Chapter 54: Humiliation should be her cup of tea

Mr. Black seemed to enjoy the discussion.

Everyone present was shocked to see him chuckling lightly while speaking with Lena. It was a rare sight. The old man hardly ever laughed, yet here he was, visibly entertained.

"Well, young woman, aren’t you an interesting one?" Grandpa Black finally said as their discussion came to a natural pause.

Lena lowered her gaze respectfully.

"But as interesting as you are," he continued, his tone turning firm again, "it does not change the fact that you waltzed into a family dinner without an invitation. This is the Black family. I value order more than anything else."

The air grew heavy once more.

"Raymond is already engaged and will soon be married. If you are with him for benefits, then don’t worry. Come to me, and I will give you enough. More than enough. So you can stop inserting yourself into his relationship with Cynthia."

The humiliation in his words struck Lena like a slap.

She was stunned into silence. Shame slowly enveloped her, creeping up her neck and burning her cheeks.

"Grandpa, stop talking to her like that," Raymond said sharply, his voice losing its lazy amusement for the first time.

"Raymond," his grandfather replied calmly, "I like her. But that does not mean I want her for you."

The words were blunt and final.

"If you continue on this path, I will be forced to take action. You have insulted Cynthia not once but twice. She is the daughter of the Moore family, the second most powerful family after ours in all of Vegas City. The benefits she brings to this house, can your Lena bring the same?"

"Grandpa, is everything about money to you?" Raymond asked, his jaw tightening. "What about what she did to me? Does that not matter to you?"

"It does," the old man answered evenly. "But she said she never did any of the things you accused her of. So why hold on to the past when we can all flourish together?"

Raymond laughed bitterly.

"Grandpa, what if I say I can get you what you want? Will you stop pushing me toward Cynthia?"

Mr. Black leaned back slightly. "I would say—get me what I want first. Then we can talk about what to do next."

"So no definite answer," Raymond concluded. "If I understand you correctly, no matter the angle I take, you will always end up choosing my bride for me."

His grandfather nodded without hesitation.

"There will be an auction tomorrow evening," he continued. "Take Cynthia with you. Go to the auction so you both can bond."

He then turned to Cynthia.

"Cynthia, make sure you buy anything you want.

It’s on the house."

"Yes, sir," Cynthia responded obediently, her face glowing with happiness. In her heart, she told herself, If you are his woman, I am going to be his wife. So why not have a little patience? A small, satisfied smile tugged at her lips.

She stood up gracefully and walked toward Mr. Black Senior.

"Goodbye, Grandpa," she said sweetly before kissing him lightly on both cheeks.

Lucas immediately stood up. "I’ll see you out," he offered, casting Raymond a pointed look since Raymond made no move to escort her.

Raymond’s eyes burned darkly as he watched them leave the dining room together.

"Grandpa, we will take our leave too," Raymond said coldly.

He stood up and pulled Lena up with him. Lena was too stunned to speak. The old man’s dominance was overwhelming, suffocating even. She simply bowed her head gently in farewell.

Raymond guided her toward the door.

"And Lena," Mr. Black’s deep voice called out before they stepped out.

They both paused.

"I don’t want to ever see you near my family property again."

The warning was clear. Final.

Lena’s fingers tightened slightly around Raymond’s hand, but she said nothing. She only nodded once, swallowing the lump in her throat.

Then she walked out with Raymond, leaving behind a dining hall filled with unresolved tension and a war that was far from over.

Raymond held on to Lena as he walked toward the door. The butler quickly opened it for him, bowing slightly as Raymond stepped out, Lena’s quiet figure held securely in his grasp.

He opened the front passenger door and helped her in gently. After ensuring she was seated properly, he dismissed his driver, instructing him to ride with Sullivan and Cyrus instead. Tonight, he would drive himself.

The engine roared to life, and the car glided smoothly into the night as they left the Black’s mansion.

"You’ve been awfully quiet since we left. Are you alright?" he asked, sparing her a glance before returning his eyes to the road.

