"Fleet?" Robin blinked in surprise. "Captain, are you planning to build a force?"
"Yeah, something like that," Mio nodded, his eyes glimmering. "But the specifics will have to wait until we reach the New World."
With that, Mio stopped wasting time and pulled the black cloth away.

A sharp sound echoed as the object was revealed—a heavy cage made entirely of seastone.
Inside the cage was a strange and ferocious creature.
It had antennae like an ant and curved horns, but its body resembled a wolf's—covered in black scale-like fur that gleamed under the light. Its limbs were muscular, tipped with sharp claws, and its fangs were bared as it violently crashed into the seastone bars. Its yellow eyes glowed with wild fury as it howled and roared, repeatedly slamming its body into the cage with relentless rage.

Erica and Lilith leaned forward, inspecting the beast closely with intense curiosity.
"A little fella made from a mix of gene experiments," Mio chuckled.
The creature's base was a cow—chosen for its raw strength and endurance. But layered onto that were the genes of many other animals. This was Vegapunk's masterpiece—a result of genetic engineering pushed to its limits.
Among the fused genes were even some from Erica. With Vegapunk's expert modifications, the genes' full potential had been awakened, but the result was something extremely savage. Though it retained a bit of rationality, it was far from tame.
This was the culmination of a year's worth of research. Vegapunk had earlier iterations, but all of them were scrapped until this final version.

He couldn't contain his amusement. This little beast was powerful. What excited him even more was imagining how far he could push its strength and potential through his own training.
