Chapter 221 - 221: Lets Turn the World Upside Down Together

"Red-Haired Shanks!"

"Another Yonko...?"

"My god! Are they planning to wipe out the Marines completely?!"

"Whitebeard, Kaido, Red-Haired... and the Wanderer Ron..."

"What in the world is going to happen next...?"

Ordinary people watching through the video Den Den Mushi were left in shock, staring blankly at the scene unfolding on their screens, their emotions surging uncontrollably.

...

World Government Headquarters.

The Five Elders gazed at the screen, their expressions darkening upon seeing Red-Haired Shanks arrive at Marineford.

"Red-Haired..."

Under the eyes of the world, Shanks came to a halt, his sharp gaze sweeping over everyone present, exuding an overwhelming aura of dominance and authority.

His first words were simple yet carried the weight of a storm:

"This war... can it end here?"

Sengoku's eyes narrowed sharply.

Holding his twin swords, Vice Admiral Onigumo immediately shouted in rage, "What did you say?! Are you asking us Marines to stop?!"

"Impossible! Fire Fist Ace and the Whitebeard Pirates must perish here!"

"That's right! We, the Marines, stand for absolute justice! How could we ever lose to pirates?!"

"Are you looking down on us, Red-Haired Shanks?!"

The battle-crazed Marine officers roared defiantly at Shanks, unwilling to accept his words.

But Shanks ignored their protests. His piercing gaze remained locked on Sengoku and Garp. "If this battle continues, then yes, the Whitebeard Pirates and Ace might fall here... but the cost could be the destruction of Marineford itself, along with the rest of your elite forces."

"Sengoku, even if you achieve victory, are you willing to pay such a heavy price for it?"

In his massive golden Buddha form, Sengoku clenched his fists tightly, his jaw set as he wrestled with the weight of Shanks' words.

"Hahaha! Stop the war? Don't make me laugh."

A manic, arrogant voice echoed from the darkness, instantly drawing everyone's attention.

Blackbeard stood within his swirling abyss of darkness, his twisted grin stretching across his face.

"Marines! Whitebeard is already on the verge of death! Once he falls, what threat do the Whitebeard Pirates even pose anymore? Victory is within your grasp!"

"Are you really willing to surrender now? Will you, the so-called champions of justice, bow to Red-Haired Shanks and let the Whitebeard Pirates escape?! Wahaha! Now that would be truly hilarious!"

A dangerous glint flashed in Shanks' eyes as he muttered coldly, "Teach..."

Blackbeard's words stirred unrest among the Marines.

"He's right! We are the Marines! The embodiment of absolute justice! How could we ever surrender to pirates?!"

"We will fight to the death if we must! The Whitebeard Pirates must be eradicated!!"

"We will never surrender!"

"Kill them all!"

...

Many Marine officers, clad in their "Justice" capes, were staunch followers of absolute justice. To them, surrendering to pirates was unthinkable, even at the cost of their own lives. With their eyes burning red with fury, they gripped their weapons tightly, ready to fight until their last breath.

"Hah! On the verge of death?" Whitebeard chuckled, his deep voice reverberating across the battlefield.

Drenched in blood, his massive frame still towered imposingly. Though his chest bore a gaping wound, he remained unyielding, gripping his bisento tightly. His bloodshot eyes locked onto Blackbeard with a murderous gleam.

"If you think you can kill me, Teach... then come and try!"

"Wahahaha! Old man, just die already!" Blackbeard roared, thrusting his palm forward, sending a surge of darkness toward Whitebeard.

But Whitebeard's powerful fist, his muscles bulging, struck forward in defiance. A sphere of seismic energy erupted from his punch, sending waves of destruction rippling through the battlefield, blowing away countless Marines. In an instant, Blackbeard and his crew were sent flying, their expressions twisted in shock.

"Gaaah! So painful! Dammit, it hurts!!"

Midair, Blackbeard coughed up blood, the residual tremors of Whitebeard's attack wreaking havoc inside his body. Yet, beneath his agony, his eyes gleamed with insatiable greed.

"As expected... the Tremor-Tremor Fruit is truly powerful!"

"I must have it!"

As Whitebeard and Blackbeard clashed, another battle was unfolding.

In the massive crater where Kaido had been struck down, the monstrous Yonko now emerged. Shifting back into his human form, he slung his massive kanabo over his shoulder, his body radiating an overwhelming sense of dominance.

As he strode forward, the surrounding Marines instinctively recoiled in fear, their faces pale with terror.

He turned his gaze toward Shanks and smirked.

"Well, it seems your reputation isn't enough to stop this war, Red-Haired."

Red-Haired Shanks stared coldly at Kaido. "Kaido, are you still going to interfere?"

"Of course! Do you even need to ask?"

Kaido grinned wildly. "I came all the way from Wano just for this! A battle of this scale—how can I not turn the world upside down?!"

Shanks narrowed his eyes slightly and slowly drew the longsword "Gryphon" from his waist with his only remaining right arm.

In an instant, an overwhelming and terrifying wave of Conqueror's Haki burst forth from him, spreading across all of Marineford and even reaching many nautical miles beyond.

The sheer force of his Haki made it feel as though time itself had slowed down. Even the battle-hardened pirates of the Whitebeard Pirates and the most elite Marines, veterans of countless wars, found their consciousness slipping away under the intense pressure.

The sky itself split open, revealing a massive rift in the dark clouds, while deep cracks spread across the battlefield.

The power of will alone was distorting reality—an utterly terrifying feat.

Whitebeard turned his head.

"This Haki... it's even stronger than before, isn't it, Red-Haired?"

Blackbeard, staring at Shanks, felt a cold bead of sweat trickle down his forehead.

Sengoku clenched his teeth, his eyes fixed on Shanks.

Between Kaido and Shanks, it was Shanks who made him even more wary.

"A high-level application of Conqueror's Haki in its third stage..."

Hovering in the air, Ron felt the weight of that Haki and smiled. "As expected of the most dominant man in the world."

If Ron's Conqueror's Haki was at level 7, then Shanks' was at level 9.

Under the stunned gazes of both the elite Marines and the Whitebeard Pirates,

Shanks fully unsheathed Gryphon with his right arm, his voice commanding and absolute:

"If anyone still wants this war to continue—then fight us instead."

The battlefield fell into absolute silence.

If someone else had uttered such words before the Marines and the Whitebeard Pirates, they would have been laughed at.

But coming from one of the Four Emperors, Red-Haired Shanks, those words carried immeasurable weight.

Even the Marines, the rulers of the seas, had to hesitate.

At that moment—

Everyone in Marineford ceased fighting, turning their eyes toward the lone, sword-wielding Shanks, radiating unparalleled dominance, and the crew standing behind him—Ben Beckman with his silver rifle raised, along with the other Red-Haired Pirates, lifting their weapons in silent, unyielding defiance.

The sheer presence they exuded was even more oppressive than Whitebeard's First Division.

"Shanks, are you choosing to stand on Whitebeard's side?"

Sengoku fixed his gaze on him.

"No," Shanks replied calmly. "I don't stand with anyone. I'm only here to put an end to this war."

Sengoku gritted his teeth and roared, "We can't just end it like this!"

"That's right! The real war is just about to begin—how can it stop now?"

Kaido laughed maniacally. "Shanks, why don't you join in? Let's destroy Marineford completely! Wipe out these annoying Marines and turn the whole world upside down!"
