Rowan fell down with a loud thud, that shaked the whole building as a result of his fight with Gabriel. He could admit the motherfucker has upped on his game, since the last time they fought each other.
But it’s such a pity that the overruler will have to lose such a great soldier, because as he stood up to use his powers on him. He fell back to the ground holding his chest before he started spitting out blood.
It was Adrian, fighting against him.
"Father!" He heard Erin shout from where he was fighting with some of Gabriel and Lucifer’s men. He tried approaching him to offer him help, but when they looked at their side where a huddling scream came from, they saw Naomi snap Sia’s head, as she fell to the ground before she took a huge stone besides her, and disfigured Sia’s body, so there’s no way Rowan will have anyone to help him.
"Give it up, Rowan. Your time is over." Lucifer appeared besides Gabriel, for the very first time the both of them weren’t fighting each other. It’s not like he’s any different from Rowan, but it’s just that Rowan was insane and is trying to end the world with what he’s doing.
Rowan bursted out laughing at both Gabriel and Lucifer, they both think that they have won this war but it was far from it. His main concern was on Ares, who none of his men were able to touch beside Narika was doing a good job protecting him.
So, it was going to be really hard getting him and using the sacrificed knife that Sia has offered, which all he has to do is to stab Ares’ directly in the heart before they could exchange bodies.
He didn’t even know where Mammon was amidst the fight, all he knew was that he was hurt by Gabriel when he flung that door open.
"I wonder why Micheal isn’t here right now, don’t tell that Lucifer bribed you to be here? After all, he’s no different from me, so why would the crystal palace fight alongside a criminal!!" He yelled, before rushing to attack both Lucifer and Gabriel.
This time around Adrian didn’t do much but to return to his whims, the adrenaline rushing through his body at the sight of watching his long-time enemy had Adrian down.
While the fight was going on, Narika’s gaze fell on Camille, her uncle’s fianceè and for the first time her attention was pulled away from where Ares was, because Adrik was busy fighting off Rowan’s minions to care about protecting his son.
She didn’t believe the others who said that Ares can protect himself, he might look grown up and have powers of his own but he’s still a baby.Her baby!
So, she dragged him along to where Camille was, with her head hidden in-between her thighs so as to not see what was happening, while her two hands were wrapped protectively against her bump.
Narika called her, which made her raise her head up to acknowledge Adrian’s niece before she stood up, only for a painful scream to leave Narika’s lips as she was immobile where she was.
Camille turned around to see that everyone seemed like they were trapped, including Gabriel and Lucifer who were on the floor gasping in pain. Lucifer was strong but Rowan was stronger, the life forces he has ingested for a month has given him, more strength than that of Gabriel and the said angel of darkness, Lucifer.
"Ares!!" Adrik shouted when he saw that Ares was the only person whose Rowan’s power didn’t affect. But the young child didn’t seem like he was bothered about what was about to happen, because he was looking at everyone before he stopped to look at his mother.
"No!" Narika said to him, it was as if she knew what was going through his mind, while Rowan picked up the knife that had fallen to the floor when he was fighting.
He started to approach Ares, but Adrian started to fight against him. The motherfucker didn’t want to put his nephew through what he was passing through. But it’s such a pity, because this was something that was meant to happen. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
"Run, Ares. Please!" Narika cried, but the young child did nothing but smile at his mother.
"This is my fate, mother." Ares said, touching her cheek until something clicked in Narika, and she realized that it wasn’t Rowan that was holding them captive. It was her son, it was Ares!
Because including Erin and Mammon was having the same issues with them, so she tried breaking free from her hold.
"You know I’m fascinated at the fact that you choose to sacrifice yourself for everyone, that’s a huge amount of love for people who don’t care about you." Rowan told Ares, who started to walk away from where Narika was, while she cried for him to stop.
But this was his destiny, he’s the antichrist. The sole bearer of everyone’s sins.
Rowan raised his hand towards Ares, who was pushed to the floor to kneel in front of him.
"Adrik, do something!!" Narika cried, but Adrik knew this was meant to happen, because his father, Lucifer already told him about this before leaving, that’s why he wasn’t close to Ares, his son because he’s not going to stay.
Ares is willingly sacrificing his body to the Rowans life force, and free his uncle.
As Rowan raised the knife up to stab him, someone blocked the intrusion but he saw that coming and yanked Sakura up in the air.
"No!!" Oregon yelled, when he saw his niece being strangled by Rowan.
Rowan looked back at Oregon before smiling darkly. "It’s such a pity, you would have made a better queen than her." He did, before looking at Camille, who was staring back at him in fear of her life and that of her baby.
She’s the only one who wasn’t held hostage by Ares, but she has no courage to save anyone or her child.
"Sakura!!" Oregon yelled, but it was too late, Rowan snapped her neck before bringing her closer to ingest her life force before throwing her lifeless body to the floor.
Rowan hummed satisfactorily, before going back to what he was about to do. Ares looked back at his mother, smiling lastly at him before feeling the knife being impaled into his heart with a loud screech coming from Narika.
Both Rowan and Ares fell to the floor, before the transmission started. Rowan was groaning in pain, before under everyone’s eyes, Adrian took his normal body shape, and that was when Camille stood up and rushed to him.
Ares still remained on the floor, without nobody knowing if he was dead or alive.
"Im..so sorry." Adrian apologized, but Camille didn’t care. She hugged him, holding him tightly as if he’s going to disappear.
The others who are under Are’s hold were released, as Narika fell to the floor. She couldn’t cry. She has no tears to cry as Raj rushed to pull her into a hug, before everyone who were manipulated under Rowan regained themselves, and Marya called out to her daughter.
Gabriel approached Ares where he was on the floor, before touching his temple muttering something, but everyone knew what he’s doing. He’s tying down Ares, no, Rowan in internal bondage, before a host of angels appeared to carry his body to the crystal palace where he will remain imprisoned forever.
Micheal appeared too, before approaching Gabriel. "You did the job."
Gabriel nodded.
It’s over.
The antichrist didn’t win.
Narika continued crying, which made Gabriel feel pity for the human. "She will be compensated." Micheal told him, patting his shoulder, before leaving with Gabriel following behind.
"It’s all over." Lucifer said, before leaving with his men. While Oregon was crying over Sakura, who doesn’t exist anymore likewise Adrik who didn’t know how to console Narika, she didn’t want to talk to anyone.
Alex, Narika’s grandfather, didn’t know how to approach the situation, while Nelson and Marya weren’t able to console Narika.
While the others are happy, Narika was the only person including Oregon who had to deal with the loss of a loved one, but that’s the cost of carrying the seed of the chosen one.
Ares was never meant to have a normal life, he died that everyone might live. That’s his fate.
