"Were you able to get to him yet?"

That was the first question Nelson threw at his father, the moment he walked into the house with an usual expression on his face. One that made him know that he was just as clueless as him when it came to what had happened to Adrian.

Alex shook his head in denial, making Nelson to snuck in a breath and that was followed by his wife, who didn’t know how to go about what was happening.

It was just as if their life had been cursed, every second they were away from daily dramas that were as if it had been set already while waiting for the right time to explode.

No one could give an account on what has happened to Adrian, it was just like the same thing Jason has said about Marilyn after she was taken away by Lucifer.

But then over the phone, Nelson heard his dad say something about their car parked in a hospital, and that made him worried.

Was Adrian asking for help because he was injured?

Was it Camille?

"You said his car was at the hospital, did they say anything about why he came to the hospital, the cctv, anything?" He asked his father.

"I’m still waiting on Cain to get the cctv clip in the area, and that of the hospital, but then..." Alex paused, dipping his hand in his breast pocket and gave the ultrasound report to Nelson, before looking away towards the window side.

It didn’t take long for a gasp to leave Marya’s lips, she was shocked just like he was and as well Nelson. Adrian never really told anyone about having a baby with Camille, was it not just yesterday that Nelson was joking with his dad about him knocking the girl up anytime soon.

"Camille is pregnant?"Nelson asked, it was more of a question trying to get his father to be sure of what he’s saying.

"Yeah, they went for an ultrasound before they both went MIA, this was found at the scene of the accident with Adrian’s broken phone. The cops are still doing their investigation but we are still waiting for Cain to be back." Alex explained.

"I can’t help but suspect Sergei, father, we have to do something before things gets out of hand." Nelson was of the same view with Cain that Sergei was the one behind what was happening, but yet he wasn’t seeing anything here related to Sergei.

Yeah, there might be a possibility that he might have sent his men to do the work, but Adrian was trained to fight few men off and besides, he wouldn’t have easily allow them to the Camille without unleashing that beast that was hiding inside of him. What is his name again?

"I don’t think so, Son. The time lapse doesn’t match. You called him the moment i was arrested right?" Alex asked Nelson, trying to get something out of what had happened.

"Yes, but he could have had his men...." Nelson tried speaking but he didn’t wait for him to finish.

"No, son. Adrian would have done everything possible to save Camille, even if it includes allowing his alter ego out. This isn’t what Sergei would do, how exactly does he have the time to find Adrian in that short period of time he managed to call the cops on me?"

Just like he was still talking the front door opened and Cain walked in a haste, carrying a laptop along with him while coming their way.

"Were you able to get anything from the hospital cctv?" He asked, but Cain shaked his head disappointedly. What he was expecting, no..who they were suspecting that was the reason for Adrian and Camille’s disappearance was innocent.

This was something that was far from normal human reasoning, how can he explain to him that someone, something took away the both of them in the middle of the night?

"No boss, but i think you need to see this." He said, placing the laptop on the table and turning it on, while taking out the usb drive from his pocket and fixed it in the laptop.

"What is it?" Alex asked, as the others came around him too to see what exactly Cain was trying to shoe to them.

"Unfortunately, the hospital’s cctv wasn’t stable and was not able to collect what occurred outside, but i was able to get the dashcam from the car around the corner where Adrian’s car was parked." Cain explained , as Alex nodded his head at least he was still smart as ever. "This is what happened." Cain said, pressing play and the scene occurred in front of them.

Camille was sitting in the hood of his car, waiting for him to make that call that he was having with Nelson until suddenly his hands started shaking, and when Camille tried to find out what was happening.

A total new being appeared out of the air, grabbing Adrian by the neck.

A gasp tore through Maya when the camera was in cue to capture Lucuis face, as he raised his hand towards Camille, and she moved right to where he was in wind, it was the same feeling with when Lucifer was in here.

Red eyes, with long talons were captured in the dash cam, as Adrian struggled to get over the hex on him to protect his woman and baby, until the creature whispered something to Adrian, then everyone disappeared into thin space.

"No!" Alex yelled, as if he could bring Adrian and Camille back by pushing his hand inside the flat screen and dragging them where they were. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

"Who do you think it was?" Marya asked, scared.

The first has been her daughter, then Marilyn and Jason. She didn’t know, no one knew what Adrian nor Camille had done to deserve what they just saw, where are they?

Who is that man..no, creature.

"Who do you think it is, if not Lucifer, that crook!" Alex yelled, throwing the laptop to the floor as it crashed against the floor, causing the others to skip away from the scene.

"Father, calm down." Nelson went to his side, as he was having a panic attack from his bed he had reached watching what had happened.

He too was too speechless to say anything about what he just saw, he doesn’t know what to say that would make his father feel better right now.

He’s still dealing with the fact that Lucifer has Polina, and now Adrian?

Nelson didn’t know if this was a plan, by Narika to punish them all for the way they had treated her and her baby, but then he’s reminded that he trained his daughter better, but after watching her pop out a demon from her uterus he would have to reconsider the good home training she had.

That wasn’t his child.

He didn’t want to side with Marya on that aspect, but ever since the incident with Lucifer. Anything is possible right now, but he didn’t want to say it out loud cos that’s like a slap to his face.

How is he going to explain to his family that he suspects that this was Narika’s way of enacting revenge on her, and even if she wanted to do that. She wouldn’t go after Camille, nor Adrian but her mother.

Marya handed a chamomile tea over to Nelson, who helped his father to a seat before helping him drink that to calm his nerves.

Cain stood aside waiting for his boss to speak, he didn’t want to make it possible to everyone to know that he’s scared. The great Cain, the slayer is scared but why won’t he be?

He wasn’t able to do anything, when Lucifer had everyone in his control this morning.

"What are we going to do about them? We can’t just sit and wait for a miracle to happen, when it’s obvious that Lucifer took them." Marya asked.

"What if it isn’t Lucifer?" Cain chirped in, as everyone peered up at him." I mean if he wanted to go after someone, I would suggest Jason’s daughter just to keep the motherfucker in place, so why Adrian and Camille?"

While they were all giving their own suggestion, Alex was in a world of his own. One that had him thinking of the best strategy to follow up what just happened, but then Cain was making sense.

Why would Lucifer come after his child and daughter-in-law?

He thought of all he could do, to save Camille, her child and as well his son before uttering.

"We need to find Narika, she has to know about this."

"I..don’t think that’s a good idea, she’s angry at us." Nelson reminded her.

"It doesn’t matter, Adrian was special to her and he wasn’t here to know that she left already." Alex added.

"But how exactly do we do that?" Cain asked, and both Alex and Nelson looked at Marya who was confused.

"Marya would do it, with the help of Naomi. You will get to apologize for what you did and try getting her to give us information about Adrian’s location." Alex said, as Marya nearly scoffed at his words.

How dare he tell her what to do, but the look Nelson gave her made her coordinate herself.

"And if Lucifer isn’t the one responsible for their disappearance?" Nelson asked, that’s a big possibility that Alex didn’t want to think of.

"That’s bullshit, he has Adrian and Camille, and that’s final. No more, no less."
