Oops Alpha, Wrong Luna-Chapter 30
Chapter 30: Chapter 30
Aria’s POV.
Kael stood there, his face hard, his eyes dark, glaring at Jeffery. His glare held a mix of something, Anger, jealousy or sadness. I couldn’t tell but it wasn’t good.
"Jeff, let’s go," Kael said, his voice cold, sharp.
"Your family’s leaving." Jeffery opened his mouth, his eyes pleading, like he wanted to stay, but Kael’s glare silenced him, his wolf close, his fists clenched.
Jeffery sighed, stood, and walked away, his steps slow.
Kael turned to me, his eyes burning, his voice stern. "Come to the room," he commanded, his tone icy, no warmth.
My heart sank, fear creeping in. I followed, my steps shaky, my mind racing.
Why was he mad? What had I done? We reached the room, the door shutting with a thud, and before I could ask, he spun me around, pinning me to the wall, his hands firm on my shoulders, his eyes fierce.
"Why don’t you see their true intentions?" he snapped, his voice sharp, cutting.
My heart pounded, fear twisting in my chest, my breath short. I was still pretending to be Celeste, my twin sister, hiding my real name, Aria, and the weight of that lie made my legs shake.
His cousins’ cruel words, Seraphina’s mocking laugh, the poisoned tea; they all swirled in my mind, and now Kael’s anger made me feel small, exposed.
I opened my mouth, my voice trembling. "I... I don’t know what you mean," I said, my eyes wide, searching his face.
His jaw was tight, his onyx eyes fierce, and I didn’t understand why he was so mad.
Was it Jeffery? Did he think I trusted his cousin too much? My wolf, Kyra, stirred, her voice soft but urgent.
"He’s protecting you, Aria. Stay calm." But my heart raced, fear and confusion mixing, my hands shaking against the cold wall.
Before I could say more, Kael’s face softened, his eyes flickering with something else; need, maybe, or pain.
He leaned closer, his breath warm on my face, and then his lips crashed into mine, deep and hungry.
I froze, my body stiff, my mind reeling. His kiss was hard, desperate, like he was trying to hold onto something, and my hands pushed against his chest, struggling to pull back.
Kyra growled low, her warmth spreading through me, urging me to give in. "He’s your mate," she whispered, her voice steady.
"Let him in." My fear melted, my body relaxing, and I kissed him back, my hands sliding up to his shoulders, my heart pounding for a different reason now.
His hands moved, one cupping my face, the other pulling me closer, his touch firm but gentle.
I felt his heartbeat through his shirt, fast and strong, matching mine. He lifted me, my legs wrapping around him, and carried me to the bed, the mattress soft under my back.
The room was quiet, the morning light dim through the curtains, the air thick with the scent of him; wood and earth.
His kisses trailed down my neck, warm and slow, his hands sliding under my dress, his fingers tracing my skin.
It was sweet, romantic, my body tingling, my breath quick. I touched him back, my hands on his chest, feeling the hard muscle under his shirt, my fingers tugging at the fabric.
He groaned, low and deep, his lips finding mine again, the kiss softer now, full of care.
My dress slipped off, his shirt too, our skin warm against each other. His hands were gentle, exploring, his eyes locked on mine, dark but warm, like he saw me, really saw me.
My heart fluttered, Kyra purring, happy, safe. For the first time in days, I forgot the lies, the poison, Celeste’s threats.
It was just us, Kael and me, our bond strong, pulling us closer. His fingers brushed my thighs, slow and careful, and I arched into him, my breath hitching, wanting more.
He smiled, small but real, and my chest ached with something new—hope, maybe, or love.
But as he moved closer, his dick throbbing and tensing, ready to thrust into my wet slits, something changed. His hands froze, his fingers digging into mine, tight, too tight.
His eyes squeezed shut, his face twisting, like he was fighting something inside.
My heart stopped, fear creeping back, Kyra growling low, confused. "Kael?" I whispered, my voice shaky, my hands on his face.
He didn’t answer, his head shaking, fast and sharp, like he was seeing something terrible, something I couldn’t see.
His grip tightened, his fingers like iron, pain shooting through my hands, my wrists burning.
"Kael, stop," I said, louder now, my voice trembling. I tried to pull away, my body squirming, but he didn’t hear me, his breathing heavy, his face tight with fear or anger or both.
My heart raced, panic rising, Kyra whining, urging me to fight. "Kael!" I shouted, my hands pushing at his chest, but his grip only got tighter, his nails digging into my skin, sharp and hot.
Pain stabbed through me, my wrists aching, my breath short. I couldn’t take it anymore. A scream tore from my throat, loud and desperate, echoing in the room.
His eyes snapped open, wide and scared, his face pale. He let go, his hands jerking back like he’d been burned, his breath ragged. He stared at me, his eyes full of fear, seeing the red marks on my wrists, the tears in my eyes.
My hands shook, pain throbbing, my heart pounding with shock and hurt. I opened my mouth, my voice gone, wanting to ask what happened, why he’d hurt me, but he didn’t say a word.
His face crumpled, his eyes dark with guilt, and he grabbed his shirt from the floor, pulling it on fast, his movements jerky.
Without looking at me, he turned and stormed out, the door slamming shut behind him, the sound sharp, final.
I sat there, my body trembling, my wrists burning, my heart heavy. The room felt cold now, the warmth of our moment gone, replaced by fear and confusion.
What had happened to him? What did he see? Was it me? Did he know I was Aria, not Celeste, and was that why he froze? My chest ached, tears spilling down my cheeks, my hands clutching the sheets.
Kyra whined, her voice soft, sad. "He didn’t mean it," she said, but I wasn’t sure.
I wasn’t sure of anything anymore.
