Three days swiftly passed by. Right now, a dense light was shooting straight into the sky from the Everhart mansion, stirring the entire floating city in its wake.

Seeing this, Jackie Everhart and the ancestor descended with looks of panic.

"Is my daughter waking up?"

They were genuinely scared. She was a strong 5th Ranker. Wouldn’t she accidentally destroy the planet if she didn’t control her new powers?

They already knew exactly what a 5th Ranker was capable of from observing Grey. However, they were completely powerless in front of this absolute power.

"Do not worry." Just then, an assuring voice came from the side.

"Lord Grey." The ancestor and Jackie immediately turned their heads.

Grey was casually standing there in the void. He wore a simple t-shirt, short pants, and sunglasses, with his white hair tied into a neat ponytail and a colorful mocktail resting in his hand.

"Leave it to me, folks. I have over one million power in Lord of Gam... cough... I mean, I can easily handle a 5th Ranker."

"Okay, everyone disperse," Grey said as he casually formed a hand seal.

Immediately, Grey stabilized the surrounding space and directly pulled Valeria into the second layer of space.

Boom!

Dense, fiery energy shot from Valeria as phoenix avatars and vibrant flames formed in the sky of the second layer.

It was like grand fireworks lighting up the sky. Grey stood there in the void, calmly sipping on his drink while thoroughly enjoying the spectacular view.

He looked no different from a relaxed tourist on a small island, sipping on a tropical drink while observing the special fireworks display that was promised in his vacation package.

The light finally dispersed, and soon, a girl stood in the void. She was bare at first, but a profound fiery power erupted from her skin, and an elegant, flaming robe instantly manifested to cover her figure.

Valeria slowly opened her eyes.

She looked around her in utter confusion.

She looked up, down, left, and right. Eventually, her eyes settled on a familiar figure standing not too far away from her.

Seeing the person, her eyes widened in shock.

"Greetings, my Miss Valeria. It looks like you are finally done with your beauty sleep," Grey said with a warm smile slowly forming on his face.

"You..." Valeria stared Grey up and down, her eyes trembling slightly.

If not for the fact that she had harbored a deep crush on the other party for so long, she would have almost failed to recognize him.

He had become incredibly handsome. His frame had transformed into a more muscular yet perfectly lean physique. Coupled with his striking new white hair, he looked incredibly charming. Even the faint aura of power surrounding him seemed to draw her in completely.

"I am back." Grey’s deep, familiar voice broke the silence.

A soft smile formed on Valeria’s face as she eyed Grey, taking in every detail of his new appearance. She wanted to step forward, to feel if he was truly real after so much time.

Then, a hint of hesitation appeared on her face. Her hands tightly gripped the fiery edges of her clothes, her feet rooted to the spot as if she was afraid she was overstepping her boundaries.

Grey naturally noticed this. He could clearly see the longing mixed with caution in her eyes.

"You do not need to hesitate, my Miss Valeria," Grey said with a soft sigh, his gaze melting into something far gentler than usual. "My arms are always open for you."

Saying that, he stretched his arms out wide, directly inviting her in.

Seeing this, Valeria was completely dumbfounded. Her breath hitched in her throat.

What was happening here?

Why was Grey acting like this? The Grey she knew would probably begin their reunion with the line: "What rank are you at? What sort of power did you get? Let me steal them."

But this gentle warmth was completely beyond her expectations. It made her chest ache in the best way possible.

"I know exactly what you are thinking," Grey said with an amused sigh, seeing her frozen state. "But Lia has already filled me in on everything. She told me how much you..."

However, before he could even finish his words, a fragrant breeze assaulted his senses. Valeria was already in his embrace.

She collided into his chest, her slender arms wrapping tightly around his waist. Grey could feel the slight tremble in her shoulders and the rapid, drumming beat of her heart against his own. Slowly, he lowered his arms, wrapping them securely around her back and pulling her closer. The warmth between them felt incredibly natural.

"Does that mean you will now accompany me at night every day~?" Valeria’s soft, seductive voice drilled into Grey’s ears. Her warm breath brushed against his neck, sending a sudden chill down his spine.

Grey stiffened slightly. As expected of this vixen. As soon as he opened his heart to her and showed a rare moment of softness, she immediately took advantage of the situation.

"Did merging with the Origin Core make you more active, my Miss Valeria?" Grey asked with an awkward cough, trying his best to ignore the way her curves pressed perfectly against his new physique.

Valeria only giggled softly against his chest, her hold on him growing even tighter. "Maybe it did. Are you going to reject me after offering such a warm hug?"

"My Miss Valeria, you might have to wait a few months for that. I am not eighteen yet," Grey said with a bewildered look on his face.

Valeria rolled her eyes hearing this and, without any hesitation, went straight in for a kiss.

Grey was surprised at first, but it soon became a heated battle for dominance. Neither Valeria nor Grey backed down.

After an hour, Valeria eventually pulled away. She was breathing slightly heavily, and an intoxicated expression rested on her flushed face.

"You know, sometimes I genuinely wondered. Were you just completely indifferent to my advances, or were you truly not interested in women at all? But now I have my definitive answer," Valeria said with a highly pleased look on her face.

Grey chuckled dryly hearing this.

"And now that I have my answer, I am never letting you go," Valeria said immediately after. She held tightly onto Grey’s hand and flashed him a playful wink.
