Chapter 29: Air and earth’s spiritual energy

However...!

Fortunately for Sebastian Force, the ancestral reward that he had managed to obtain from his ancestral blessing wasn’t a mere ability or talent that a nascent soul realm being possessed.

And in truth...

For the ancestral blessing to make Sebastian experienced those flashbacks, introducing the torch dragon, phoenix king, The Banished, and finally, last and for all, The Banished’s innate talent, which was the yin and yang cores...

By piecing one and one to each other, it was easy to come to the conclusion that the ancestral reward that Sebastian had obtained from the ancestral blessing was going to be the yin and yang cores!

And just what was the yin and yang cores?

It was an innate talent that was formed due to the epitome of yin energy that the torch dragon possesses, and the epitome of yang energy that the phoenix king possesses!

And what were actually the cultivation realms of the torch dragon and phoenix king when they had mated and gave birth to The Banished?

At that point in time where that happened, both the torch dragon and phoenix king were already in the immortal realms!

To put things in perspective, there were quite a number of realms in between the nascent soul realm and the immortal realm!

And as a cultivator’s cultivation realm gets higher and higher, in order for the cultivator to level up their cultivation levels and break through to the next realm, it wasn’t just a mere task of accumulating spiritual energy and filling up their energy core or whatsoever to the brim with spiritual energy, there were various other factors that a cultivator had to tick off in order to be able to level up their cultivation levels and break through to the next realm, and those various other factors ranged from things like like having their comprehension of the elemental that they cultivated brought to the next level, to things like gaining thorough understanding of how the current realm that they were in truly works.

In addition, another thing worth noting was that, it has already been 5000 years since a cultivator had been able to break through the tribulation realm and succeed in breaking into the immortal realm!

Thus, it could be seen just how extremely difficult and hard it was for one to even reach the immortal realm.

And yet, the yin and yang cores that Sebastian was rewarded with from the ancestral blessing was actually basically created by two higher-beings that were in the immortal realm!

In a normal situation during an ancestral blessing, where the cultivator was rewarded with a talent or ability that a nascent soul being possesses...

Normally, due to the fact that the spiritual energy that would be reproduced by the cultivator’s blood would most likely be enough for the cultivator to break through at least 1 level of their cultivation level, upgrade their spiritual root to the next grade if their spiritual root was a lower-quality spiritual root, and awaken the talent or ability that they had been rewarded by the ancestral blessing...

There wouldn’t be any need for the ancestral blessing to begin absorbing spiritual energy from the cultivator’s surroundings in order to fill the gap of spiritual energy that was needed to awaken the nascent soul realm talent or ability.

And the benefit of the ancestral blessing not having to absorb spiritual energy from the cultivator’s surroundings was that a huge scene wouldn’t be caused due to the fact that a huge amount of spiritual energy was being pulled from the cultivator’s surroundings.

After all, it was a known fact that the spiritual energy that was filled throughout the cultivation world’s air and earth was not only much harder to refine compared to the spiritual energy that was within an energy stone, but also that it was extremely hard to either absorb or move it around.

Only when a cultivator had finally broken through and arrived at the realm of deity transformation realm, then would a cultivator be able to either absorb or move the spiritual energy that was filled throughout the cultivation world’s air and earth.

However, because there were various downsides to absorbing the spiritual energy that was filled throughout the cultivation world’s air and earth, pretty much all of the cultivators who were in the deity transformation realm and above wouldn’t be dumb enough to absorb the spiritual energy that was filled throughout the cultivation world’s air and earth in order to strengthen their cultivation.

Thus, even within the Middle Continent, that was also known as the Holy Continent, there were rarely occasions where a cultivator that was in the deity transformation realm and above would bother doing anything with the spiritual energy that was filled throughout the cultivation world’s air and earth.

So, if that was the case for the Middle Continent, for a place such as the North Continent, where the highest realm cultivators were pretty much the golden core realm cultivators...

What would the cultivators within the North Continent think to themselves if they were to see that the spiritual energy within the air and earth was being dragged toward a certain location, and furthermore, a spiritual energy vortex was formed due to the large amount of spiritual energy that was being dragged toward that certain location?

Naturally, the cultivators would think that either an extremely powerful treasure had appeared, or that a cultivator was currently undergoing an ancestral blessing!

If it was the former, it was without a doubt that a huge fight for the ownership of the powerful treasure was going to happen.

And if it was the latter...

When the cultivators found out that a low realm cultivator was the one who was going through the ancestral blessing, would they be so benevolent as to let the cultivator go on with their ancestral blessing and not kill off the cultivator...?

Most of the time, with the odds being 95% to 5%, the answer was definitely going to be a no, rather than a yes.
