The Argento Kingdom is not as powerful as it was in the past. The current royal family now has fractured its trust with each other when trust should be the foundation of all vampire hunters. Since vampires can easily masquerade as humans, vampire hunters must learn absolute loyalty to those that fight with them.

The Argento Kingdom has fallen quite a bit, but it still retained some of its power because of the solid foundations of the royalty of old. Now that the royal family got reduced by half by the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha upon her awakening, the Argento royal family could barely keep their kingdom in check as a lot of key individuals died.

"Do not repeat myself, slave. Use your brain instead of just kidnapping them. Promise them a job with high pay in a city outside and then abduct them in the forest. Must I really think of everything here!" The Crazed Blood Queen Bathory stated.

"What do you think that insufferable queen said to me? She even sliced off my arm for saying that we might be discovered by the knights above. I tried telling her that we can no longer abduct maidens for her recreational baths, but she did not listen. She wants us to lure maidens using promises of high paying jobs and money. Can you convince her then, Kov?" Tryapka stated.

"If you really despise her so much then why are you still here and serving her?" Kov asked.

"That bitch is keeping me on a leash with forbidden magic because she created me using her blood. She even did this to my beautiful face and said that she would torture me for centuries if I even dared to regenerate it back to normal." Tryapka stated while seething with anger.

"Did you even offend, the queen?" Kov asked.

"How would I even offend that bitch when I did not even know her when I was human. If I was not blinded by rage when my fiancée died, then I would not have accepted her offer. The only reason that I am not dead yet because I am bound to her and I cannot die if she is still alive. I am directly created from her blood after all. What about you? Why are you following that maniac? You were not created from her blood like some of us." Tryapka stated.

"I was sent here by the Blood Queen Akasha to watch over her. Due to the sudden collusion of all the vampire families against us, the Blood Queen Akasha told me to make sure that your family does not step out of line. The Blood Queen Akasha does not want us to be exposed for now as we need to build up strength seeing that the others that she awakened were all killed." Kov stated.

"I thought I already had my freedom when that bitch was sealed away. If only your damned queen did not unseal her." Tryapka stated but Kov suddenly snatched her by the neck.

"Do not talk ill of the one true Blood Queen." Kov stated as his muscles suddenly expanded and enlarged as she was choking Tryapka.

"You want to fight!" Tryapka stated as numerous thin threads made of blood could be seen ready to cut off Kov’s arm.

"Apologies as I was merely upset of how you cursed at my beloved queen." Kov stated as he let go of Tryapka.

"Big body but could not even handle a frail woman like me. No wonder you are not the top pick in the harem." Tryapka stated but Kov could only be seen to look at her with sharp eyes.

"I will say that you are only stressed because of the unreasonable demands you were given. I will pardon what you have said against me since you did not speak ill of my queen." Kov stated.

"Whatever. How am I even going to get money when we spent almost all of it in buying some of those maidens for her recreational bath?" Tryapka muttered.

"Just entice a merchant with immortality. You are a direct sire from Queen Bathory which means you can create vampires safely at least once. Use it for your direct benefit." Kov stated as the first sire of a direct sire of a blood queen will not experience any rejection.
