Pampered by My Ex's Cousin-Chapter 212 - 206: Still Lost in the End (Part 8)
As soon as he sent the message, he immediately received a reply.
"At least give us a name," they said.
Rong Feifan thought for a moment and replied, "I don’t know her name, but I met her near T University. Check if she is a student there. She’s so beautiful, not just a school beauty but possibly a department beauty. Waiting for your news."
After replying, he tossed his phone onto the passenger seat, glanced once more at the distant sea, and his lips curved up in a determined smile.
Then, he leapt into his car, the cool white sports car revved up, spun 360 degrees, and sped away.
...
"Ugh..."
The yacht was moving so fast, and Ji Anning couldn’t stop vomiting, she couldn’t even stay seated and sat directly on the floor, leaning against a corner.
She had run out of bile to throw up, yet her stomach still churned violently.
She began to worry about the baby in her womb, and wanted to ask the middle-aged man to slow down a bit, but separated by a cabin and with the noise of the yacht’s engine and the wind, her shouts were completely drowned out, and the man couldn’t hear her at all.
The violent rocking made her too afraid to stand and go out, and she couldn’t stand up at all.
She had been on a cruise ship before, but this was her first time on a small yacht, and she hadn’t anticipated it being like this before she got on.
Physically weakening, vomiting to the point where there was nothing left to throw up and no energy to do so, Ji Anning’s consciousness also became increasingly blurred.
"Miss Anning, we’ve arrived," said a voice.
Hearing someone call her, she regained a bit of consciousness and slowly opened her eyes to find herself lying on the floor. She hurriedly supported herself with her hands and crawled up.
The middle-aged man was crouching next to her. She sat up, leaned against the wall, and looked at him weakly, asking, "Have we arrived?"
Although she still felt like everything was swaying, she knew that the yacht had come to a stop.
"We’ve arrived," the middle-aged man nodded, then looked at Ji Anning with concern and asked, "Miss Anning, are you alright?"
"Seasick. Could you help me up?" Ji Anning extended a hand to the middle-aged man.
Her head was still spinning badly, she couldn’t stand up on her own.
The middle-aged man held her arm and carefully helped Ji Anning to stand.
"Thank you."
Once she was on her feet, Ji Anning immediately leaned against the wall and instinctively stepped away from the middle-aged man, nodding and thanking him.
"We’ve reached Garden Island. I see Ji Shao’s motorboat at the shore. Do you want to go find him now, or rest a bit first?"
Ji Anning shook her head, "No need, I’ll go down now." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Time was pressing, and the yacht was still swaying a bit. She needed to get to solid ground to recover.
Supporting herself against the wall, she made her way out of the small cabin, and upon seeing the outside, the island that had seemed tiny in the distance was now much bigger up close than she had imagined.
The island was covered in trees, densely packed and rather ominous.
A narrow path led into the island, barely discernible as a path.
This was vastly different from the Garden Island she had imagined, which, by its name, suggested an island like a garden.
It must be because it was night that she couldn’t see the island’s beauty.
Once on land, Ji Anning still felt like she was swaying. Next to the yacht was a motorboat. She glanced at it, then followed the narrow path into the island.
Lacking in strength, she needed to lean against a tree every few steps.
