Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 800 - 802: Forgiving a Jealous Man Is Irrational
Letting him abandon Sophie, he can’t do it.
What changes might occur in future matters, he cannot predict.
But now, asking him to give up Sophie is absolutely impossible.
Unless he dies!
Edward Benson smiled bitterly, "Thomas, you can’t let go of that maniac, so I can’t let go of her either."
Expecting him to forsake her and look forward, he can’t do it.
It’s as if it would tear his heart apart.
He’d rather cling to a bitter hope, continually searching, telling himself that she’s still living in some corner of this world.
Even if she hates him, all he wants is for her to live well.
Thomas Shannon took a deep breath and gently comforted, "One day, you’ll find her."
Even if this is an impossible belief, it is enough to support him moving forward, so he is willing to utter this insincere lie.
Without washing up, Thomas Shannon returned to the bedroom.
Gaby was still asleep, but upon hearing him open the door, she immediately raised her head in alert.
Thomas Shannon glanced at the still sleeping Sophie Sullivan and proceeded to the restroom.
After washing up, he approached the bedside, only for the corner of his sleep gown to be bitten.
He looked down; Gaby was biting his sleep gown, pulling him, preventing him from getting close to Sophie.
"Let go!"
Gaby not only didn’t let go but also pulled him towards the bedroom door.
This is absurd!
Thomas Shannon couldn’t believe he couldn’t handle a bastard; as he was lifting his foot, he was suddenly reproached by a soft and delicate voice: "Thomas Shannon, dare you harm Gaby!"
The foot suspended midway embarrassingly settled down, as Thomas turned and saw Sophie rubbing her eyes and sitting up.
"Fennie, you’re awake?" He hooked the corner of his mouth, trying to gloss over last night’s affair as if nothing had happened.
Sophie sneered, "Who are you calling Fennie? Are we that familiar?"
This didn’t give him any face at all.
A trace of embarrassment flashed across Young Master Shannon’s handsome face; he pressed a fist against the tip of his nose, and lightly coughed, "Hungry? Breakfast is prepared, let’s go downstairs and eat together?"
"Who wants to have breakfast with you, shameless. I want to eat with Lucifer."
Sophie lifted the silk quilt, got out of bed, and just as she took two steps, her wrist was suddenly gripped tight by Thomas Shannon, "Fennie, still angry?"
"Let go."
"Don’t be angry at me; I know Lucifer is going back to Country F today."
"I plan to go back with him, isn’t that okay?" Sophie glared at him, her face indifferent.
Thomas Shannon chuckled lowly; if she really wanted to go back with Lucifer, she would have given him a cold shoulder and left last night.
She wouldn’t have stayed and had a good night’s sleep, only to say she’d go with him this morning.
"Fennie, I was just jealous."
Thomas Shannon didn’t have time to pay attention to Gaby, who was persistently biting his sleep gown and trying to drag him out.
He extended his arms, encircling her soft waist, bowed his head, looking at her angrily, "Forgive a jealous man who is irrational, any words he says have not been thought through. So, don’t hold it against him, okay?"
"..."
"Fennie is so beautiful and kind-hearted, you’ll definitely forgive him, right?"
"Stop flattering, I’m not falling for it!"
"Nonsense." Thomas Shannon sternly reprimanded in a low voice, "I’m speaking the truth. Where’s the flattery? Fennie is the most beautiful woman I have ever met, without exception."
After speaking this sentence, Thomas Shannon felt that he had said the right thing.
