The world around Grey shifted as he appeared before a massive lock suspended beyond the sky.

It was the same scene he had witnessed during his second metamorphosis: a colossal barrier preventing him from making a qualitative leap in existence to reach new heights of power.

"This is just the beginning." Grey smiled as Nexus Energy stirred within his elixir fields.

His body flickered, and a universe-like texture abruptly coated his entire form as Domain Force surged. in the following moment, Nexus Overclock patterns emerged across his body, and the Lesser Heaven rings within his Q-shaped saintly eyes shone brightly as he gazed at the barrier.

The world flashed red as the Law of Chaos converged around Grey’s fists.

Sword energy burst forth like the awakening of a dragon, and the Primordial Human Transformation activated at full force, a purple aura dancing around his figure. The thin barrier began to shudder at the power unleashed by Grey.

Grey’s figure split like a phantom. He shot forward with zero wasted energy, no delay in the deliverance of force. Everything was calibrated and adjusted to perfection as the Projection Frame pushed him forward without any external interference.

Within seconds, he was right before the genetic barrier.

"Looks like ’It’ isn’t aware of this." The Fragment heaved a sigh of relief.

"This presence..." Modred’s eyes shot wide in disbelief and bewilderment. "The Heavenly Dao has descended into this tiny plane of existence?"

He was shaken.

The descent of the Heavenly Dao meant one thing: something had broken the natural threshold of balance and reached a level higher than the laws allowed. The Heavenly Dao had descended to both test the intruder and restore the balance of the world.

Just as quickly, his heart went cold. A deadly chill ran down his spine as the silver-purple brilliance that shot through the sky halted. The world abruptly turned black and white, as if erased of its color.

Every being on the Azure Origin Planet saw the same vision simultaneously.

In the world of black and white stood a man adorned in purple brilliance. Draconic wings erupted from behind him, and two halos hovered above his head as he stared at the churning heavens above.

"With one reaching the threshold of each rank, the Heavens will come down to test and renew the balance of the world. My path utilizes the Heavenly Tribulation, which others view as a test, to grow stronger."

Tribulation energy crackled across Grey’s body as a sword materialized in his hands.

Domain Force surged into the blade, amplifying it to a terrifying degree.

The following instant, the world fell into complete silence. The fierce beasts in the wilderness, the babies crying in their mothers’ arms, and nature itself paused. Then, a divine light tore through the sky like a sword of judgment, striking down on Grey with fierce intensity.

Grey’s hands moved. The sword in his grip shot forward. Immediately, the divine lightning and the sword collided. Sparks sprayed everywhere, but through the sword, tribulation power came crashing down into Grey’s body.

His three Nexus Aspects—the Golden Core, the Golden Sea of Consciousness, and the Golden Tao Bone—all erupted with heated intensity, stirring uncontrollably as the tribulation power invaded.

At the same time, the Nexus Energy within him began to act out violently against the foreign tribulation. But Grey held it in this time. His goal wasn’t to disperse the tribulation but to forge a stronger, more resilient, and stable level of energy and body. He would use this to break through the 1st Tribulation Realm: the Foundation Tribulation.

The tribulation rang through his entire body, eventually spilling into his three Nexus Aspects. The instant the power emerged within them, they went completely out of control.

Psionic energy, Qi, and Blood within Grey’s body began to riot, no longer working in unison.

Grey immediately gritted his teeth. The instability wrecked havoc within his body, but just as quickly, another bolt of divine lightning crashed down.

The magnetic field of the entire Azure Origin Planet shifted rapidly. The land began to part and shoot into the air like floating islands, forever changing the planet’s structure as the divine lightning crashed down.

However, Grey persisted. His body was forged to new heights with the power of the Dao of Rebirth, and the Unending Transformation continued to regenerate him rapidly. The Unending Transformation was Grey’s greatest advantage. Each tribulation bolt wrecked havoc inside his body, but he just came back, regenerating instantly. The Life Cycle Imprint further increased the effects.

"Just a bit more." Grey grinned at the air like a madman.

The Nexus Aspects had already been destroyed and recreated many times. Then, a special power erupted.

The Nexus Aspects shone with brilliance as a mysterious force joined with them. The instant Grey felt it, he grinned.

It was done.

The process was complete!

He had broken through.

A smile beamed on his face as he slowed looked up.

"The power coming from it... it’s almost at the 10th level of the 4th Rank."

[Projection Frame] activated. His figure shot toward the sky without a change to the external world. Time resumed as his figure shone brightly, like a shooting star ascending back into the starry void.

Domain Force exploded with immense power as the sword thrust forward. Multi-colored starlight shot out from the sword, mixed with sword energy. The clouds that had covered almost the entirety of the Azure Origin Planet dispersed.

A terrifying shockwave erupted from Grey, flattening the mountains below and causing the nearby ocean to rise like a tsunami. The Abyssal beings and the natives of the Azure Origin Planet stared at the sky in pure disbelief.
