Chapter 101: "Crow Spirit— Get!"

Late at night, when even the nocturnal spirits were returning to their nests to sleep, three sneaky figures trudged all the way to the Volcano Mountain.

The moment the three figures stepped foot into the volcano mountain, the heat rushed to their faces, forcing them to sweat.

"Ughhh....I’m...dying..."

Castra felt that his body was about to melt.

Did nobody here remember that he’s a patient??

But he also wanted to come and teach the bird a lesson...

Castra had no choice but to endure the pain and walked up the blazing hot volcano.

He only hoped that his 2-star luck wouldn’t give them bad luck...

But Castra’s wish didn’t come true.

One second, the volcano mountain shook, and the next second, hot storms suddenly passed by the three spirits’ places, tormenting them with fire thunder and fireball rain!

"Ah! Ah! Ah! What is this— doomsday??"

Castra ran around while clutching his broken ribs, his legs so weak that he tripped several times and almost dived straight into the magma river!

The other two spirits, especially Lady Fera who was an ice element spirit, also looked uncomfortable.

"Meow, meow! We should just blow the mountain away!"

"Awooo. Wait. I’ll freeze the damn river and the entire mountain first."

True to her words, Lady Fera froze the bubbling hot magma and then froze the fireballs rain, instantly plummeting the temperature around.

The magma flowing down the mountain quickly cooled, trapped under a layer of ice that didn’t melt.

Garfin waved his paws and the distant volcano was actually uprooted from the ground!

Then, a fierce gale swept through, shaking the mountain so hard that the debris flew out everywhere, almost hitting Castra straight to death.

"Ah! Wait! Wait! Friendly fire! Friendly fire! Be careful— cough! Cough!"

The half-mute Castra coughed his lungs out and almost fainted from all of this mess.

Damn it. Next time, he...he would never take on a mission with a 3-day deadline!!

Despite that, the commotion caused by Lady Fera and Garfin successfully woke up everyone living at the volcano mountain—

Well, there’s only a single spirit living here.

Not even the fire dragons, lizard magma and other fire element beast spirits wanted to share such a small, ordinary volcano.

As the whole mountain was thrown here and there like a toy, the crow finally roused from its deep sleep and hurriedly flew out of its nest, its feathers flying everywhere chaotically.

"Kwaaakk! Kwakkk! Which idiot dares to wake up this venerable?!"

"Ka! Ka! Courting death, huh?! Huh— "

The crow’s shrill voice got stuck in his throat as he looked at the three spirits far away at the foot of the volcano.

Even from such a distance, the crow could clearly see the intense emotions on the three spirits’ faces.

"Ka...Ka?"

The crow’s voice died down and he quickly shrunk to the size of a pigeon, carefully sneaking out of the volcano.

No one can see him, no one can see him...

But the wind outside blew hard, whipping the small "pigeon" and almost tearing it into shreds!

The "pigeon" immediately screamed and hurriedly returned to the nest, only to be swayed like a lone boat in a raging sea.

Garfin shook the whole mountain as if he was shaking a yarn ball and the pitiful crow couldn’t bear it any longer.

With all three legs trembling, the crow immediately reverted to its gigantic size and rushed out, braving the wind while shouting in a shrill voice,

"Caw! Caw! Caw! Stop, stop! This venerable admits defeat! Admits defeat, ka! Ka! Please don’t destroy this venerable’s house, kaaaaa— "

The crow shouted himself hoarse and only then did Garfin stop shaking the mountain with the wind he summoned.

The moment tranquility returned to the volcano, before the big crow could pat its butt and run away again...

Both Garfin and Lady Fera simultaneously pounced at the big target with ferocity rivalling a tiger.

"Meow! Meow! This time, you can’t run away again!!"

"Woof! Woof! Eat this! Eat this!"

Pow! Pow! Pow!

The two beasts took turns beating the bird that was ten times their size, but instead of retaliating, the big crow pitifully hugged its head and cried miserably.

"Caw! Caw! Caw! This venerable already said sorry— ouch! Ouch!"

"You’re a lady, how can you be so rough— ouch! Ouch!"

"Caw! Caw! Caw! You, a self-proclaimed king, how could you bully a weak crow— ouch ouch ouch!"

Castra winced, feeling the phantom pain as he watched the crow being beaten black and blue.

This time, the crow didn’t use its aura to intimidate the opponents and just cried while enduring the beating.

Is this bastard just pretending so that it can run away again?

Castra didn’t know that this time, the crow was really wronged.

The crow had never been a good fighter, the crow fought with its mouth. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

What did the crow do wrong?

The crow was so moved by his own situation that he pitied himself and cried a river.

"Wuwuwuwu, spare the crow! The crow is going bald! Wuwuwuwuw— "

Despite pleading for mercy, the two beasts still ruthlessly plucked half of the crow’s feathers and kept them, vowing to sell the feathers for a good price.

The beating lasted for an entire night and only when the sun rose did the two beasts let go of the weak crow.

"Wuwuwuwuw. The crow has become a cripple."

The crow dragged its perfectly fine third leg and glanced behind every few steps, looking like he needed another beating!

Seeing the crow still acting like that, Garfin ground his teeth and suddenly had a bad, bad idea.

"Meow, meow, meow, little slave! Come here, quick!"

Garfin dragged the clueless Castra to block the pigeon-sized crow’s path and before the crow could react—

Garfin called out to Lady Fera.

"Meow, meow, let’s do this together, meow!"

Lady Fera caught the true meaning behind the indescribable sentence and immediately slapped at the crow’s forehead, her paw glowing in a strange light.

"Woofff!"

Simultaneously, Garfin swung his paw and slapped it onto Castra’s forehead!

The moment the two paws landed on different foreheads at the same time...

A glowing magic circle appeared beneath the crow and Castra’s feet!
