Naruto: I Have a Gravity Training Room-Chapter 433 - 432
Tenten's voice made the shop owner jump to his feet.
When he saw the two of them return safe and sound, his eyes immediately welled up. "My good daughter, my good son-in-law—you're back! How did the war go? Are the village shinobi okay? And Tsunade-sama and the others?!"
The rapid-fire questions made it obvious just how anxious he'd been.
Tenten quietly hugged him and said softly, "Dad, sorry to make you worry. We won. Everyone's fine, so you can relax now."
The owner only nodded, then looked at Natsuki and nodded again. He didn't need words to say anything more.
In that moment, he truly let himself breathe again.
Natsuki hurriedly said, "Father-in-law, Tenten and I are starving. We didn't even get breakfast or lunch before rushing back. And we still need to go to the Hokage Building to report we're safe."
The owner immediately said, "Then go, go—head to the Hokage Building. I'll make lunch. And I've got to share the good news with the neighbors!" 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Natsuki and Tenten didn't linger. Seeing the owner finally at ease put them at ease, too. They used Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) to flash to the Hokage Building, delivered the news of victory in the Fourth Shinobi World War, and had the official in charge of those staying behind announce it publicly.
In an instant, all of Konoha turned bright and festive.
After that, the two of them flashed back home and shamelessly started enjoying their own private time.
Three days of war, and they hadn't even had a proper shower.
Natsuki went into the room for a moment, then quickly came back out. "Tenten, where's our umbrella?"
Tenten shot him a look dripping with allure. Then she aimed the showerhead at herself—hot water soaking through her clothes—until even the air in the bathroom seemed to turn pink.
"The war's over," she said. "So we should get married already, right? Who needs an umbrella?"
Natsuki stared at her like that, swallowed hard, and nodded emphatically. "True. It's not even raining—why would we need an umbrella? Tenten, watch me… I'm gonna 'ride the plane.'"
By the time the two of them—refreshed and brimming with energy—returned to the ninja tool shop, it was already afternoon.
The owner originally wanted to complain a little, but seeing the two of them like that, he didn't even bother. He quickly waved them over for lunch, and asked about the details of the war.
Tenten only picked the parts she could talk about, and mostly focused on how she and Natsuki had shown off and dominated. The owner listened with rapt attention.
Especially when he learned that Natsuki had participated in the final boss fight and become a hero who saved the shinobi world, the owner grinned so wide it looked like his mouth might split to his ears.
After all, his daughter's man was the chosen savior of the shinobi world!
That was the kind of story he could brag about until the day he died, okay?!
After lunch, Natsuki and Tenten went home again to nap for a while. There was no rush to head to Kumogakure.
No matter how fast the Allied shinobi were, they'd only make it back to Kumogakure in the afternoon. Between resting and cooking, it would still take time, so there was no need to hurry.
When evening came and they'd finished resting, they flashed to Kumogakure.
They appeared right beside Sasuke.
They hadn't expected that the moment they arrived, they'd find Sasuke surrounded by a crowd of beautiful girls. Naturally, the two of them ended up inside the circle too. Natsuki and Tenten even saw Sakura in the middle of the group, biting a handkerchief—obviously jealous.
But their sudden appearance made the scene turn weird for a beat.
Then, in the next second, the pretty girls got even louder.
"Natsuki-sama! Tenten-sama! You're back! Please sign for us!"
"Natsuki-sama! Does your house need someone to warm the bed? I'm soft and sweet and I fall over with one push—top-tier bedwarmer!"
"Natsuki-sama! Look at my figure—it's absolutely amazing! Totally built for an easy delivery! I'll never let you or the kids go hungry…"
The lines got more and more outrageous, and Tenten instantly exploded.
She grabbed Natsuki and used Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) to flash straight to Tsunade-sama. She was so furious she could actually carry someone with Hiraishin now—impressive, honestly.
But Natsuki understood Sasuke's situation right away.
Sasuke was one of the heroes who saved the shinobi world, and with a face that handsome, of course he was popular. Beautiful girls were going to swarm him.
Natsuki even thought: if Sasuke ever made up his mind and took them all, restoring the Uchiha clan would be a complete non-issue.
As for whether Sakura was "sad," that wasn't Natsuki's problem.
Tenten was still fuming. "Hmph! Those vixens actually dared to covet my husband! I'll blow them away with the Bashōsen (Banana Palm Fan)! I'll suck them all into the Crimson Gourd! I'll blast them with an electromagnetic cannon!"
Seeing Tenten all puffed up like an angry cat, Tsunade burst into laughter so hard she nearly doubled over. "Hahahaha! Tenten, your man's too outstanding—of course people are going to stare. Want me to teach you? If you want to keep a man's heart, just being pure and cute isn't enough. You've got to be beautiful and sexy—and the key is having a great figure!"
Tenten stared at Tsunade and nodded rapidly. "Tsunade-sama, please teach me! I want to become someone like you, Tsunade-sama!"
The dream sounded the same as before, but the meaning behind it… was definitely different.
Natsuki couldn't even be bothered. He moved to sit beside Neji instead, and asked curiously, "Neji, you're a big hero too, and you're handsome. How come nobody's swarming you?"
Neji actually blushed a little, which was rare for him. "My uncle stopped them. He said I can choose any outstanding woman within the clan. Outside the clan is not allowed."
Hiashi immediately leaned his head over and said, "Naturally! Neji is an immortal now. For the clan's prosperity—and to ensure the Byakugan remains pure in his descendants—it's best to marry within the clan!"
Neji couldn't help rubbing his forehead. Clearly, some of the old hardliners in the clan were not easy to change.
And the problem was… you couldn't even say it was "wrong," because it was "for the clan."
Besides, Neji didn't have a girl he liked yet, and nobody was tearing apart some love story, so he couldn't exactly argue much.
Natsuki shrugged at Hiashi's attitude.
It was obvious Hiashi was fanatical about evolving the Byakugan. If he wanted Neji's children to have the purest Byakugan possible, of course he was going to be intense about it—hence insisting Neji marry within the clan.
Natsuki even suspected that if Hinata and Neji weren't cousins, Hiashi would've agreed to that match without hesitation.
Hinata didn't seem to be here. She was probably off secretly watching Naruto again. After all, Naruto was a hero now too—and he was also being surrounded by girls.
And since Hinata never had a chance to confess the way she did in canon, Naruto still didn't know how she felt.
Whatever. Why bother worrying about it? The idiot deserves to be single.
Not long after, the feast was ready.
Kumogakure's efficiency really was incredible. The delicious dishes were fully laid out in no time—just looking at them made everyone's mouth water.
The Five Kage stood on a raised platform and had everyone lift their cups with them.
"Shinobi—cheers to our victory in this war!"
"Cheers!!!"
"To our heroes—cheers!"
"Cheers!!!"
"To ourselves—cheers!"
"Cheers!!!"
"Now—enjoy yourselves to the fullest! Tonight is a carnival!"
"OHHHH!!!"
