Just back at work, Natsuki obviously still didn't have a clear grasp of the situation.

Tsunade answered, "Ten days from now. The representatives from the various countries and villages who plan to join have probably already set out. "Natsuki, you have to go too!" Tsunade's one sentence yanked him back to reality.

"Huh? Why do I have to go?" Natsuki blinked, dumbfounded. "Tsunade-sama, can't you just represent us? I've been married for barely twelve days! I haven't even had a honeymoon yet and I already had to come back to work—I'm suffering here. And Tenten is pregnant, I've gotta stay home and take care of her. How am I supposed to be running around?!"

Tsunade folded her arms and sneered. "You took a full month off for your wedding, and everyone else split your workload. We nearly worked ourselves to death while you were off living the good life. And now you want to keep being free and easy? Dream on."

Kakashi agreed completely. "Natsuki, the Grand Alliance was your idea. You have to be there. That's Konoha showing sincerity."

Hashirama added, "In fact, the Great Nations have requested that all four Kage and all four great heroes be present—show our strength properly, so the countries and villages that still aren't convinced will fall in line. Besides, a lot of people want to meet the heroes who saved the ninja world. Even if you don't want to go, you have to."

Natsuki rolled his eyes, but he didn't keep arguing that he wouldn't go.

Worst case, he'd just use Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) to slip home when he had a moment. His Hiraishin was busted anyway.

Tsunade gave an instant thumbs-up. "With this new battery, I won't need to activate In'yōton (Yin Release) when facing strong enemies."

Kakashi also praised it. "Now my double Kamui can actually be used where it matters!"

The Senju brothers were extremely satisfied as well. Even if they already had a lot of chakra, who would ever complain about having more?

More chakra meant you could fight longer.

Out of everyone, Jiraiya had always cared the most about Orochimaru as a companion. He'd once been heartbroken over Orochimaru's defection. Now Orochimaru had turned away from darkness, and could make amends through merit—there was no better outcome than that.

Naruto tried it too, and was very satisfied.

Even though he had the Nine-Tails as a massive "battery," relying too much on that power wasn't always a good thing.

The last time they fought the Ten-Tails, the Nine-Tails' chakra had been drained tremendously—so much so that it needed time to recover for the first time. If they'd had high-capacity chakra batteries like this back then, they wouldn't have been so passive.

"But, uh… how much chakra does this battery actually hold? We need a number, right?" Naruto was genuinely curious.

"Well…" Everyone looked to Natsuki, because none of them had any real sense for it.

Natsuki didn't have a sense for it either—but he could invent a new one. "Ahem. One battery is about five 'bars.' One bar is roughly about the same as Naruto's own chakra, and Naruto's chakra is about a hundred Kakashi-senpai. So why don't we use Kakashi-senpai as the unit? One 'Kidney-Deficient Kakashi' worth of chakra is one 'Ka.' Then one bar is one hundred Ka, and one battery is five hundred Ka. Thoughts?"

Kakashi immediately objected. "No! Terrible! What does this battery have to do with me? Why is my name the unit? And I'm not kidney-deficient! My chakra just gets drained by Kamui, that's all!"

But everyone else nodded. "One Kakashi equals one Ka, one battery equals five hundred Ka—super clear, super straightforward. Let's do it."

Then Kakashi glared at Natsuki. "Natsuki, did you do that on purpose, or by accident?"

Natsuki looked completely serious. "Kakashi-senpai, I'm helping you become famous!"

Kakashi's Sharingan practically turned into a Hyūga Byakugan. "I don't need fame. My reputation as Konoha's top technician is already loud enough—I don't need an extra 'kidney-deficient' title! And also, you invented the chakra battery, Orochimaru improved it into this new model—wouldn't it make more sense to call a bar one 'Na' or one 'Oro'?"

Natsuki and the others all shook their heads. "No. The numbers don't line up, and 'one Ka, one hundred Ka, five hundred Ka' rolls off the tongue. That's what we're calling it."

Everyone decided unanimously. Kakashi's objections were invalid.

And sure enough, it didn't take long for the unit to spread all across Konoha. Faced with his friends' teasing smiles, Kakashi felt like his entire life was over.

Besides, the fact that he liked reading "Star-uncle" stories was already common knowledge anyway. One more embarrassing reputation wasn't going to kill him.

The next day, Orochimaru's report on the new battery arrived. Somehow, Orochimaru had gotten the news unbelievably fast—because the report used "Ka" as the unit, leaving Kakashi utterly speechless.

Tsunade couldn't help laughing, but she still read through the report with everyone, and planned to discuss production of the new chakra battery with the other villages afterward.

This was strategic material. They couldn't afford shortages.

Orochimaru would only handle research, not production—his research time was too precious.

He'd already submitted the report. How to manufacture it was something the villages needed to figure out.
