One Piece: New Order-Chapter 117: Attack on Baterilla
Chapter 117: Attack on Baterilla
As the royal notice spread, the entire kingdom erupted.
That unforgettable hatred, the bloody massacre—it all came flooding back like it had just happened yesterday.
Countless people, eyes red with fury, were determined to erase the bloodline of that butcher: Gol D. Roger.
By the afternoon of the second day after the decree was posted, swarms of people had already boarded ships heading for the South Blue.
Many didn’t even have ships. In a frenzy, they began hijacking every vessel docked at the port.
Merchant ships, pirate ships, even Marine warships—nothing was off limits. One ship after another set sail toward the South Blue, loaded with furious passengers.

Marine Headquarters, Marineford.
Just as Sakazuki got off the ship with the others, he received a message from Carlo.
The right hand of the Pirate King, "Dark King" Rayleigh, had appeared on the Grand Line and was now heading toward Reverse Mountain.
Sakazuki frowned, paused for a few seconds, then called out to Bullet, who had also just disembarked.
He turned and started walking back toward the ship.
"Bullet. We’re heading for the South Blue."
Without a second’s rest after returning, Sakazuki was already on the move again.

That night, inside a prison cell at headquarters, Garp was having a quiet conversation with Roger.
Suddenly, the latter’s expression grew serious.
"Garp. Can you believe this?"
Without waiting for the vice admiral’s answer, he continued, "My child will be born soon. Unfortunately, I won’t be around by then."
Garp’s face hardened. "Why are you telling this to me, a Marine? The child’s mother, and any woman connected to you, will be executed."
Lowering his eyes slightly, Roger stepped closer and grabbed the iron bars with both hands.
"That’s exactly why I’m telling you. The government will definitely investigate every trace of my movements this past year. They’ll find her and then kill her. But... the child is innocent."
His grip on the bars tightened.
"Garp! Our bond was forged through numerous battles. You’re like a comrade to me. I trust you."
Garp scowled and turned his face away.
Roger grinned. "You’ll be the one to protect her."
"Don’t decide that on your own!" Garp snapped, glaring at him.
Roger endured the pain from his illness, smiling as he forced out the words.
"No. You will help me. I leave my child in your hands."
With that, sweating from the pain, he shared the name of the island, the name of his wife, and the suspicion that she was already being watched by the Marines.
Then, exhausted, he collapsed.
Doctors were quickly summoned and Garp left the cell, fists clenched.
He had just stepped outside when he was called into the Fleet Admiral’s office for a meeting.
As he sat down, his thoughts were in turmoil.
Then Sengoku seemed to notice something and said, "Where’s Sakazuki? Didn’t he return with us this afternoon?"
Everyone shook their heads. No one knew where he had gone.
The fleet admiral shot a glance at his second-in-command.
A moment later, the man returned with a report.
"Fleet Admiral, Vice Admiral Sakazuki returned this afternoon, but he left again right after landing. His ship is headed for one of the Four Blues."
Garp’s eyes went wide as he remembered Roger’s warning about being followed.
"This is bad!"
Bang!
He burst through the office doors and sprinted toward the port.

South Blue. Baterilla Island.
As one rickety ship after another docked at the port, the eyes of the passengers burned with rage. Madness twisted their faces.
From the time they boarded, not one of them had slept.
They pulled out the official notice issued by the kingdom, comparing the map printed on it with the harbor and the mountain rising in the distance.
Ragged breathing filled the air.
"This is it, right? This is the place!"
"This is it!"
"Revenge! Revenge!"
"That damn butcher!" ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
"You never thought this day would come, did you?!"
"Hahahahahaha!"
"The blood of evil doesn’t deserve to live!"
"Kill!"
"Charge!"
The crazy people from Kergashi Island raised their weapons and charged toward the distant mountain.
From high above, the scene was terrifying.
Ships flooded in, heading straight for Baterilla.
Crowds poured in from the coast. More followed behind, creating a massive human wave that stretched from the harbor through the town, rushing toward the mountain that now carried the so-called evil bloodline.
The people of Baterilla were horrified as they saw the wild, furious mob.
"Hide! Quick, get inside!"
"Are those pirates?!"
"What’s going on?"
"They don’t look like pirates..."
"They’re heading for that mountain."
"Seriously?"
Some brave souls peeked out to watch the chaos, confused and fearful as the mob charged like animals.

On the mountain, inside a villa, Portgas D. Rouge jolted awake from her nap. Her heart pounded wildly for no reason, a growing sense of dread taking hold.
She took the handkerchief the maid handed her and wiped the sweat from her forehead.
"What’s happening..."
Her chest tightened as the unease swelled stronger and stronger. Then, shouts and screams came from the outside, echoing through the house.
The maid who went out to check rushed in, panic written all over her face.
"Madam! It’s terrible! There are pirates! They’re attacking!"
The people outside, red-eyed and crazed, held all kinds of metal weapons. And to the maid, they could only be pirates.
Rouge jumped to her feet and looked out the window. Her heart sank. Now she understood the reason for her dread.
She took a few deep breaths to steady herself.
Grabbing a few items, she turned to the maid.
"Come on. We’re going out the back."
Not long after, the mob stormed into the courtyard and smashed everything, tearing through the house, but found no one.
Then someone shouted.
"Look!"
A man had found a photo of Roger and Rouge in a drawer, passing the picture around.
"It’s her!"
"This is the place!"
"Find them!"
"They’re around here!"
A few at the rear spotted the two women running just a short distance away.
"Hahahahaha!"
"After them!"
"Kill them!"
The cries of vengeance cut through the air like blades as the horde swarmed like hungry wolves, eyes locked on the two women.
In no time, they were closing in.
Rouge glanced back at the mob chasing them like demons. She fought the panic, desperately trying to think of a way out.
Suddenly, an overwhelming flash of sword light lit up the sky.
Boom!
A slash tore across the earth, carving a deep trench thousands of meters long between Rouge and the raging crowd.
Dressed in black, with golden hair and a steady breath, stood Rayleigh.
He spoke coldly, voice sharp as steel.
"Anyone who crosses this line... dies!"
