Within the soul world, Lin Moyu saw a bizarre creature.

The figure was slender, its body constantly writhing.

More than a dozen pairs of appendages covered its body, resembling the legs of an insect. The sight alone was revolting.

“Lin Moyu, you didn't expect this, did you? I've entered your soul world.”

“Your strength far surpasses that useless trash Jiang Yi. I've decided. I’ll devour your soul.”

“Your power, your skills, everything you have will…”

His voice abruptly cut off.

For the first time in his life, he had seen such a lively soul world.

Two godheads, two god slots, a mythical-grade scepter, and a legendary-grade scepter.

Lin Moyu’s soul itself looked fairly normal, but what was that Nine-Colored Divine Dragon outside it?

And why was the soul holding two towers? One was legendary-grade, while the other was unmistakably the Thunderclap Tower’s outer tower.

Beyond that, five skill star cores shone like stars in the sky.

The moment Jiang Yi saw the five skill star cores, panic crept into his heart.

Two of those skill star cores were special. They spun at such a speed that it felt as though they were trying to drag his soul into them.

Jiang Yi trembled violently.

A terrible realization dawned on him: he had made a terrible mistake.

This was not a place he should have entered.

Lin Moyu’s soul opened its eyes, and his voice echoed through the entire soul world like rolling thunder, “So this is your true form?”

Inside his own soul world, Lin Moyu was god.

Now that Jiang Yi had entered, he wasn’t leaving.

The gate of the soul world had already slammed shut. Even if Jiang Yi tried to flee, it would be too late.

Jiang Yi’s body shook uncontrollably, swaying limply like a noodle, “Your soul… how can it be this powerful?”

Lin Moyu sneered, “You thought that since I’m only level 77, my soul rank should be around the same level?”

Jiang Yi muttered, “Is it not?”

It was common knowledge, something every God-level being understood.

But Lin Moyu completely defied common sense.

A level 77 class user possessing a soul that was infinitely close to level 93.

That shouldn’t be possible… or perhaps not.

A sudden realization struck Jiang Yi, and he blurted out, “You’re not from this world. You also came from beyond.”

Lin Moyu froze for a brief moment. A flicker of surprise passed through his eyes.

After two seconds of silence, he spoke in a heavy tone, “How did you know?”

Jiang Yi chuckled, “So I was right. Tell me, what race are you?”

Lin Moyu sneered, “And why should I tell you? You’re nothing more than a failure of the Soulkind. What right do you have to question me?”

Jiang Yi suddenly burst into laughter, “I may be a failure, but I’m still part of the Soulkind. You should understand the consequences of killing me.”

Lin Moyu’s expression darkened as he stared at him.

Jiang Yi remained calm and confident, as if he truly had nothing to fear.

After a few seconds, Lin Moyu let out a quiet sigh, “Killing you would indeed be troublesome. However… imprisoning you is another matter. I can trap you forever, ensuring you never leave.”

“I’ll lock you inside the Godslaying Fortress, where you’ll be struck by Godslaying Lightning every single day. I’ll torture you slowly.”

"Don’t worry. I’ll adjust the power carefully so you won’t die.”

As he spoke, Lin Moyu raised the Thunderclap Tower’s outer tower.

Purple lightning crackled across its surface, illuminating the soul world with violent flashes.

Lin Moyu’s gaze grew colder, tinged with unmistakable bloodlust.

Jiang Yi’s composure instantly shattered, and he screamed, “You can’t imprison me. I’d rather kill myself.”

Lin Moyu replied, “Then go ahead.”

“You…!” Jiang Yi was speechless.

Even ants clung to life, let alone a Soulkind powerhouse.

If there was even a chance to survive, Jiang Yi would never choose death.

Lin Moyu thought for a moment before speaking, “It’s not impossible for me to let you go. But you must agree to a few conditions.”

Hope flickered in Jiang Yi’s eyes, “What conditions?”

Lin Moyu spoke slowly, “First, you must never again treat the humans as your enemy.”

Jiang Yi nodded immediately, “Once I’m free, I’ll go to the Abyss or the Dragonkind World. I guarantee I will never appear in the Human World again.”

“Second, I know you want to become world lord and turn imperishable. I want that too. But during my infiltration, something went wrong. I fell into a slumber for many years. Now that I’ve awakened, my memories are fragmented.”

As he spoke, Lin Moyu stared intently at Jiang Yi, observing every subtle change in his expression.

He feared that a careless word might arouse suspicion.

In Jiang Yi’s eyes, however, the gaze merely looked like cautious vigilance.

Jiang Yi said, “Every race has its own methods. The way of my race won’t work for you.”

Lin Moyu nodded, “Fair enough. Then tell me, if you reached Transcended God-level, what would you do next? I’ll use it as a reference.”

Jiang Yi replied, “After becoming a Transcendent God, one would naturally seek a way to obtain the world…”

Suddenly, he trailed off. Then he shouted, “You tricked me!”

“You’re not from beyond this world at all. You’re a native of this world!”

“You tricked me! You actually dared to trick me!”

Lin Moyu had no idea where he had slipped up, but his expression remained calm, “You’re mistaken. If I were native to this world, how could I possess such a powerful soul?”

“I still remember that in the world beyond, my realm should have been True God.”

Jiang Yi suddenly burst into laughter, “You slipped again! A True God cannot descend into this world—the rules forbid it!”

Lin Moyu realized he had misspoken once more.

He knew too little about the world beyond and had been relying mostly on guesses.

Mistakes were inevitable.

Since the pretense had already collapsed, he asked in a deep voice, “How did you know I was lying?”

Jiang Yi laughed wildly, “Stopped pretending? Good. You don’t understand the world beyond at all.”

“But I won’t tell you where you slipped up. Unless you release me, you can forget about knowing.”

For the first time since their confrontation began, Jiang Yi held the upper hand, and he looked extremely pleased with himself.

Watching him descend into madness again, Lin Moyu said calmly, “It must have been this that exposed me.”

His soul-form reached out and lightly touched the Nine-Colored Dragon Soul Crystal.

The Nine-Colored Dragon Soul Crystal was a supreme treasure of the Dragon race.

Since Jiang Yi came from the world beyond, he would certainly recognize it. And he would also know that the Dragons would never casually give such a treasure away.

The fact that Lin Moyu possessed it revealed his connection with Antares.

Anyone on good terms with Antares could never be from the world beyond.

Lin Moyu also remembered the slightly strange tone Antares had used when speaking about Jiang Yi.

Antares clearly knew the truth but had chosen not to say it.

More importantly, for a full second earlier, Jiang Yi had stared at the crystal.

Though it lasted only a second and was well disguised, Lin Moyu had noticed it.

Even now, while laughing madly and refusing to explain, Jiang Yi’s gaze still flickered toward the crystal from time to time.

Every detail pointed to the same conclusion.

Jiang Yi’s laughter abruptly stopped. Shock filled his face.

He hadn’t said a single word, yet his reaction had already confirmed Lin Moyu’s guess.

Lin Moyu knew he wouldn’t obtain any more information.

“In that case, you can die now.”

The Thunderclap Tower shone with purple light, and purple Godslaying Lightning crashed down upon Jiang Yi’s soul.
