Chapter 187: Chapter 181 We Should Be Married (Part 3)

The assistant walked up behind her with a smile and reached out to help her with the dress, "Let me help you button this up."

"Sure."

Yang Danning followed the assistant into the changing room. Once the door to the changing room was shut, Ji Chicheng shifted his gaze to Ji Anning.

When their eyes met, Ji Anning’s face turned cold, and she indifferently moved her gaze away.

"Weren’t you just staring at me?"

Ji Chicheng took long strides toward Ji Anning and looked down at her with lowered eyes.

Ji Anning kept her head down and refused to look at him, speaking coldly, "Between us, let’s not have any interaction."

Her voice was very soft, very soft.

Ji Chicheng didn’t care about her attitude at all and smiled with a raised eyebrow, "Is it very difficult, very conflicted, very hard to accept?"

Yes, he knew everything—her current mood, her feelings—but the more he knew, the more he wanted to torment her, right?

Ji Anning still kept her gaze down, her expression cold, ignoring Ji Chicheng.

"You have a choice that could make this less painful for you."

As Ji Chicheng spoke, he bent down to sit next to Ji Anning, pressing his body tightly against hers.

Even through several layers of clothes, Ji Anning could feel the firm muscles on his arms, and uncontrollably, her mind replayed over and over those moments in bed where she had fiercely grabbed onto his arms for relief.

If she hadn’t experienced it herself, she would never associate his tall and somewhat slender frame with muscles.

His natural hypoglycemia made him faint several times in front of her; it seemed that from childhood, his health was always suboptimal.

She hadn’t expected his physique to be so robust.

Those moments of unbearable pleasure replayed in her mind like a series of X-rated films, and she couldn’t control the switch.

The burning sensation on her face told her that her cheeks were now probably very, very red.

She remained silent.

Ji Chicheng moved closer to her side and said, "If you help me take off this suit, I will leave here immediately."

At his words, Ji Anning’s face turned red to the tips of her ears, and she turned her head to glare at him, only to find him still so calm and composed. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

She frowned and gritted her teeth, "Shameless!"

She squeezed out the words through clenched teeth, then angrily got up and threw Yang Danning’s phone on the couch.

She walked away without turning back.

"What’s wrong with Anning?"

Yang Danning came out from the changing room just in time to see the last glimpse of Ji Anning’s furious departure and asked Ji Chicheng in confusion.

"She said she’s not feeling well, she looks very out of sorts, I’ll go take her home."

Saying this, Ji Chicheng got up and hurried after her.

"Chicheng brother,"

Yang Danning chased after Ji Chicheng, calling out while lifting her skirt.

She reached the doorway just as Ji Chicheng got to the stairwell and disappeared. She was still in her slippers, so she didn’t continue chasing.

It felt like a cooked duck had flown away; she pouted, feeling unwilling and hardly able to calm down. She walked over to the couch, picked up the phone, and dialed Ji Anning’s number.

Ji Anning had just reached the roadside and was about to hail a taxi when her phone suddenly rang.

She withdrew her hand from hailing a cab, pulled out her phone, glanced at the incoming caller ID, saw it was Yang Danning, and she immediately answered and apologized: "Danning, I’m so sorry, my head hurts too much, I had to leave. And I also don’t want to be a third wheel. Isn’t it better for you two to have some time alone?"
