Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 204 - Two Hundred And Four:Saving Adrik And Dagan(2).
"What are you guys doing here?" Erin asked, trying to understand what this is all about. If he was right, this is a private room in their father’s chambers that were off limits to all of them, including him too. He has only taken the opportunity to do what he ought to have done since.
"We should be the one asking you that," Azazel said, trying hard to not lose his focus on him since he didn’t trust that he’s here just like the rest of them for the same thing."Why are you here?" He added.
"I don’t think you are going to believe me, but I’m here for the lifeforces, i need to free Adrik from that torture your father put him through." His words made Aurora stand up straight while looking between him and Ramiel. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
The both of them didn’t believe his words for it, apparently he’s their father’s best friend. There’s no way he would do such a thing to go against him.
"And you expect us to believe that?"Ramiel added, pushing Aurora behind him in case of any surprise attack that might start from Erin’s side.
"Then you can see that i am working on what you guys want too. You are also here for the same thing and i can see you trying hard to leave here without creating distractions. I can help you with that. I can help with Abaddon, the main thing is that we save Adrik." Erin said coming closer, while Azazel’s eyes turned red making him still on the same spot.
"We are not just here for Adrik, we are here to save Dagan too." Aurora added, making Azazel and Ramiel hiss at her for spilling their secrets to him. But that doesn’t change the fact that they haven’t been caught red handed by him and if truly he is telling the truth, then they might have a use for him.
But if this goes sideways then they are as good as dead. Their father might have put him in charge to monitor their movement knowing that something like this would occur.
"I don’t think you see what’s more important here, Adrik has to be awakened and it has to be now." Erin said, coming closer to them but this time they didn’t do anything to show that they were going to hurt him, but that didn’t mean that they let their guards down." Your father has gone after the witch and her child, it’s only right that Adrik knows that he has a son.``
"His son?" Ramiel asked, raising his brow." The baby isn’t our father’s?"
"No, why would you think so?" Erin said, chuckling to himself about how they got everything wrong but he loved their courage as well for the step they had taken to save him, regardless of the fact that they are the reason he’s here in the first place.
"We tried to bring the door down, but it didn’t bulge. Father might have cast some spells or what on it. We don’t even know the passcode." Azazel told him, as he waved his head in disagreement.
"No, your father might be anything, but he’s not a witch to cast spells that strong.Let me see." Erin said, looking at the door before trying to figure out exactly they said what’s holding the door from opening.
Until he typed in a few codes he knew that Lucifer might have used, his friend might be smart but he wasn’t smart with numbers. So the door opened for the second time with the four digit code he came up with.
"Shit! That was so easy! How do you know that?" Ramiel asked, watching as the door opened and a cabinet was right in front of them that on top of it had a box which Aurora wasted no time to grab. Slowly did she open it and the light coming from the two life forces covered the passageway.
"This is it, all we have to do right now is to go save them." She said with a heartfelt smile on her face, as she looked at Azazel who turned over to Erin.
"Aurora and i would be going for Adrik, while si...."
"No, I’m just here for Adrik, maybe you go with the two of them to save Dagan. It would as well tug off any suspicions coming from Abbadon, and the guards of they saw all four of us heading for the containment room." Erin disagreed with him.
"But.." Azazel tried to make him see the need of having Aurora along, but he still didn’t agree.
"You don’t get it,Azazel. This is now or never. I can’t risk having this go to waste if you run into Abbadon, I can handle him if that’s what you are scared of."Erin said, patting his shoulder.
"No you can’t." He told him truthfully and he knew that too.
"Then to avoid any mistakes, you can come with me, while the lady goes with your brother, how do you see that?" Erin had to give in to a little bit of his suggestion, hoping that he sees reasons with him while he was sacrificing his life for this.
He can’t let Lucifer destroy many years of everyone’s hard work because of his greediness. He doesn’t even know if he was going to kill Adrik’s child or not, after all he wanted to be the one to breed Narika.
"He’s right, Azel. Let me go with Ramiel, Abbadon wouldn’t suspect anything." Aurora had to chip in and Azazel had no other option but to oblige.
"Fine, but we try hard to do this as fast as possible, we don’t know when father will be back and i reckon that he won’t be able to hurt Adrian again, once everyone knows that he’s alive." Azazel said, as he looked at Ramiel who nodded his head at him, before looking at Erin.
"We will head out first, you guys can come out in five minutes after." He added, as they started to leave the hidden passage and made it into his room.
With one last look at Aurora and Ramiel, he left with Erin although it was hard to explain the dejavu he was feeling about all of this, but just like he said he would rather die than to live as Abbadon’s slave.
"Let’s do this, for hell’s sake." He whispered to Erin, before they conspicuously made their way to the containment room, while hoping that Aurora and Ramiel would be with Dagan right now with his life force they took along with them.
