Chapter 776: Chapter 768: Who is the True Master of the Ji Family? (Part 6)

That home couldn’t possibly be left to Ji Jingfeng to do with as he pleased.

On the way home, Ji Anning still felt very heavy-hearted and anxious.

She thought, returning, in what capacity would they coexist in that home?

Firstly, the matter with Ji Mingyue would not be easy to deal with.

The car slowly entered the Ji Family’s large courtyard; the fountain at the entrance was playing, scattering water droplets as the car circled around it. Fenfen stood up excitedly, leaning on the car window.

Ji Anning moved closer and hugged her, asking, "Are you so happy to be home?"

"Miss granny," Fenfen pouted with her small mouth, looking at the gate eagerly wanting to get home.

Seeing Fenfen missing Ji Mingyue so much, Ji Anning couldn’t help but feel more deeply moved and somewhat consoled.

The car stopped at the steps at the entrance. Ji Chicheng got out first, and Fenfen, unable to wait, followed him quickly and scrambled out of the car by herself.

She didn’t want Ji Chicheng to carry her; her short little legs moved swiftly and she ran into the house.

Ji Anning sat in the car, feeling a bit nervous, while Ji Chicheng patiently waited for her outside the car door.

"The little one is back."

Suddenly, another car stopped behind them, a white Audi TT; the one getting out from the driver’s seat was Ji Xiangting, holding a red Chanel purse. She saw Ji Chicheng, smiled faintly as she greeted him, and then her figure swayed elegantly as she walked toward him.

Ji Anning had just gotten out of the car when she heard Ji Xiangting’s voice. She paused, lifting her head to meet Xiangting’s gaze that was just sweeping her way.

After a single glance, Ji Anning immediately looked down, not wanting to engage in a confrontation with her.

Having alighted from the car, under Ji Xiangting’s gaze, she became more at ease instead, straightened up, and made a signaling eye gesture to Ji Chicheng, indicating for him to go ahead.

Ji Xiangting, standing aside, didn’t catch Ji Anning’s subtle move, and watched her with a smile, saying, "Anning, it’s been a long time since we last saw each other."

Ji Anning was slightly surprised; after all, she had already made a clear break with them, and now without the old man to hold them back, there was no need for Ji Xiangting to pretend to be friendly with her.

However, since the other party had taken the initiative to greet her, if she did not respond, it would seem like she was being petty. Moreover, they would need to continue living in this house, and even if it was just out of consideration for Ji Mingyue’s feelings, they should try to coexist peacefully.

"Indeed, big..."

As Ji Anning opened her mouth, the word "sister" hadn’t yet left her lips when Ji Chicheng suddenly reached out, grasped her wrist, and led her toward the house.

Dominantly not giving her any chance to struggle.

Hand in hand, they walked into the Ji Family’s gate under Ji Xiangting’s gaze.

Through Ji Chicheng’s actions, Ji Anning sensed his determination, but the sounds of joy and laughter coming from the house still caused her to have some reservations. As she changed shoes, she forcefully struggled out of Ji Chicheng’s hand.

The two were hidden from view by the vestibule, and the people inside couldn’t see them yet.

Ji Chicheng gave Ji Anning a warning look. She tiptoed and kissed the corner of his mouth in a flattering manner, "Uncle, as the saying goes, showing off one’s love brings bad luck, let’s keep it low-key."

She grinned, smiling playfully and endearingly.

Ji Chicheng rolled his eyes at her and without further attention to her, turned and entered the house.

Ji Anning poked her head out from the entryway, watching Ji Chicheng walk into the living room where a group of people seemed to be staring at his return, each of them greeting him in turn.

Among them was a stranger who must be Ji Jingfeng’s girlfriend, with her shoulder-length bronze hair styled into charming and cute pear blossom curls, a somewhat heavy makeup, though she seemed to have a good foundation...
