Pampered by My Ex's Cousin-Chapter 210 - 204: Still Lost in the End (Part 6)
"Mr. Rong." The beauty pouted unhappily, her tone coquettish.
Rong Feifan’s expression darkened. Before he could speak, the beauty, frightened, quickly pushed open the car door and vacated the seat.
"Get in." Rong Feifan stuffed Ji Anning into the passenger seat, then he headed for the driver’s seat, but Jin Yuanyuan’s traffic cop god suddenly reached out and grabbed his arm, holding him back.
"You can’t leave, I just found out your driver’s license has been revoked. You’re now driving illegally, and I have to impound your vehicle."
The traffic cop steadfastly did his duty.
"Traffic cop uncle." Rong Feifan looked at the traffic cop, pointed to Ji Anning in the car, and smirked as he raised his eyebrows, "Can’t you see this beauty is in a hurry?"
"That still doesn’t allow you to go." The traffic cop frigidly maintained his integrity, refusing to let Rong Feifan go.
Stuck here like this, Ji Anning was frantic. She also looked at the cop, pleading, "Please, I really have an emergency."
Jin Yuanyuan hurried over to plead with her crush on her friend’s behalf. "Officer Zhan, Anning is my friend, please make an exception."
"No exceptions."
Officer Zhan looked utterly professional, no is no, no matter who pleads.
Rong Feifan gritted his teeth, narrowed his eyes, a dangerous gleam flashing through them.
"Then I have no choice but to assault an officer."
He clenched his fist, aimed at Officer Zhan’s face, and smashed it down hard, surprising with his strength considering his slim figure.
A punch sent Officer Zhan staggering several steps before tumbling to the ground.
"Officer Zhan." Jin Yuanyuan saw her crush knocked down, hurried over to help, her heart aching.
Rong Feifan didn’t waste a second, while Zhan was still down, he pressed his hands against the car door, leaped nimbly into the car.
Immediately starting the car, the luxurious white sports car roared off, disappearing meters away in the blink of an eye.
Rong Feifan prepared to slow down, Ji Anning noticed, quickly waved him off, "To Longpo Wharf, don’t slow down, keep this speed."
"OK." Rong Feifan gave Ji Anning a wicked smile, then pressed harder on the accelerator.
Throughout the drive, he hardly slowed down even for turns, worried Ji Anning might be cold, he closed the sunroof.
The entire journey was at breakneck speed, Ji Anning didn’t utter a word, her hand gripping the safety handle, palm sweaty.
Because she was preoccupied with the gravely ill Yang Yufang, she wasn’t scared.
It was just that each sharp turn churned her stomach like turbulent seas.
"Here we are, Longpo Wharf."
Finally, they arrived at the destination. Rong Feifan smoothly stopped the car, then he raised his wristwatch, looking at the time, very pleased, "Twenty minutes."
"Thanks... uh..." Ji Anning tried to give thanks, but before she could finish, the churning in her stomach surged to her throat. She retched, quickly covering her mouth with her hand.
Rong Feifan watched her amusedly, "Hey, you don’t have to thank me like that."
Ji Anning raised her other hand, apologized with her eyes to Rong Feifan, then quickly opened the car door, rushed to the roadside, and crouched to vomit.
"Have some water to rinse your mouth."
Rong Feifan considerately brought over an unopened bottle of mineral water, handing it to Ji Anning.
Ji Anning took it, unscrewed it, poured some into her mouth, rinsed, and spat it out, feeling much better. With no time to waste, she quickly got up.
(Yang’s driving test is next Monday, and my coach is putting me through hellish training these days. I can only manage four Chapters these two days, but I’ll try to write more if possible. Also, concerning the plot, hasty work cannot accomplish neat results... Each character’s appearance is to pave the way for the protagonist’s progress.)
