"A hole, huh?" Inside the crown of the towering Citadel, Abraham sat upon his comfy chair with a narrowed gaze. Before him was none other than Laplace, who had recently completed her mission and eliminated the invaders in one fell swoop. Though, it brought about change in geographical features that could only be considered as permanent.

After a short while of thinking, he sighed and realized that there was no used worrying about it. The edges of his lips rose as he remarked. "Was the Apostle a challenge, Laplace? He must have been a strong one to warrant a vast depression that took a chunk of the island." His words resounded, earning the thoughtful expression of the dragoness.

"Well, not exactly strong, but the Apostle was troublesome to say the least." Laplace responded after thinking about it. The word strong had an excessive meaning to her. The one that could make her bleed was strong, but many except the Sovereigns couldn't do so. Anyhow, Abraham lightly chuckled after hearing her.

"Now that we have killed an Apostle, do you think that the situation would attract the presence of a Sovereign?" He wanted to know the probability of encountering a Sovereign during the counter operation. After all, if the Apostle was a troublesome one, he might have been an important member of their ranks. And he was right about his thought process.

But ultimately wrong about his idea of the Sovereigns.

"The death of a True Apostle would definitely attract the attention of the Sovereign that sent him. However, it's near improbable for them to even cross with us. Their status doesn't make it easy, and even if they did so, it would be in the forms of their Avatars." Laplace wasn't worried that much about the Sovereigns.

They could only worry once the Sovereigns united under a single front. But until then, they were free to do whatever they wanted without the hindrance of the Sovereigns. Since these so-called Gods of Humanity were nothing more but final deterrents. They also had their personal schemes and strategies, further inhibiting their capabilities to work together.

"I guess you're right about that. At any rate, with the invading armies gone. It's time for us to strike back." Abraham stood up and walked towards the glass behind him. He observed the expansive staging ground which merely contained the strategic ships. The preparations had been completed, and it was time for their first deployment.

If it was a success, the naval doctrine of the United Military must be overhauled to adapt into its newer technologies. The United World Government would grow even more stronger, and soon... The Ferus Sea would be free for them to take over. Even the Revolting Tide and the Ancient Kingdoms of the Frontier wouldn't be able to stop them.

"Before, I wanted to test the capabilities of the United Military against an invasion. They have made taken the best path that ensured less casualties and heavier defensive capabilities amidst a burdened force. So, I didn't want to wait more time. We have to be quick, after all... The world isn't waiting for anyone." Abraham uttered with calm, his eyes gazing upon the new fleet.

"Don't you think so, Laplace?" He asked his wife, who merely smirked upon hearing him. She stepped forward, standing beside him while her golden gaze landed towards the staging ground. "I will follow you until the end of the world, my love. Even as it burned, I will stand by your side as the one that set it ablaze. Let them know of the United World Government and its Authority."

"Let our name be engraved within the annals of time and into the very essence of this world."

Within the bridge of the UNSS Vagabond, Captain Jack stood as an intelligence officer reported the order of the Authority. "Captain, the declaration of the deployment has been opened. It's time for the Sentinel Corps to begin Operation Retribution Freedom." Hearing the report of the intelligence officer, Captain Jack nodded in understanding.

"Commence ascension, follow the fleet formation." Upon his orders, the personnel within the bridge swiftly operated the Strategic Cruiser to ascend towards the heavens. The surrounding strategic ships followed suit as the Admiral of the Fleet emerged from the holographic screens. He was an old man, and his name was Zion, formally known as Admiral Zion of the Sentinel Fleet.

*The Authority has given us the highest of honors to deliver retribution to those that dared to invade the United World Government and tarnish the spirit of freedom. Let us be the song of judgment, and the sword that shall plunged into the hearts of our greatest adversaries.*

The words of Admiral Zion echoed throughout every bridge within each strategic ships. From destroyers, cruisers, battleships, and carriers. They heard the commandment of the Authority and the United World Government as a whole. Their hands rose to a salute as their backs straightened. They were ready for battle, from the naval personnel operating the flying ships to the soldiers.

