So good news: late last night my fiancee gave birth to our son, everything went great and we’re very happy with the little bundle. It also means I’ll be going on parental leave effective immediately!

As it’s customary for me to take a month-long break between books and we’re near the end of Good Treasons, the second book of Pale Lights, I’ve decided to effectively fuse those two breaks together so I won’t be coming back, going back on break and returning again.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

How this will be working is that I’ll take my three weeks of parental leave, then extend that break by three weeks to do the necessary legwork for the next book. The upside for you is that, when I return, there will be no pause between Good Treasons and the third book of the series - I’ll simply keep updating.

Regarding the dates, I will be on pause until the 18th of October which means the first update of the return will be Friday October 25.
