Pampered by My Ex's Cousin-Chapter 1018 - 1019: Missing My Daughter, Missing My Niece Even More (Part 3)
At the door, Ji Chicheng had his hands in the pockets of his impeccably straight trousers, scanning the entire banquet hall with his eyes.
A considerable number of business leaders and political figures associated with the coastal area were present.
Then he lifted his foot and walked inside.
"Young Master, Su and the others are over there." Wu, the assistant, found Su Yan and his group among the vast crowd.
Ji Chicheng glanced in the direction indicated by the old man, and then walked over.
"Young Ji."
Su Yan saw Ji Chicheng approaching and quickly got up to greet him.
He led him back to the group where he had just been, on the brown leather sofa, where Yan Rusheng and Su Yan’s wife were sitting.
There were also two faces that seemed both unfamiliar and familiar.
The man was wearing a black shirt, with a restrained and calm demeanor.
Su Yan pointed to him and introduced Ji Chicheng, "Let me introduce, this is my brother-in-law, Ming Ansheng."
Then he pointed to the girl next to Ming Ansheng and continued, "This is my sister, Su Yue."
Ji Chicheng nodded at them, and Ming Ansheng nodded back.
"Do you think I look young and he looks old?"
Su Yue tilted her head and asked Ji Chicheng with a slight smile.
Ji Chicheng glanced at the Ming Yue couple expressionlessly and replied in an indifferent tone, "Not really."
The tone was clearly saying that you are very boring.
Even though he was only four years older than Anning, he was an elder, and whoever asked about the issue of men being older than women, he would get upset with them.
Su Yue: "..."
"Hahaha..." Ming Ansheng laughed heartily at seeing his little wife at a loss.
The hearty laughter made Su Yue furious, and she gritted her teeth and stepped on his foot hard.
Ming Ansheng reached out and patted her on the back of the hand indulgently, then looked at Ji Chicheng and asked, "Why didn’t Young Ji bring his wife and daughter along to have some fun?"
Ji Chicheng replied calmly, "She went to support her best friend’s school event."
"I’ve watched her movie several times, her acting is amazing." Su Yue suddenly interjected.
Ji Chicheng nodded without any modesty, "Hmm, I think so too."
None of the men present had any objection to his lack of modesty, after all, they were all fiercely protective husbands, and could resonate with him.
Everyone was chatting casually, and Yan Rusheng and Su Yan, as the hosts here, were constantly being approached by people greeting them, with all kinds of flattering and official language,
"Mommy."
Suddenly, a girl’s voice called out ’Mommy,’ Ji Chicheng was stunned, looked up towards the direction of the voice, and saw a little girl aged seven or eight, wearing a goose-yellow dress, with a ponytail, bouncing energetically towards them.
She had bright large eyes, deep and enchanting, like a little elf, exceptionally beautiful.
Following her was a little boy wearing a diaper, with a pacifier in his mouth, chubby like a small meatball.
That look, so adorable.
Ji Chicheng’s eyes kept following the little guy, always feeling that he was going to fall, but in the end, it was always a false alarm.
The little girl first ran into Su Yue’s arms and acted coy, "Mommy, little brother is so annoying."
"If he’s annoying, let’s ignore him." Su Yue hugged her daughter and glanced disdainfully at the little meatball trying hard to climb onto the sofa beside her.
Seeing him struggling so much to climb up, she didn’t intend to lend a hand.
Holding Su Xiaoqiao, she pointed at Ji Chicheng across from her and introduced him to Su Xiaoqiao, "Xiaoqiao, this is Uncle Ji."
