Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 748 - 751: Young Master, you’d better pray for good luck!
"Are you full?" Sophie Sullivan patted its large head.
The maids’ voices trembled, on the verge of tears, "Maniac, we’ve already fed it meat..."
Sophie Sullivan knelt down, and Gaby immediately nuzzled up to her, rubbing its face affectionately against hers. Sophie chuckled and leaned her head back. "Alright, Gaby, there’s something I need you to do. Come with me."
Releasing Gaby, she beckoned, and Gaby followed her upstairs.
In the corridor, Charlie River had already received the message that Sophie Sullivan had brought a tiger with her.
Yet, to his surprise, the tiger was incredibly affectionate towards her!
It behaved completely like a domesticated house cat!
Charlie River wasn’t sure if he was mistaken, but the tiger seemed oddly familiar.
Sophie Sullivan led Gaby. One was human, the other a tiger; one was ravishing, the other ferocious. Together, they formed a strikingly bold picture.
"What are you dawdling for? Open the door." Sophie raised her delicate chin slightly, motioning for Charlie River to open the bedroom door.
Fine beads of sweat broke out on Charlie River’s forehead. The maniac couldn’t possibly want to... wake the Young Master with the tiger, could she?
Considering this possibility, Charlie River blocked the doorway. "Maniac, you may go in, but the tiger can’t!"
"Are you discriminating against my pet?"
Sophie frowned, one hand stroking Gaby’s head. "Gaby, he doesn’t like you. What should we do?"
Gaby let out a fierce GROWL, its sharp claws extending from its paws.
It adopted a stance, ready to pounce and attack at any moment.
The men in black tensed, their hands moving to their waists, ready to draw their guns.
If they detected any danger, they were prepared to open fire immediately.
"Maniac, calm down. We can talk things over," Charlie River tried to negotiate.
Sophie gave him no room for negotiation. "Fine. If we can’t go in, then Gaby and I will leave."
She turned, called Gaby, and made to leave.
Wasn’t this forcing his hand?
Charlie River groaned inwardly and hurried forward. "Maniac, don’t leave!"
"Is there a problem?" Sophie paused and turned slightly to look at him.
"If you insist on bringing this tiger in, it’s not impossible. However, it cannot stay for long, and it absolutely must not harm the Young Master."
Sophie looked at Charlie River with an enigmatic smile but said nothing.
Charlie River took her silence as tacit agreement.
He turned, returned to the bedroom door, opened it, and made an inviting gesture. "Maniac, please."
Young Master, you’re on your own!
The maniac was clearly up to no good; she wouldn’t give up this time.
Charlie River silently prayed for Thomas Shannon and then observed a three-second moment of silence for him in his heart.
"Let’s go, Gaby."
A smirk touched Sophie Sullivan’s lips as she stepped into the bedroom first. Harry, who had been lounging at the end of the bed, stretching lazily, heard the commotion and abruptly lifted his head.
Its big, round eyes spotted Sophie, and with a MEOW, it pounced joyfully towards her.
Before it could reach Sophie’s embrace, Gaby shot out, startling Harry so badly that its fur stood on end. Losing its bearings, it tumbled to the ground.
The instant its paws touched the ground, it was so terrified its legs scrabbled for purchase. With a couple of pathetic wails, it darted about in a panic.
Gaby stared intently at the frantically darting Harry and let out a GROWL. Harry immediately scurried to Thomas Shannon’s side, curling up into a tiny ball.
Seeing Harry look so utterly cowed, Sophie couldn’t help but chuckle. "Gaby, don’t scare Harry."
Gaby was clearly annoyed. It padded forward, placed its front paws on the edge of the bed, and stared intently at Harry, letting out another fierce GROWL.
It was as if declaring its territory, permitting no trespassers.
