Path to Immortality Begins With Marriage-Chapter 62: Miuna’s situation
"Wait, no! It’s even worse! It’s not even 1 lower-quality energy stone, it’s just less than 1/5 of a lower-quality energy stone that you have ended up wasting."
"So, is there even a need for you to be so shocked about wasting that single bowl of ginseng chicken soup?"
"Seriously, I don’t even know if you are trying to show off to me or not!"
"Now that you are pregnant with a child that possesses a spiritual root, once the family is able to confirm that the baby within your stomach do indeed possess a spiritual root, you are going to be rewarded with 1 middle-quality energy stone! That’s 100 worth of lower-quality energy stones!"
"Furthermore! If the quality of the spiritual root that your child possesses is higher than that of a lower-quality spiritual root, you will be rewarded with even more middle-quality spiritual stones!"
"And yet, here you are being so hang up about wasting 1/5 of a lower-energy spiritual stone."
"100 lower-quality energy stones... My god, how many sessions of talisman crafting do I have to go through to be able to earn that number of lower-quality energy stones!"
Upon speaking up to here, Miuna suddenly began scratching onto her head with her hands, causing her hair to become messed up, while at the same time, shouting out loudly to vent her frustration, "Ah!!! Why is it so hard to break through from an apprentice talisman crafter to becoming an official talisman crafter?!"
"3 years! It has been 3 years since I have been able to craft ice shard talismans with a success rate of 50%, and yet, after 3 years, I have only barely pushed my success rate to what seems like 55% to 60%..."
"The bare minimum to break through to becoming an official talisman crafter is to be able to consistently successfully craft 4 out of 6 talismans in every talisman crafting session... And yet... I’m still stuck at 3 after all these years."
"Even more, I have to be lucky in order to be able to consistently successfully craft at least 3 talismans in every talisman crafting session..."
"Sigh... maybe I’m really not cut out to becoming a talisman crafter..."
There was a reason as to why Miuna didn’t mind marrying Sebastian if Sebastian managed to successfully break through to becoming an official talisman crafter.
After all, as a talisman crafter herself, and especially as a talisman crafter who had been stuck in the apprentice level of talisman crafting for more than 5 years and had barely made any huge progress toward being able to break through to becoming an official talisman crafter...
She was completely aware as to just how hard it was for an apprentice crafter to break through to becoming an official talisman crafter.
Furthermore, unlike Sebastian who didn’t possess a huge amount of spare resources that he could use to focus all of his attention on bettering his talisman crafting skills, she possess a huge amount of resources that had been left to her from her deceased parents, which allowed her to focus all of her attention onto bettering her talisman crafting skills.
Of course, to prevent her from overspending too much of the resources, those cultivation resources were currently being safeguarded by her uncle, Uncle Dave.
Nevertheless, she still basically pretty much had an unlimited amount of talisman crafting ingredients that were available for her to use.
Furthermore, she also had access to a fixed weekly amount of cultivation pills and fruits that she could use to help to recover her soul’s fatigue, which thus enable her to do at least 6 sessions of talisman crafting every day, instead of just 3 sessions every day.
And yet, despite the difference in resources that she possessed when compared to Sebastian, she was still far from breaking through to becoming an official talisman crafter, and yet, Sebastian was already close to breaking through to becoming an official talisman crafter.
Thus, when she found out that Sebastian was already close to breaking through to becoming an official talisman crafter, despite not having access to an unlimited amount of talisman crafting ingredients that he could use to improve his talisman crafting skills, she couldn’t help but have a great amount of respect toward Sebastian and also a slight feeling of envy toward Sebastian’s talent at talisman crafting.
...
Upon seeing that her big sister, Miuna, was feeling dejected once again, Julia wanted to try consoling her, but after opening her mouth multiple times... In the end nothing came out from her mouth as she didn’t know what to say in order to console her big sister.
In truth, in the past 2 years, and especially this past year, Julia had constantly seen Miuna being dejected about her progression regarding her talisman crafting, and there were even a few occasions that she had saw Miuna crying out loudly while drinking alcohol, evidently to be venting her frustration about not being able to make any huge progression toward breaking through to becoming an official talisman crafter.
However, shortly after, seemingly to realize a way to console Miuna, while at the same time make Miuna look even more forward to marrying Sebastian, Julia said to Miuna, "Miuna, don’t worry! I’m sure that it won’t take too long for you to break through to becoming an official talisman crafter!"
"Look, once you marry Sebastian, not only will you be able to level up your cultivation level without having the need to put you attention away from crafting talismans, but you will also soon be able to have an official tier 1 talisman crafter available to you 24/7!"
"After all, I’m sure it won’t take Sebastian too long to break through to becoming an official talisman crafter!"
"And when he finally breaks through to becoming an official talisman crafter, it means that you will have a tier 1 talisman crafter to guide you and help you better your talisman crafting skills!"
"Furthermore, since this tier 1 talisman crafter is your husband..."
