Chapter 224: Chapter Two Hundred And Twenty-Four: Suspecting Sergei.

Inside the car where Alex Singh sat with Cain at his side, he watched the way his lawyer was speaking with the detective outside. He still can’t believe that Sergei Monroe had called the cops on him just four hours after his son went missing. How did he know about that?

It made him wonder if this was a plan better him and Jason to bring him down, but he didn’t do anything. He wasn’t the one who told his son to run his mouth towards Lucifer, but still he was still anxious to know how exactly he knew that Jason was missing.

If this is a plan between him, Jason and Lucifer?

Judging from the way Jason had been eager to meet Lucifer, maybe it might have worked and he had a deal with Lucifer, one that wouldn’t end up benefiting him.

These days, since after Alex reunited with his family he had less interest in his political career, he’s planning on giving up in the long run so that he could enjoy the leave he had with his family, but then Sergei was another thing.

If he has not repented, and is still the same Alex he was in the lady, he would have counter attacked Sergei by now, and that was what Cain wanted, the motherfucker still hasn’t realized that things had changed.

What they were battling is not just any normal human, he would rather use his strength and everything to fight Lucifer, even if it’s going to cost him his life. As long as it’s going to bring Polina back, he didn’t care rather than to waste his precious time on someone like Sergei.

The car door opened and his lawyer sat in the front seat before turning to face him." As for now, since Cain has successfully wiped out the cctv in the area, which just only captured Jason’s car parked in the front of your house, they don’t have any substantial evidence that he went into your house and never came in, so without that you are safe, Mr.Singh."

"Thank you, lawyer Gary. I’m sorry for the stress though." Alex said, shaking his hand as Lawyer Gary smiled.

"It’s nothing, Mr. Singh. My family owes you a lot, the least i can do is to be there whenever you need my help." Gary said, as it took a lot for Cain not to gag and vomit.

He didn’t like the changed Mr. Alex Singh, but his boss was too kind and rich for him to just abandon him for another and besides he had been working for him for years to just abandon him.

"Don’t say that please, I owe it to you too." Alex said, before Lawyer Gary told him about going home to meet his family. Cain didn’t waste time for him to leave before making his opinion known to him.

"We can’t just leave Sergei like that, boss." Cain said, pinching the top of his nose before continuing."He deserves to pay for what he did, his son is a fool!"

"Let him be, Cain. He’s just grieving and deserves everything he’s going through right now. I can’t help but feel guilty like am also responsible for the loss of his son."

"I hope he’s dead right now, that would help..."

"Cain!" Alex snapped, shutting him up.

"I apologize, boss." Cain apologized, before the driver started the car while turning the radio on, surprisingly it was the same news that has been going on for days.

The high rate of missing girls in the state, and just when he tried to tell his driver to turn the radio down, his phone started to ring.

"Nelson." He answered the phone, before hearing the panic in his son’s voice which didn’t let him tell him about the good news of him not being arrested again.

"Father, Have you being able to reach Adrian?" Nelson asked, making Alex’s brow to quake up worried.

"No, is anything the matter?" Alex asked, looking at Cain who didn’t have any idea what was happening until he put the phone out for him to hear what Nelson was saying.

"I don’t know, but i think something is wrong. I called him. Camille was there, he was asking for help, father. Something is wrong with Adrian." Nelson related everything that was happening to him.

"Did you reach out to Cami...no, you don’t have her number."Alex remembered." I will call her first, there’s nothing to worry about yet, son." Alex assured Nelson, but he wasn’t having it because she knew what he heard back then.

Before Alex could tell Cain what to do, he had called her line." It’s ringing, but she’s not picking up." He told Alex.

"Try tracking both their phones." He told Cain, while holding his phone to his ear, he heard Marya’s voice over the phone just like Nelson, she was worried.

"I can’t track Adrian, but i got a location on Camille’s." Cain said.

"I will call you later, Nelson." Alex said, before cutting the call. Then the driver started the car and drove to the location where Camille’s phone was taking them.

When the car was parked outside the hospital, fear gripped Alex because he didn’t know of any reason why Adrian would he in the hospital and Camille wouldn’t alert them of it.

"There’s his car parked over there."Cain said, pointing at where his car was, before they rushed over to see an ultrasound picture on the ground, with Adrian’s shattered phone but no sign of him or Camille.

Alex took the ultrasound picture, and looked around, incase of anyone or anything being suspicious. He didn’t touch Adrian’s phone because it might be used as evidence to track whoever might have taken him and Camille, because from the look of things both of them were kidnapped.

"Her phone is inside the car, boss. But there’s no sign of anyone." Cain said, waiting for Alex to give the order." I’m sure Sergei is the one responsible for this." He added, trying to hasten things up so he could go spill some blood.

"We don’t know that yet, call the cops and alert our men, but before doing that check the cctv in the area. I will talk to Nelson." Alex said, taking his phone up as Cain departed to do as instructed while he waited for Nelson to pick up.

Adrian wasn’t that strong like Nelson, but if truly Camille was pregnant then he did fight to save her seeing as his phone was ruined beyond repair, which made him wonder how on earth Sergei was able to get to him and his son in just four hours of Jason’s disappearance.

It doesn’t make any sense that he’s the one responsible, but yet the cctv would say it all.