All of them felt the honor and pride of their duty. The burdens of their preceding brothers and sisters shall be theirs to shoulder. For it was their fate, their ideals, and their fealty to the greater United World Government.

*Set course to the coordinates of the island fortress that brought about the invasion. They shall be the first to know of our retribution. Begin HERMES Transfer!* Following his thunderous voice, the personnel of each strategic ships activated their HERMES Spatial Transmission Engines. The spatial planes surrounding these behemoths of steel folded against one another and warped.

From an outsider's field of view, the strategic ships of the Sentinel Fleet were covered by a cocoon of light that acted like tendrils encroaching throughout every corner of hull. Then, in mere moments, a brilliant light flashed in a piercing radiance. It momentarily blinded those that directly observed it, and afterward, none remained.

No strategic ships of the Sentinel Fleet were left behind within the staging grounds of the Citadel. They had achieved their purpose, and the hammer of retribution shall fall to their adversaries. This was a day that would change the course of history. The moment when everyone throughout the world shall understand the United World Government as a whole.

Abraham proudly smiled at the success of the spatial transfer, and remarked. "The second step has been taken, my dear wife. The world shall understand that the United World Government isn't a mere cockroach they could stomp with ease. The moment my Sentinels returns would be the moment we become a global power. And it shall not take too long until then."

Laplace observed the leftovers of warping spatial planes and grinned. "As expected of my husband, no wonder my heart couldn't resist your temptations." Her husband had acquired a force that might be capable of rivalling the likes of the Magus Tower. It would be a force that would ascend them to greater heights and consolidate their power within the Ferus Sea.

"I believe this achievement requires celebration... Don't you think so, my love~" The dragoness whispered to his ears, gently nibbling it with seduction. It has been a while since they did the deed. So, Abraham didn't bother resisting and promptly carried Laplace to the table while she locked her legs around his waist.

"Oh my~ What a brute..."

Meanwhile, the island fortress of Citrus had been the staging ground of the twenty-four armies that had invaded the Dominion Island of the United World Government. It was surrounded with dozens of fleets and consisted of soldiers that reached the hundreds of thousands. The colonial lord of Citrus, while drinking his exotic wine, was disgruntled by the unexpected intrusion of his assistant.

With a furrowed gaze, he placed his glass of wine on top of a luxurious table and uttered. "I hope your report is as worth as my time, otherwise... I will feed you to the wyverns for disturbing me." The disheveled assistant felt chills, but quickly reported the situation. "My lord, the spatial gates have lost their connection. We have lost contact with the twenty-four armies."

Upon hearing the words of the disheveled assistant, the arrogant lord of Citrus froze. The war effort against the United World Government had enriched his territory. His fortress island had become a hub of trade and military power. Amongst the court of Mavors Lords, he had become a respected figure. The war had brought him opportunities.

But now...

"Impossible!" He threw the glass of wine towards the assistant, who barely dodged it. "How could the spatial gates fail? The Magus Tower has personally invested these gates for the war effort against the heretical nation. There's no reason for them to fail!" He yelled, unable to believe a word that escaped the assistant's mouth.

"U-Unless, the twenty armies have lost... No! That's impossible. The next batch of reinforcements would be sent tomorrow, the war should still be far from over." The lord of Citrus couldn't even think of the twenty-four armies' defeat. Before he could question further, the alarm bells chimed, echoing throughout the fortress island of Citrus.

The lord stood up and walked towards the windows. Above them were gargantuan steel ships soaring across the heavens. How? Even the airships of the dwarves weren't so advanced. Soldiers rushed in and out of various fortress preparing for a siege as hundreds of shooting stars fell from the heavens. The bombardment had begun.

The fortress island of Citrus was pummeled by hundreds of warheads. Explosions deafening reverberated throughout the island as dust were lifted off alongside rubbles. The blazing flames of destruction consumed alleyway and streets while screams and cries echoed with sadistic glee. Sadly, it didn't end there. Alongside the bombardment of retribution, angels clad in steel descended.

They have been deployed... The supposed angels of the Sentinel, MECHs.
