Listening patiently as Saraf weakly recounted his story, Long Jin became increasingly shocked. By the end, she looked at Saraf in disbelief and said, "Is everything you said true? This, it's unlikely! How could he possess such abilities! If what you said is true, then even I would find it hard to defeat him."

"Cough, cough, cough, don't be too modest. At least in recognizing one's strength, you're much better than me! Honestly, halfway through the fight, I sensed that I wasn't his match. I still had the strength to use my clan's lifesaving method that can escape by breaking open space, but I was unwilling to accept defeat, which is why I ended up like this."

After a series of dry coughs, Saraf's spirit grew noticeably weaker. With frail hands, he reached into the void, conjured something, and placed it in Long Jin's hands, continuing to confide, "This is my Storage Necklace. Although most of the magical artifacts and reserves were consumed in the battle just now, some precious fragments remain. I have erased my mark from it, and now entrust it to you, hoping it helps with your upcoming competition."

Faced with this gift, Long Jin accepted it without hesitation. Saraf then turned his head, straining to look in Pei Yan's direction before looking back at Long Jin, smiling softly, "When I leave, from what I know about him, he absolutely won't let go of the fact that we just besieged his ally. It's my subordinates who dragged you into this; you must remember every word I say next!"

"Do not engage him in combat. When you need to abandon those subordinates, do so. Use guerilla tactics and strive to survive until the end. Compared to us, he has a greater conflict with the Magic Realm." Saraf leaned his head closer to Long Jin's ear and instructed solemnly, "With the intelligence I just gave you, if you meet him, fight if you can; flee if you cannot. If you manage to incite the Immortal Palace and cornerstone plane to take preemptive action against him, that would be best. Achieving the top three is a victory. If it's truly difficult to persist, then exit. My body won't recover quickly enough for the upcoming personal battles; you are the hope of our realm in the solo matches and must not be lost here."

After hearing his advice, Long Jin found it hard to believe that such words came from the proud Saraf. It seemed the previous fight had truly been a heavy blow to him. Thinking about this, Long Jin became serious and promised Saraf as she nodded, "I've recorded everything you said. I will strictly follow your instructions. Go take care of your wounds; they can't be delayed any longer!"

Saraf did not immediately respond to Long Jin's request but instead glanced over her shoulder, fiercely commanding his subordinates who were standing sentinel, "After my departure, you must fully obey Young Master Long Jin. Even if she leads you to your death, you must do so without hesitation. This concerns the future honor of our clan; anyone who dares to disobey will face clan law!"

"Understood, we shall follow the Young Master's orders and honor the commands of Lady Long Jin!" Including the reluctant Julian, three individuals cupped their hands in compliance. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Having addressed everything, Saraf could no longer sustain himself, and in a helpless and unwilling expression, he tore off his competition wristband. A pillar of light descended from the sky, enveloping him as he gradually disappeared from the arena.

"Has Saraf finished what he wanted to say? Can our battle commence now?" Pei Yan, who had remained motionless since confronting Saraf, spoke up. His patience was not out of gentlemanly demeanor but a tactical move to bide time for his ally's recovery, as he would soon face off against two teams simultaneously, a situation he could not manage alone.

"Mr. Pei, is there no way to avoid the fight between us?" After sending Saraf off, Long Jin stood up and looked at Pei Yan, sighing regretfully.

"Miss Long Jin, what's the point of asking this when everything has already been set in motion?" Pei Yan, listening to the message his partner delivered through the earpiece, smirked and retorted.

Knowing that the battle was inevitable, and having ruled out seeking aid from the Daoist Realm during previous negotiations, Long Jin turned to the Magic Realm team, which had also attacked the cornerstone plane earlier, and coldly said, "Moira, you were involved in the conflict. In this situation, are you with us or will you continue to be a bystander?"

"Being a bystander? I'm afraid even if we wish, Mr. Pei won't allow it!" A contestant from the Magic Realm, who had been silently observing Pei Yan since his arrival, stepped out only when Long Jin named her. Moira charmingly looked at Pei Yan and said, "Mr. Pei, you're using Saraf to restrain the Spirit Monster Realm and prevent them from seeking aid from the Immortal Palace. I'm curious about what methods you'll use to prevent us from joining the battle."

"Methods? Against you, I don't need any methods. I prepared to face both families from the start!" Pei Yan looked at Moira dismissively and then pointed his finger at Xila behind him, continuing, "I heard you were allies. Earlier, the Demon Race fought to protect my allies on the field in exchange for their help when we dispatched troops to aid them. Now I'm back, and I, Pei Yan, never put my friends in difficult situations. The upcoming battle is between us three families and has nothing to do with the Demon Race. You needn't worry about their interference. Also, while there's someone in my Investigation Hall, you won't be able to touch the Demon Race either!"

"Good! Mr. Pei, you are indeed a person loyal to emotions and righteous action; I admire you immensely! Alas, this is all due to the competition rules; otherwise, our Magic Realm would not wish to harm our Demon Realm allies and engage in such a big conflict." Moira looked towards the Demon Race's faction with an expression of heartache and indignation.

Realizing Moira's insincerity after mercilessly sending away three of her companions, Xila responded with a slight smile but inwardly prepared to watch the show.

"Enough, everything that needed saying has been spoken, and everything that needed doing has been done! Now it's time for you all to repay your debts! I said those who hurt my friends will face consequences; today, no one leaves unscathed! Domain!"

Having prepared everything, Pei Yan could no longer suppress his anger. His form turned into lightning as he charged toward Julian, who was hiding amongst the Spirit Monster Realm's crowd. Julian, sensing trouble from the conversation, saw Pei Yan rushing directly at him and was instantly frightened, scrambling to pull himself closer to his companions to borrow their combined force to fend off Pei Yan's assassination attempt.

And his companions, including Long Jin, certainly couldn't let Pei Yan kill Julian in front of them. They immediately formed a defensive line, protecting him within. Long Jin flicked her wrist, producing a wooden sword in her palm, and countered with a slash aimed at Pei Yan.
