Chapter 804: Chapter 796: Your Ex-Girlfriend’s Wedding (Part 2)

There was no road to the small island; they had to take a boat, so they parked the car at the dock, where a yacht had already come to pick them up.

Aboard the luxurious yacht stood a man in a white T-shirt, wearing goggles, smiling slightly at them, obviously there to greet them. Ji Anning murmured softly, "Are yacht pilots this handsome nowadays?"

Hearing this, Ji Chicheng glanced over, giving Ji Anning a displeased look.

Ji Anning, feeling defiant, pretended not to notice and quickened her pace to walk ahead of Ji Chicheng.

Once on the yacht, the white T-shirted man greeting them bowed to her very gentlemanly.

In the name of politeness, Ji Anning nodded back to him. It was only upon closer inspection that she noticed the man’s hair had a bit of a curl—likely natural—and the gentlemanly demeanor he exhibited didn’t seem forced at all, giving off a very comfortable feeling.

Ji Anning knew this was a sign of temperament.

She finally understood what Ji Chicheng’s glance had meant. This sunny and handsome man was definitely more than just a yacht pilot.

"Mr. Ji."

As Ji Chicheng got onto the yacht with Fenfen in his arms, the man also gave Ji Chicheng a slight nod.

Ji Chicheng smiled, "Mr. Su."

Mr. Su... Indeed, she’d been fortunate that her voice hadn’t been loud, otherwise it would have been truly embarrassing.

Ji Anning was puzzled; when she was alone without Ji Chicheng, she could handle all kinds of situations perfectly. Yet, whenever she was with Ji Chicheng, she became like a child who couldn’t leave the watchful eye of a parent. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

She involuntarily moved closer to Ji Chicheng, feeling secure only when she was near him.

This was the first time Ji Anning had seen Ji Chicheng being so polite to someone. She was curious who the man that could make Ji Chicheng show such courtesy was, when suddenly Ji Chicheng introduced him, "The person in charge of the Vivid Life Resort, the Vice President of Rongsheng Group, Su Yan."

Upon hearing this, Ji Anning’s mouth fell open, and she sized up the handsome man before her again. She had known he was not an ordinary person, but she hadn’t expected such an impressive title.

Su Yan took off his sunglasses, revealing deep-set eyes; he was mixed race, and his especially dense and long eyelashes were most striking.

She had heard that the President and Vice President of Rongsheng were a pair of handsome men who swept through the business world with both intelligence and good looks, and they certainly lived up to their reputation.

Ji Anning was surprised for a moment, and then she extended her hand generously, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Su."

Su Yan shook her hand, and then his gaze shifted to Fenfen, whom Ji Chicheng was holding, "Is this the little niece Mr. Ji mentioned?"

His lips twitched slightly, a tremor at the corner of his mouth as he clearly struggled to hold back laughter.

Before Ji Chicheng could answer, Ji Anning, with a smile, hurriedly said, "No, I’m the little niece."

She first pointed to herself, then to Fenfen, introducing to Su Yan, "This is his grandniece."

Before she had finished speaking, Ji Chicheng gave her a ’Ji Anning, you’re in big trouble’ look.

"Su Yan!"

Suddenly, someone called out for Su Yan from the cabin—it was a vivacious woman’s voice, and Ji Anning’s gaze was the first to dart in the direction of the sound.

A woman in a sexy swimsuit stood inside the yacht’s control room, waving at them.

The woman wore goggles and headphones, her radiant smile shining on her face, her other hand resting on the yacht’s steering wheel.

"Wow, that’s so cool," Ji Anning exclaimed.

She thought women who drove racing boats were cool, but she didn’t envy them.
