I was not taking it. I stood to lose a lot more if it was the negative fifty.

I left the house and was welcomed by not what I expected. I had expected a village, muddy roads and all that. But no, it was actually very clean. Like the London of the eighties in those Shercock Homoes movies.

Only the theme looked a lot older like in the middle centuries.

Brick houses, something that looked like street lamps but had no electricity in them so I guessed they were either run by candles like in the olden days or magic.

Now the problem that I had right now. I had no idea where the library was. So while I roamed around town for a few minutes, I found some children playing around and I asked them.

They were kind enough to guide while asking, "Brother Jack, are you going to the cursed forest again?"

Two things I picked up from that. One, I was Jack. Rayla called me sweetie, so I didn't know what my name was. Now I knew, and as for my second name, if my family wasn't a noble family, I doubted I would have one. The system-given name was not always the same as the body's name I was transmigrated in.

And the other thing I picked up was how I was injured. It was just a probability so I wasn't sure but it seemed to be the most probable cause. The cursed forest. Sounded ominous.

I finally arrived at the library but it was just a small one. They said for the bigger one, I needed to be awakened. Whatever that meant.

I entered the library and saw the librarian, tending to the books. He seemed to be a man above eighty and asked, "Are there any books on world history? And also I would prefer it if you have the books on the foundation of this town as well."

He looked at me weirdly but didn't ask what was on his mind. Probably somewhere along the lines like where were you living if you don't know about this town.

He simply left and came back with a few books. "These ones are free for an hour. After that, you will have to pay ten copper for every hour you spend here."

"It's fine. I will be done sooner." Way sooner.

He skeptically looked at me but kept his words to himself. I made my way to the table and began to just skim through the books. I didn't read a single word of them because it was useless to me.

I moved to the other book and did the same. I was done with all the books in just three minutes. I returned to the old man with a smile and said, "Show me all the free books."

He distastefully looked at me because he thought I was just wasting his time but he still complied and showed me the shelves that had the free books. I began to touch every book and saved them in the glossary.

After I was done, I asked, "If I want to access the advanced books, how much money would I need?"

"Why would I have advanced books? I only have basic stuff. Go to the main library if you need those." The old man curtly replied but I didn't argue.

I left the library and returned home. I saw Rayla still busy with some work, her ass still covered. I tutted inwardly and went to my room.

I laid down on the bed and said, "Compile the glossary."

[Entry one: Basic knowledge of Hesha]

[Entry two: Basic knowledge of Anemose]

'Hesha' was the name of this world while 'Anemose' was the name of this town. Other than that, the data was useless so the system didn't register it or somehow incorporated it into these two entries.

"Transfer," I commanded and then closed my eyes as knowledge began to pour into my head. The basic knowledge of these two entries.
