He never imagined that he would come back to life and experience today. πšπ•£πžπ—²π°π•–π›π§π• π•§πšŽπš•.πœπš˜π—Ί

Ji Chicheng looked down and chuckled bitterly.

Su Yan’s voice rang in his ears again, "If you and your little niece are going to have a wedding banquet, you must come to our resort and hold it here. I’ll give you a discount and special offers."

"Not interested," Ji Chicheng replied proudly to Su Yan, raising the glass bottle in his hand and tilting his head back to finish the drink in the cup.

Then he put down the bottle and got up, tidying up his clothes. He naturally slipped his hands into the pockets of his suit pants and glanced down at Su Yan.

The two exchanged a knowing smile.

Ji Chicheng stepped toward the less crowded area and walked out of the banquet hall doors.

"Young Master."

Ji Chicheng exited the hall, and Special Assistant Wu happened to come out of the stairwell holding a phone.

He called out to Ji Chicheng and approached him to ask, "I had Chen Xiang bring you the drink; did he see you?"

"Yeah," Ji Chicheng nodded and instructed, "Prepare to head back."

He said this while moving his feet toward the elevator.

Special Assistant Wu was a bit surprised, "Leaving this afternoon?"

Actually, this was just the warm-up part of the event; the main part was in the evening. Their plan was to leave early tomorrow.

Ji Chicheng nodded, "Yes."

Special Assistant Wu said "Oh," and then suddenly remembered something, asking, "Then... what about all those fireworks we prepared?"

Ji Chicheng replied expressionlessly, "You can go and set them off now."

While speaking, they had already reached the elevator entrance. The elevator had just arrived, and he walked straight in.

Special Assistant Wu speechlessly followed behind him.

Thinking to himself, if an old man like me goes alone to the seaside to set off fireworks during the daytime, it’s no wonder people would think my brain got fried by some stimulation.

His old face flushed for a moment, but he held it back and cautiously looked at Ji Chicheng, asking, "Actually, you originally planned to bring Miss Anning and Fenfen, right?"

Ji Chicheng frowned, giving the elder beside him a sidelong glance, "Sometimes, you’re even less lovable than the old-fashioned ones in my family."

After saying this, he shot the elder a disdainful look. The elevator arrived at the first floor, and he stepped out first.

From his stride, it was evident his mood was not pleasant at all.

Special Assistant Wu sneered, "Heh... hehe, sorry, Young Master, seems like I hit your sore spot."

The building they were staying at was a little distance from the banquet hotel. It was almost noon, and the sun’s heat grew stronger, probably because he had stayed a bit too long in the two-block environment of the banquet hall.

Coming outside with such intense sun made his head suddenly spin a bit.

Ji Chicheng reached out and rubbed his temples.

Special Assistant Wu noticed this action and quickly stepped forward to ask with concern, "What’s wrong with you?"

"Nothing," Ji Chicheng shook his head lightly, responding to Special Assistant Wu, lowering his hand, and continued walking forward.

Special Assistant Wu asked, "Did you drink all the beverages?"

"Yes," Ji Chicheng nodded.

The sun was just too fierce. After walking only a few steps, he began to sweat.

He quickened his pace and finally entered the hotel’s front door where he was staying; the air conditioning in the lobby was quite sufficient, making him exhale comfortably.

Special Assistant Wu followed him in, saying to Ji Chicheng, "I’ll go first to find Chen Xiang and say hello; you should go to your room and rest for a bit."

Ji Chicheng nodded slightly and walked toward the stairs, quickly going upstairs.

Returning to the room, he headed straight into the bathroom, took a shower, and wearing a bathrobe, lay down on the sofa.
