One-Shot Transmigration: Sorry I'm Here To Ruin Your Happy Ever After-Chapter 134
Min-jae’s fingers curled into the sheets.
"That’s not happening..." he said flatly.
Meical turned to him at once. "What is not happening."
"That.." Min-jae repeated, finally lifting his head. His eyes were sharp now, no trace of the earlier daze left. "You finding a partner. Absolutely not."
For a moment, Meical simply stared at him, then a low sound left his chest, halfway between a laugh and a growl. "I had no intention of doing so."
Min-jae blinked. "You didn’t."
"No." Meical stepped closer, placing a hand firmly over Min-jae’s stomach again, possessive and certain. "If there is a rut, then it concerns us. You are my spouse. There is no ’other partner’ in this matter."
Min-jae let out a breath he did not realize he was holding. "Good. Because I was about to fight someone."
Meical arched a brow. "In your current condition."
"I would have found a way."
That earned a quiet chuckle. Meical softened, thumb brushing slowly against Min-jae’s side. "Yura speaks bluntly and assumes too much. A rut does not mean betrayal. It means heightened instincts. If anything, it means I will need even more restraint."
Min-jae frowned. "That does not sound reassuring."
"It is meant to be.." Meical replied calmly. "You and the children come first. Always."
The words settled heavily in Min-jae’s chest. He looked down again, hand resting where Meical’s was, overlapping it. "So... heat, rut, pheromones, secondary genders. All of this just got dumped on me in one night."
Meical nodded. "And you are allowed to be overwhelmed."
Min-jae huffed. "Generous of you."
Silence stretched for a moment, then Min-jae spoke again, quieter. "So I’m an omega now."
"Yes."
"And you’re an alpha."
"Yes."
"And we’re having children."
"Yes."
Min-jae leaned back against the pillows, staring at the ceiling. "This is insane."
The author of this novel was insane!
Meical’s lips curved faintly. "You say that as if it surprises you."
"...Fair enough, but it something that caught me off guard, we’re having children and the physician said it’s more than one.."
Meical leaned next to him. He found everything happening to be confusing but with Georgiana’s explanation it made some sort of sense.
But he still had some questions, how did it happen and how did she know so much about these alphas and omegas.
Another pause followed, this one heavier but calmer. Min-jae turned his head, looking at Meical properly. "Are you really okay with this?"
Meical met his gaze without hesitation. "I am more than okay. I am relieved. Your fever has an explanation. Your condition can be managed. And you are alive, here, with me."
Min-jae’s throat tightened. "You’re not... disappointed."
"Never," Meical said immediately. "If anything, I am furious at the idea that you thought I might be."
Min-jae sighed, and then got out of the bed. He had been bedridden for days and didn’t feel like sitting around again.
"Let’s go and see Vanadis. Georgina also said he was sick. I guess his fever was shorter than mine because he wasn’t pregnant.."
Min-jae paused, if he had gotten a fever due to his transitioning, what affect did turning into an Alpha have on Meical?
"Didn’t you feel off, maybe fatigue or slight fever?"
Meical shook his head, he only felt energetic.
This also explained why his cock had gotten bigger and his physique had changed a bit.
"I did feel strangely energetic, and if you haven’t noticed, I may be a little taller.."
Min-jae studied him and nodded in agreement, Meical was right, he indeed had little changes of his own.
"My cock also increased in size..."
-_-
Min-jae tsked, what was such an alpha thing to say.
"Whatever, what’s so special about having a bigger dick.."
Min-jae tsked again, if he was an Omega then he definitely didn’t get an increase, he would be lucky if he didn’t get a decrease.
He was sure his waist for even slimer than Yura’s now.
My hot bod is gone.
Meical helped Min-jae wear his slippers even though Min-jae could wear them himself, he was only a few weeks pregnant.
His body still felt normal.
"I can still do things myself. You won’t be with me every second of the day, so let me do the things I can do.."
Meical chuckled, nodding as they walked out of the room.
