Chapter 1118: Chapter 1120: A Familiar Feeling (Part 1)

Rudy Finn was cooking in the kitchen, Korea was about to find her, but paused when she overheard two servants whispering in the dining room.

Ji Anning’s ring was picked up by Ji Chicheng?

That pink ring, she once secretly saw its design draft in Ji Chicheng’s office in M Country.

It was personally designed by Ji Chicheng.

So every time she saw Ji Anning wearing that ring, she felt an urge to cut off her finger with a knife.

Such a good man, such a beautiful ring, should only belong to her.

"Young master."

Suddenly, the butler’s voice came from the living room.

Korea’s jealousy and hatred were interrupted, she turned around, headed back to the living room where Ji Chicheng, in a charcoal gray home outfit, was coming downstairs, just awake and looking sleepy.

His steps were lazy.

Korea approached him with a smile, "Chicheng."

Ji Chicheng lowered his gaze and gave Korea a cold glance, ignoring her. After coming downstairs, he headed towards the sofa.

Korea stood still, watching Ji Chicheng’s tall, indifferent back. She clenched her fist secretly, a hint of calculation flashed in her eyes.

She turned and went upstairs.

At this moment, the second-floor corridor was empty.

Korea walked to the door of Ji Chicheng’s room, looked around cautiously, then turned the doorknob and entered.

The ring, where would Chicheng put the ring?

She had to find it and either throw it away or destroy it, never letting it return to Ji Anning’s hand again.

"She was looking outside the door all afternoon, and when I checked now, she seems to have left."

"The young master took the ring, we can only tell Miss Niannian we didn’t see it."

"Young master!"

The butler, holding the phone, spoke as he hurried into the living room, where he saw Ji Chicheng sitting on the sofa and was suddenly taken aback, quickly stopping his words.

She was looking outside the door all afternoon...

The ring!

Ji Chicheng suddenly realized, stood up abruptly, and rushed upstairs.

"Young master, what’s wrong?"

Worried by Ji Chicheng’s sudden reaction, the butler called after him.

Ji Chicheng ignored him, dashed back to his room, and turned the doorknob.

"What are you doing?"

Ji Chicheng immediately saw Korea standing in front of his bedside table, and asked cautiously.

Korea was startled, her right hand reflexively moved behind her, then she turned with a smile and looked at Ji Chicheng, "Chicheng!"

"I asked what you’re doing," Ji Chicheng’s face was cold, and he strode over to Korea.

A cold aura surged toward Korea like a fierce beast.

Korea shrank her neck in fear, "N-no...nothing."

She shook her head, pretending to be calm.

Her right hand remained behind her back, Ji Chicheng noticed, his sharp eyes scrutinizing her, "What do you have in your hand?"

"Nothing," Korea shook her head, refusing to admit she was holding something.

Her demeanor clearly suggested she was lying. Ji Chicheng straightforwardly reached out to grab her hand, "Give it to me."

"I really don’t have anything," Korea forcefully shook off Ji Chicheng’s hand and swiftly transferred the item to her other hand, then looked at Ji Chicheng, smiling, "Did Uncle return? Let’s go downstairs for dinner."

Ji Chicheng was certain she was holding something, likely taken from the bedside table.

Thinking this, he glanced at the bedside table and immediately noticed something was missing, his head snapped back with anger, a sharp light flashing through his eyes.
