Mo Yun activated her skill, merging with her Unicorn and transforming into a blazing orb of white light.

At its front, a silver horn gleamed—it was the Unicorn’s.

Skill: Holy Smash!

Without hesitation, Mo Yun charged at the man blocking her path, treating him as an enemy.

His expression shifted in panic. He dared not take the blow head-on and quickly steered his Golden Eagle aside.

At that moment, Lin Moyu also sped up, closely trailing behind Mo Yun.

Just as they were about to reach the dungeon, a beam of golden light shot down from the sky, forming a radiant wall in front of the entrance.

Mo Yun's Holy Smash collided with the radiant wall, shattering it—but her skill dissipated as well.

"To stop Mo Yun’s charge... that defensive skill must be pretty strong." Lin Moyu muttered.

Mo Yun’s skill was even stronger than a Knight's charge at the same level, yet it had been blocked.

The man reappeared in front of them.

“Yun, why are you ignoring me?”

Mo Yun’s expression turned to icy-cold, “Dan Feiying, call me 'Yun' one more time, and I’ll kill you.”

“Then tell me—what would it take for you to give me a chance? Honestly, we’re a perfect match.”

Dan Feiying’s thick skin faltered when he caught the killing intent in Mo Yun’s voice, and he wisely took a step back.

“It’s not happening.” Mo Yun said coldly, “Now move.”

He stayed put, “My party’s ready. If you’re heading to the Holy Marsh Space for the holy light, I can help.”

Mo Yun gritted her teeth, “I don’t need your help.”

“Without me, you won’t be able to beat the boss and get the holy light.”

“That’s my problem. Now move!” Her killing intent flared again.

Still, he didn’t budge, “Mo Yun, let me help you. Just one chance.”

“Are you moving or not?” Light shimmered around her as the Holy Spirit Unicorn’s energy surged.

All of a sudden, screams erupted nearby.

Dan Feiying’s teammates had finished off the Demons and flew over—seven Summoners, all riding flying-type summons.

Now they formed a wall in Mo Yun’s path.

Dan Feiying dropped the act, “If you won’t give me a chance, I won’t let you into the dungeon.”

He looked like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum.

Mo Yun’s face darkened. If the Dan Family weren’t on good terms with hers, she’d have attacked already. Patience had never been her strong suit.

From the side, Lin Moyu chuckled. Compared to Shui Zhijun, Dan Feiying was better—but his shamelessness was unmatched.

Mo Yun turned to Lin Moyu, “Can you get me past them?”

He smiled and nodded, “Sure. Want me to kill them?”

Mo Yun shook her head, “No. They’re from Hekou City’s Dan Family, a longtime ally of my family.”

Then, her voice hardened, “But… feel free to make him suffer. His shamelessness is out of control.”

Lin Moyu caught her meaning—don’t kill, but don’t spare him either.

“Alright. Let’s go. No time to waste.”

Lin Moyu agreed without hesitation. To him, this was a simple task.

Without another word, he flew straight toward the dungeon entrance.

"You’re the helper Mo Yun found?" Dan Feiying’s voice dripped with skepticism.

He couldn’t gauge Lin Moyu’s level, but anyone entering the Holy Marsh Space had to be below level 60.

Dan Feiying himself was level 55, and with seven other Summoners at his side, he was certain they could crush such an opponent.

Lin Moyu ignored him.

Dan Feiying frowned, "Come any closer and don’t blame me for being rude."

Still, no response.

Feeling provoked, Dan Feiying snapped, "Stop him!"

But none of his teammates moved.

"Why aren’t you doing anything?" He demanded, scanning his party.

A cold shiver ran down his spine. Every one of them, along with their summons, was wrapped in white bones.

Aside from their eyes, they couldn’t move a muscle nor make a sound.

Lin Moyu now stood directly before him, fire flickering in his palm.

In the next moment, a soul-searing pain erupted in Dan Feiying’s mind that ripped a scream from his throat.

He trembled violently and curled up, powerless to resist as Lin Moyu walked past and entered the dungeon with Mo Yun.

Only after what felt like an eternity did the torment fade.

Dan Feiying stared at the dungeon entrance, hatred and fear mingling in his gaze.

Moments later, the white bones encasing his teammates shattered, setting them free.

They quickly turned to him.

“Young Patriarch, are you alright?”

“Should we inform the patriarch?”

“We were all restrained just now.”

Dan Feiying shook his head, “No. He wasn’t trying to harm me—just warning me.”

“What a terrifying soul attack… Who is that guy?”

“Hard to believe Mo Yun knows someone that strong.”

“You guys, go find out who he is. He can launch a soul attack, bind opponents with a powerful skill, and he’s young...”

Dan Feiying summed up what he knew. Someone like Lin Moyu had to be famous.

Then, a teammate murmured, “Young Patriarch, no need to investigate. I think I already know who he is.”

“Who?”

“You’ve been grinding in the family’s secret realm for the past six months, so you wouldn’t know. But outside… a godlike figure has appeared.”

Dan Feiying frowned. Six months in isolation had left him in the dark about recent events.

“Stop beating around the bush—spit it out.” He snapped.

“Yes, yes. If I’m right, he’s Lin Moyu, the youngest three-star godly general in human history.”

Dan Feiying let out a strange cry, “What? A three-star godly general? He’s not even level 60! How is that possible?”

“The whole human race knows about him now. Ask anyone, and you’ll see I’m telling the truth.”

Dan Feiying didn’t doubt it. After a brief pause, he said, “We’re leaving.”

“What about Miss Mo Yun?”

“Miss Mo Yun, my ass! If he really is a godly general, I’m not sticking my neck out. Move!”

The group wasted no time, activating their Teleportation Stones and vanishing from the area.

The Holy Marsh Space—hell rank difficulty

The dungeon stretched into a vast expanse of marshland, but unlike any marsh Lin Moyu had seen, each marsh glowed with white holy light.

The luminous marshes intertwined, leaving only a narrow winding path between them.

Along the marsh edges, strange vegetation thrived—flowers, grass, and most notably, short, leafless trees no taller than a meter.

The trees’ thick, long branches drooped down, sinking into the glowing marshes, their true length hidden beneath the surface.

“You can’t fly in this dungeon.” Mo Yun warned, “We have to move along the path between the marshes.”

“And watch those short trees; their attacks are a real nuisance. The branches can wrap around you, and once they do, breaking free is almost impossible.”

Lin Moyu frowned, “Is there a flight restriction?”

He couldn’t sense any force preventing him from taking off.

Mo Yun shook her head, “There’s no flight restriction. But the moment you try to fly, the marshes will attack. The holy light is devastating and unavoidable.”

Lin Moyu’s eyes lit with curiosity, “Let’s test that.”

He unfurled his Lightning Deathwings and launched into the air.

The moment his feet left the ground, a beam of white holy light slammed into him.

His Bone Armor flared, blocking the blow.

From the nearest marsh, the beam poured out like a relentless searchlight, tracking his every move.

Its strength alone was almost negligible, something Lin Moyu could ignore.

He rose higher, but the beam followed in perfect sync, offering no escape.

At ten meters up, three more beams lanced toward him.

Four marshes now targeted him at once, their combined force not merely quadrupled, but multiplied more than tenfold.

His Bone Armor groaned under the pressure, cracks threatening to form.

Lin Moyu dropped back to the ground. The instant his boots touched earth, the attacks ceased.

“That’s… odd.” He muttered.

Mo Yun nodded, “The more marshes that lock on, the more their power multiplies. That’s why we can’t fly here.” 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

Lin Moyu could handle it. Mo Yun, however, could not.

“In that case, we fight through on foot.”