"I understand that. I will try not to coddle you."
Min-jae nodded, he was only a few weeks in, he could still do his thing normally.
Min-jae did feel a bit dizzy, walking down the stairs and asked Meical to give him his hands for support.
"Tired already? Should I carry you back to the room?"
Min-jae shook his head, it was already started to smell like a sickness in there and he didn’t like it.
"No, though I’m feeling a little dizzy I want to walk around and get some fresh air."
Meical nodded and helped him down the stairs, still holding his hand until Min-jae said it was okay to let go.
"Where is Vanadis? Is he already up and about? And someone find Punz for me."
She’s barely getting any screen time and anytime he saw her, she had gained an extra pound.
Min-jae had three plans, now that he was all better.
First was to start his perfume shop properly, second was to reform the Amagi household, now that Veynar and Dorian was dead, some rules needed to be changed.
He was practically the head of the house now.
And finally, his lands in the North. He needed to start building, he needed to start other businesses, and he didn’t to start a prep school for women.
He had many things to do and now he was even pregnant.
He doubt Meical would let him leave as he please.
"After we see Vanadis, I’d like to have an important discussion with you. We should have had this conversation but I fell sick and slot has happened before then. So let’s have the talk now.."
-_-
Meical froze, stilling completely.
Was Kaizar planning on leaving him?
He wasn’t ready.
He wasn’t ready at all.
"Kaizar...what are you saying...you can’t leave me yet.."
-_-
Min-jae raised a brow, what was Meical talking about?
He tsked as he raised a hand to flick Meical’s forehead.
"What are hell are you talking about? I said we’re having a discussion, I didn’t say I was leaving, where did you get that idea from?"
-_-
"W-well."
"I’m already in love with you and I’m also pregnant. Where exactly am I leaving to?"
Min-jae’s words landed solidly.
Meical stared at him for a second longer, then exhaled, slow and shaky, like someone who had just realized the floor beneath him was still there.
"...You are too cruel my darling." Meical said quietly.
Min-jae scoffed. "You jumped straight to abandonment. That’s on you."
"I am allowed to worry.." Meical replied stiffly. "Too much has changed in too little time."
Min-jae squished Meical’s cheeks together.
"Don’t be silly. I’m not going anywhere. Don’t let those thoughts get into your head. Or don’t you love me anymore, are you chasing me away.."
-_-
"How can you say that! Of course I love you and I don’t want you to leave."
"Then stop having thoughts of me leaving. If you love me, persuade me to stay.."
Meical stared at him, cheeks still squished between Min-jae’s fingers, looking thoroughly wronged.
"That is not how persuasion works," he said stiffly, words slightly warped.
Min-jae leaned closer, eyes narrowing. "It is if I’m the one being persuaded."
Meical sighed and gently pried Min-jae’s hands away, holding them instead. "I love you. I want you here. I want you safe. I want you annoyed at me for hovering and refusing to let you lift anything heavier than a teacup."
Min-jae blinked. "...You really thought I’d leave."
"Yes," Meical admitted. "You make plans. You move forward. You do not wait for anyone."
Min-jae paused, then clicked his tongue. "That’s fair."
They resumed walking, the tension loosening again.
"So what is this important discussion," Meical asked carefully, as if bracing himself.
Min-jae stopped for a moment, letting Meical walk slightly ahead. He inhaled slowly, gathering his thoughts. "This discussion," he began carefully, "is about what I intend to do now that I’m better and... in charge of several things that can’t be ignored any longer."
Meical’s gaze sharpened. He waited, attentive, letting Min-jae choose his words.
"I have three plans," Min-jae said, looking down the hallway as if seeing them laid out before him.
"First, I need to start my perfume shop properly. I’ve had the ideas, the ingredients, the designs... but it’s never been fully realized. Illness, interruptions... everything kept getting in the way. I want to see it done right, and I want to start it now."
Meical nodded slightly, his expression calm but thoughtful, letting the weight of Min-jae’s words sink in.