Lena ignored the question. She leaned her head against the cool window screen and stared outside, watching the grey night air blur past them.

"After we’re done with your revenge and I’m done setting up my company, we’ll part ways, right?" she asked softly.

"Yes, we will," Raymond replied, his gaze alternating between her face and the road ahead.

"Your grandfather doesn’t want me around. And based on what I realized tonight, it seems your brother and your fiancée had some kind of... strange relationship." She turned to study his expression carefully.

"Yes, you guessed right," Raymond answered, his jaw tightening. "All you need to know is that I don’t want to marry that bitch. My grandfather only cares about the benefits she’ll bring to the family."

His voice was laced with restrained fury. Suddenly, he pulled over at a secluded spot and turned fully to face her.

"I need your help," he said firmly. "I’ll find a way to give my grandfather what he wants. Once I do, he won’t be able to force me into marrying Cynthia."

Lena listened, a dull headache forming at her temples. It surprised her that Raymond’s family carried such complicated problems of their own.

"I want to understand what’s going on," she said seriously, folding her arms across her chest.

"Before I help you, I need to know what I’m getting myself into. At least tell me how far I can go when I meet your family."

Raymond opened his mouth to explain but stopped. The words refused to come. He sighed instead.

"Don’t worry about the details," he muttered. "All you need to know is that I want to humiliate Cynthia in the best way possible—and that’s where you come in. I want you bold. You have my money at your disposal. Let the whole of Vegas City run wild and talk. And my family only my grandfather is important"

He smiled faintly. "When I saw you walk into the dining room like you owned the place, I knew I had chosen right."

Lena smiled sheepishly. "Did I impress you?"

"You did more than impress me," he replied, his voice dropping. "I was captivated by how charming you looked. You captured everyone’s attention with your aura. That’s the woman I want you to be."

His gaze softened. "Can you be that person for me, kitten?"

"Yeah, I can be that and more," Lena said, gripping his tie confidently. "Next time your grandfather insults me, I won’t hold back. I hope you’re ready for my boldness."

Raymond chuckled. "You’ve been given the go-ahead. Just don’t overdo it."

She nodded slowly.

"Do you want to know what else I can do?" she asked, her tone teasing.

Raymond understood immediately and smiled. "I love this new bold side of yours."

Their eyes locked in a heated stare. Lena tugged his tie until their lips hovered inches apart. Raymond’s gaze darkened as it fell to her plump red lips. He slid a hand into her hair and pulled her closer.

"I’m not a very patient man," he murmured before capturing her lips.

The kiss lingered, fierce and demanding, both of them fighting for dominance. Lena refused to yield. With trembling urgency, she unbuckled his belt and tossed it aside, her fingers fumbling at his waistband as she tried to reach his length.

Raymond eyes darkening at her plump red lips, he trapped a handful of her hair and pulled her lips close before he locked their lips he told her "I’m not a very patient man" the kiss lingered as they both fight for dominance with Lena refusing to give in, she frantically unbuckled his belt and threw it , she fumbled her hand inside in trouser trying to bring out his membrane.

Raymond’s hand roam around her body as his hands stopped at her boobs, he tried to feel it, but the cloth was obstructing him. he couldn’t take it anymore, he broke the kiss and tried to open the gown but he just couldn’t find the right way to open it, he ended up tearing open her upper part of the gown and her boobs stood bare, nipples erected. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Lena hissed as his lips came crashing on her nipples, he sucked her hard, his hands fondling the other. He raised her up forcefully and her head hit the top of the car.

"Ow, ow, ow!" she cried, clutching her head.

"Are you okay?" Raymond asked immediately, alarm flashing across his face.

Lena burst into laughter despite the sting, taking in their disheveled state.

"Yes, I’m fine," she assured him. Her fingers slid back to his collar, pulling him close again. "Now... where were we?"

Without waiting for his reply, she kissed him deeply once more, reigniting the blazing fire between them.
