My Young Husband, The Assasin-Chapter 79: Love, rescue, and desperation
Like swiftly moving shadows, Tetsuya and Daiki effortlessly and freely infiltrated the Ishikawa mansion despite it being heavily guarded. Surveillance cameras were installed at every corner, and guards were on duty 24/7 without loosening their vigilance. Not even a fly could enter here. Yet, the two of them easily penetrated all the defences without the slightest difficulty.
Tetsuya’s first destination was the underground prison, as he was convinced that Saki was being held there by her grandfather. Dozens of guards stationed around the underground prison area were easily taken out by Tetsuya and Daiki without any significant resistance.
Tetsuya’s assumption about Saki turned out to be correct. Upon opening one of the heavily guarded doors of the underground prison, Tetsuya found Saki lying helplessly with her body tied up with ropes.
"My little pony!" Tetsuya ran towards her.
"Pa-pale face," Saki murmured weakly, gazing faintly at Tetsuya, who looked anxious.
Of all the people Saki knew, why did it have to be Tetsuya and not Issei or Someone else who came to her rescue here? What was the reason for this pale-skinned man to risk his own life to save her, who was nobody to him?
While feeling touched, Saki felt calm, as if protected, with Tetsuya’s presence nearby. Even though the two of them were love rivals and debate partners, it now felt as if they were very close and deeply significant to each other.
"What happened to you?" Tetsuya looked anxiously at Saki’s condition, which seemed poor.
"Hel-help me..."
Tetsuya tried to untie the ropes binding Saki’s body but was stopped by Daiki, which caused a slight argument between the two due to a misunderstanding.
Daiki himself insisted that before Tetsuda relieved Saki of her bindings, he should gauge the condition. Daiki came to check on Saki, as he had studied medicine at some point and could tell whether Someone had been poisoned.
After examining Saki, Daiki concluded one thing, "Someone gave her a high dose of stimulant, and it seems that a small amount of poison was mixed into it. It’s very dangerous if this is left untreated."
"What will happen to her?" Tetsuya asked anxiously.
"Death," Daiki replied quickly.
"There’s no way a stimulant has that kind of effect," Tetsuya groaned, unwilling to believe Daiki’s words, which he found unreasonable.
"Of course, there is if it’s made by someone who is an expert in plants and medicine."
"Four eyes!" Tetsuya cursed the image of Ryoji flashing in his mind. Ryoji could concoct drugs, much like Tsuchihebi.
If Tsuchihebi used his abilities to create medicine to help people, Ryoji was the opposite, using his skills to harm or even kill people.
"So what should we do to save her?" Tetsuya asked again.
"She needs to release her desires," Daiki answered with a flat expression. For a moment, Tetsuya was shocked by Daiki’s response.
"Isn’t there another way? As a kind of antidote or a way to get rid of her desires?" Tetsuya was perplexed and panicked, perhaps becoming aware of Saki’s condition as she moaned.
"There’s no cure for this. The only way is that."
"No way," Tetsuya firmly rejected Daiki’s plan.
Tetsuya couldn’t bring himself to do anything inappropriate to Saki. He couldn’t even imagine it, let alone actually do it. It wasn’t that he didn’t desire women; he didn’t want to hurt Saki.
"Now you have a choice: either watch her die in anguish or save her. But didn’t you claim you wanted to save your beloved? Why is something as simple as this not possible for you to do? "Stop acting like a virgin high-schooler," Daiki scoffed, irritated at Tetsuya’s uncharacteristic reaction.
"I am still a virgin," Tetsuya confessed.
Although Tetsuya had been close to many women and men, none of them had ever slept with him. It was only limited to hugs and kisses, nothing more. It does sound odd and even weird, but the truth was Tetsuya never wanted to have sex with Someone who was not his life’s partner.
Daiki stayed motionless for a while, surprised.
"You’re normal, right, Tetsuya? Is your junior even able to function and be strong?"
Not that he had known Someone like Tetsuya could be pure; that had been something Daiki had never really considered, and now he was reminded of how naive he had been because of that curiosity.
Daiki had assumed that Tetsuya had a long list of exes and beautiful women he had slept with, but Tetsuya was still innocent.
"Do you want to check if my junior is strong?" Tetsuya shot a sharp glance. Daiki punched Tetsuya’s shoulder hard.
"Ugh~ in a critical moment like this, you’re still joking. Can’t you see she’s in pain?" Daiki pointed at Saki, who was suffering from the effects of the drug Ryoji had given her a few minutes ago.
"Then tell me how to relieve her suffering," Tetsuya said.
Daiki sighed softly. "If you don’t want to see her die, the only way is for you to..."
"Protection," Tetsuya interrupted, holding his hand to Daiki, asking for something.
"Huh?!" Daiki exclaimed.
"Do you have protection or not?" Tetsuya asked impatiently, unable to bear seeing Saki in such agony.
"Wait a second," Daiki rummaged through his clothes, looking for something he always carried.
Daiki handed a small box to Tetsuya. "This is all I have."
"This is more than enough," Tetsuya muttered.
Tetsuya glanced at Daiki, still standing nearby, and then pushed him out. "Please guard the door."
"How long?" Daiki asked, wanting to know how long he had to stand there waiting for the two of them to finish.
"Half an hour," Tetsuya answered confidently.
"It’s half an hour, right? Not a little longer?" Daiki asked again.
"Stop asking so many questions. Go guard outside," Tetsuya pushed Daiki firmly out of the cell.
"Okay," Daiki said, followed by the sound of the door shutting tight.
Originally, Daiki intended to accompany Tetsuya to rescue Someone and destroy the Onibara group, not to stand guard at the door to ensure no one disturbed Tetsuya and his beloved as they shared their love inside the cell.
