Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven-Chapter 401: Primitive Monkey
"Let’s go back to the Crimson Core Planet," Grey said, glancing at Eterna. "And by the way, did you sense your fragmented consciousness yet?"
Eterna nodded. "I did sense one of my fragments. It is close by, somewhere within a five to six light year distance."
"Alright, we will search for it after learning more about this galaxy. What do you say?" Grey asked.
Eterna had no complaints. Pushing the lingering thoughts of the spatial turbulence to the back of his mind, Grey activated the warp device. The spaceship tore through space and jumped directly toward the Crimson Core Planet.
The instant the planet entered their view, their expressions shifted. Multiple Fifth Rank auras raged across the surface of the Crimson Core Planet, clashing openly in the atmosphere.
Grey did not hesitate. His figure phased straight through the hull of the spaceship, leaving Eterna behind to take control of the vessel as he rushed toward the surface.
Down below, the atmosphere was suffocating. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"You have irreparably fractured our planet’s reputation, Edward!" A middle-aged Fifth Ranker bellowed at Edward and his wife. The veins in his thick neck bulged against the collar of his uniform, giving him the look of a menacing warlord. "You have completely tarnished the honor of our royal house!"
The older man standing at the center of the hall sneered with pure disgust. This was Edward Richard I, the founding patriarch of the Richard family and the true ruler of the Crimson Core Planet.
"To think you would lose to some primitive monkeys from a backwater planet!" The ancestor pointed a trembling finger at Edward the III. "We received the bloodline evolutionary path from the Daoye Palace and spread it across the cosmos! Our family carries the rare bloodline of the Space-devouring Kun. Even a fraction of that power placed us at the top of the food chain and gave us unique abilities!"
The ancestor took a heavy step forward, his aura pressing down on the room. "You were the last user of that bloodline, Edward. It was a divine gift bestowed upon us by the Daoye Palace. I placed all my expectations on your shoulders, and you return in failure! You are a disgrace to the Richard family!"
Not far from the raging patriarch, the fragment stood firm. It positioned itself defensively beside Bai Yue, Valeria, and Werner to shield them from the oppressive auras.
"What is the meaning of this, Edward Richard the III?" the fragment spoke up, its voice tight. "I believe Grey made everything clear before he left."
Patriarch Edward Richard I turned his piercing gaze toward the fragment and the humans behind it.
"Hmph! You mongrels from that primitive planet called Blue Star." The ancestor’s eyes went cold. "An expert of the Daoye Palace had already foreseen that your world would one day reveal itself to the cosmos. I was tasked with detaining all the strong experts from your planet the moment you appeared."
The ancestor raised his hand. "Be obedient and cooperate with us!"
He did not wait for an answer. The founding patriarch suddenly launched a ruthless attack directly at the fragment. A terrifying, special energy surged out from his body. It was the legendary origin force, a devastating power born directly from an origin core.
Sensing the lethal threat, the fragment stirred violently, and its figure rapidly enlarged to meet the incoming strike.
Edward Richard the III watched the scene unfold with a deathly pale face. He reached out, his trembling fingers tightly grasping his wife’s hands.
It was over. The ancestor had taken the initiative to attack, completely ignoring Edward’s desperate warnings. The Crimson Core Planet was now effectively doomed, destined to be erased by a godlike being.
The Daoye Palace had always been the true ruling force in the shadows, and the ancestor followed their decrees without missing a single beat. Edward finally understood. The ancestor had been perfectly calm until he heard the words "Blue Star." The secret deal with the Daoye Palace had triggered this sudden, violent temperament. If Edward had known about this hidden bounty, he would never have brought the Blue Star natives here.
Now, his entire home world was going to pay the price.
Just as despair threatened to swallow Edward whole, the temperature across the entire planet plummeted. A voice, utterly devoid of emotion, drilled straight through the atmosphere and into the minds of every living creature on the Crimson Core Planet.
"Primitive monkeys, you say?"
The voice was not loud, yet it resonated in the souls of over a hundred thousand Fourth Rank experts and billions of ordinary citizens alike.
Hearing that familiar tone, Bai Yue, Valeria, and Werner instantly heaved heavy sighs of relief. The suffocating pressure vanished.
BOOM!
A terrifying, world-ending pressure erupted from outer space. It did not just crash down; it obliterated the very laws of the planet. The majestic, unstoppable origin force attack launched by Edward Richard I shattered like fragile glass before it could even reach the fragment.
The Founding Patriarch, a supreme Fifth Rank existence, did not even have the chance to process what happened. The sheer weight of the descending aura slammed him face-first into the reinforced ground, cratering the floor of the grand hall.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
The rhythmic sound of unhurried footsteps echoed through the silent, dust-filled hall. Struggling to lift his head, the ancestor saw a teenager in casual clothing walking out of the settling debris.
"Aren’t you the primitive monkey here?" Grey stopped right next to the fallen patriarch. "My Planet’s technology is superior to yours. Just saying."
He reached down and casually tapped the man’s shoulder.
Instantly, a blood-curdling shriek tore from the ancestor’s throat. "Arghhhhh!"
Grey had ruthlessly injected pure sword energy and the light of destruction from the Chaos Law directly into the man’s Origin Core. The profound energies began to violently desynchronize the ancestor’s cultivation base. The core was continuously shredded to pieces, only to be forcefully regenerated at the exact same speed just to be destroyed all over again.
"Look at yourself," Grey chuckled softly, looking down at the writhing ruler. "You are screaming like a dying pig. Are you really the supreme ancestor of this planet?"
"Y-You... please stop!" Tears and snot streamed down the ancestor’s face. The excruciating cycle of his Origin Core tearing and healing pushed his mind to the brink of collapse. The majority of the abilities Grey possessed were terrifyingly efficient at inflicting maximum torture, and not even a Fifth Rank being could endure it.
"Nuh uh." Grey casually wagged his forefinger side to side.
"This loop will not stop until you formally kneel before the fragment, Bai Yue, Valeria, and Werner. You will apologize to them for the trauma you caused by terrorizing peaceful visitors from a faraway planet."
Grey crouched down, a wide, playful grin spreading across his face.
"And right after that, you are going to put on a demonstration. I will set up a livestream broadcasting across the entire Crimson Core Planet, and you are going to show billions of people exactly how a primitive monkey acts."
