Facing the orb monster transformed by Alexia, Pei Yan and his two companions launched various attacks. However, whether it was necromantic attacks, physical attacks, electromagnetic cannon, fire, ice, and other damages, none could inflict substantial harm on it; instead, they were absorbed by its body, making the ever-hungry orb grow larger. Finally, this orb swelled to its limit after consuming a full-powered plasma cannon shot from Pei Yan.

Watching the massive orb floating in the sky with skin almost transparent due to reaching its limit, the blood vessels on its surface were clearly visible. The massive energy within, mixed with multiple types of attacks, filled Pei Yan with dread.

"It's going to self-destruct, taking us down with it!" Zheng Jia Ru said, wiping the cold sweat continuously dripping from his forehead, his voice trembling. After speaking, he wasted no time and took out the Jiezhi Space, throwing it into the air, intending to enter it with his companions for a temporary escape. However, the attempt made him panic immediately, exclaiming in horror, "The Spatial Magical Artifact is suppressed, we can't hide!"

Just as he finished speaking, Alexia's body surface began to crack, releasing streams of eerie light through the fissures. The three of them knew what kind of energy the orb, infused with their attacks, would explode with after detonating. Pei Yan activated his parallel space ability and was overwhelmed with joy upon finding it usable. He immediately dragged the two of them into it.

They had barely stepped into the parallel space when they heard the crisp sound of a balloon popping behind them. Then a dazzling light erupted, and Pei Yan dared not glance back as he quickly shut the entrance to the parallel space.

Ten minutes later, the three anxious individuals cautiously stepped out of the parallel space. Pei Yan had quietly dispatched a nanomachine to check the external safety. Just as they left the space, they staggered from the heat waves that blew over them, accompanied by the scorching aftermath of the explosion. Zheng Jia Ru looked around the site in a cold sweat, realizing the external space had been utterly destroyed by the intense explosion. The entire space seemed on the brink of collapse, with streams of molten unknown substances flowing everywhere, filling the air with a stench that induced dizziness. There was nowhere safe to stand, the scene as if the world had ended.

"Pei Yan, if it weren't for you, one of us would have definitely perished here. Those divine beings are truly terrifying!" The frightened Zheng Jia Ru spoke, deeply moved by what he'd witnessed. If not for Pei Yan's intervention, even if he and Xia Yu had momentarily overwhelmed the opponent, Alexia's final desperate move would have been unbeatable without retreating to the Jiezhi Space. He would have had to push his bodily functions to their limits, shielding Xia Yu. He would have died for sure, and Xia Yu's survival would be left to fate.

"Indeed, I underestimated them." Pei Yan, also sweating from his spine, felt a chill. Such damage, without the protection of the parallel space, could have left him severely injured. Reflecting on the moment when he nearly lost Zheng Jia Ru and Xia Yu to such an attack filled him with regret for his previous recklessness.

"Why did the Jiezhi Space fail?" Xia Yu wondered, staring at the spatial magical artifact already vanished under the flames.

"If I'm not mistaken, this should be a high-level spatial magical artifact. Our low-level spatial magical artifacts can be suppressed without permission from the artifact's owner. My parallel space, however, is a unique ability not confined by such spaces," Pei Yan explained, recalling the scene when Amendina used a spatial magical artifact earlier.

Upon understanding, Xia Yu nodded and looked up at the sky, asking, "Pei Yan, what should we do next?"

Hearing this, Pei Yan also looked up at the sky. Much like after defeating Detrich, following Alexia's death, three pathways of light appeared in the sky, allowing for choice. Given the current situation, having rescued Xia Yu and others, leaving this damned place and reuniting with his sister should be the priority. But the situation had changed again. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

Before venturing into the space to rescue Xia Yu, Saraf's condition was already precarious; now, it was even more critical. After weighing the options, given their nominal alliance, leaving Saraf to die would undoubtedly arouse criticism afterward.

"You all go outside and rendezvous with my sister and Old Ye, then try to delay things until I return. I'm going to rescue that fool," Pei Yan instructed, determined on his course of action.

"I'll go with you just in case; Xia Yu can go meet them," suggested Zheng Jia Ru, disregarding the sudden discomfort arising within him.

"No need. I'm not sure what awaits outside, but it's easier for me to maneuver alone," Pei Yan politely declined.

"Alright, but be careful. Put yourself first if things go south. We'll wait for you outside," Xia Yu, knowing Pei Yan's nature, refrained from convincing him otherwise and helped the somewhat weakened Zheng Jia Ru.

"Got it, you all be safe too!"

After bidding each other farewell, Pei Yan watched as Xia Yu and Zheng Jia Ru vanished through the light screen leading out, took a deep breath, and turned to enter the parallel space where Saraf was.

The same dazzling and bizarre scene as before greeted him. Alone, Pei Yan emerged mid-air through the space passage. He glanced over the hellish landscape, which bore no less destruction than Alexia had caused earlier, and quickly focused on his rescue target.

Saraf was no longer the spirited figure he had been; he was collapsed on the ground made incredibly fragile by repeated corrosion from fire and frost. The ground was stained dark red with dragon blood, surrounded by scattered dragon scales and broken limbs. A dragon horn, three times Pei Yan's height, was lodged not far from Saraf.

But Saraf's enemy fared no better. His right arm looked like burnt charcoal, its cracked surface radiating firelight, as if burning from within. A broken Dragon Finger, as thick as a wrist, penetrated his left shoulder, and below it was a massive scar across the chest, continuously tearing and healing.

Yet, despite his pitiful state, he was undoubtedly the victor of this battle, for he was proudly standing on Saraf's body, extracting vast amounts of blood with a single hand glowing eerily, draining it into his body.

"Stop!" At the crucial moment, Pei Yan shouted, raising his hand to fire three consecutive electromagnetic cannon shots.