Saki’s eyes gazed faintly, her cheeks flushed red, and her breath was laboured, clearly showing how much she was suffering from the turmoil inside her body. Tetsuya walked up to her with steady steps, then started to unzip the ropes that had bonded Saki’s body, those that permitted her no movement.
When the bindings were released, Saki pounced forward, impatiently wrapping around Tetsuya and kissing his lips. Saki’s attack surprised Tetsuya, who would possibly fall in love with her, but he later realized that this was the drug. He didn’t resent her or feel angry at her; he felt guilty about touching her without her consent.
"Forgive me, Saki," Tetsuya thought as he kissed Saki.
Tetsuya wrapped his arms around Saki’s neck and pulled her closer. Saki opened her mouth wide for Tetsuya, his tongue sliding past her lips to twist in playful harmony with hers. Tetsuya was now on top of Saki, her body on the chill, bare floor.
Tetsuya pushed himself a bit away from her with his arms. And a tear—it fell, wetting Saki’s cheek.
She saw Tetsuya’s face, filled with agony and pain. Although they had exchanged only a kiss, Tetsuya felt he had defiled and ruined Saki.
Although her body was now consumed by desire, Saki still retained a sliver of consciousness and could see Tetsuya crying because of her.
Saki’s hand caressed Tetsuya’s cheek, and she gave him a gentle smile, signalling that she understood Tetsuya had no intention of hurting her. He only wanted to help, even if it meant doing something inappropriate, and Saki wouldn’t blame or hate him for it.
"Forgive me," Tetsuya whispered, unable to hurt Saki further. Even though he had resolved himself earlier, he realized he couldn’t proceed.
He felt weak and cowardly because he truly loved Saki and wanted to protect her with all his heart. Tetsuya cried bitterly, blaming himself for arriving too late to save Saki, causing her to suffer and endure such torment.
Saki’s arms reached out, pulling Tetsuya into a tight embrace. "Hold me, Tetsuya-kun," she whispered.
"Sob~" Tetsuya’s tears flowed even more.
"I-I know you wouldn’t harm me, so please, don’t hesitate," Saki whispered with the shred of consciousness she had left. Tetsuya, returning Saki’s embrace, buried his face in her neck.
"Forgive me, Saki," he murmured before kissing her neck longingly.
Saki smiled affectionately as she pulled me closer, consenting her body and soul to Tetsuya.

Daiki almost fell asleep out of boredom in front of the cell door. He might have dozed off if the door hadn’t opened to reveal Tetsuya carrying Saki’s sleeping body. His eyes glanced at Saki, noticing several red marks around her neck, which were undoubtedly Tetsuya’s doing.
Tetsuya handed Saki’s body to Daiki to carry. "Please take Saki away from here."
"What about you?" Daiki asked anxiously.
"I still have something to do. First, I need to deal with that bastard Ryoji," Tetsuya said, his burning dark eyes looking at Saki’s sleeping face in sorrow at the warmth they had shared just before.
"Then, stop by Tsuchihebi’s and take her there. I’m sure she’ll be safe there," Tetsuya said.
"Okay, if that’s what you want."
"Thank you, Daiki."
Following Tetsuya’s orders, Daiki transported Saki’s corpse to Tsuchihebi’s lab while praying for Tetsuya’s safe return. In reality, Tetsuya was suffering, struggling to get by despite the agonizing pain from his flaring heart condition.

After successfully rescuing Saki, Tetsuya didn’t simply leave the Ishikawa mansion. There was something important he still had to do because his main goal wasn’t just to save Saki. Suddenly, Tetsuya’s heart began to race. The effects of the medicine he had taken were supposed to last a few more hours, but it seemed the events in the cell with Saki had drained him more than he expected.
Tetsuya, creeping in silence, had slipped inside Kaito’s private room at the mansion’s far end. Thankfully, the guards outside the room were unaware of what he was doing.
When he stepped into the room, Tetsuya found it to be dark. He probably figured Kaito was already sleeping. The master of the house slept, but the guards worked through the whole night, keeping a check from within and outside the grills so that no hooligan could enter the gates. But Tetsuya had already infiltrated.
Tetsuya’s dark and tall figure stood erect, his gaze emotionally distant and filled with hatred. He faced his grandfather. He unsheathed a dagger hidden under his ninja garb and lunged a straight thrust at Kaito. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
Kaito had overtaken the curse with shadows, his eyes full of hatred and murderous intent, but his hand suddenly stopped there.
"It looks like you’re still awake, old man," Tetsuya said lightly, seeing his grandfather open his eyes.
"Tetsuya!" Kaito exclaimed in shock.
Kaito tried to kick Tetsuya, but Tetsuya swiftly stepped back to avoid the blow.
Kaito rose from his lying position and immediately grabbed the sword he had deliberately placed near his bed, prepared for situations like tonight when Tetsuya would sneak in and attack him like an assassin. Kaito intentionally triggered an alarm to alert all his guards to come to his room and capture Tetsuya. It didn’t take long for dozens of fully armed guards to fill Kaito’s private room, along with Ryoji and Shin, who were also present.
Logically, being surrounded by so many people instils fear and prompts one to surrender for safety. But that didn’t apply to Tetsuya.
Instead of feeling afraid, Tetsuya smiled broadly and laughed, infuriating Kaito. Even while surrounded, Tetsuya remained calm and relaxed.
"Surrender, Tetsuya," Kaito said, pointing his sword at Tetsuya, who stood firmly before him.
"Facing death is better than surrendering to you, old man," Tetsuya replied coldly, his gaze fixed on Kaito, flanked by dozens of guards.
