Peak Cultivator's Slice of Life-Chapter 25: Yi Mingxue’s Great Universe Part 2
This is a common sight for a Great Universe that is already almost destroyed. It will swell while the space inside becomes much wider.
Normally, it would take a very long time before the Great Universe experienced an apocalypse, but it could be quicker when the creatures within it did a lot of damage.
Yi Mingxue was warlike due to her ambition for territory, but from the very beginning, the Great Universe was already full of warfare. She was just one of the players who happened to arrive a little late despite eventually becoming a figure that made everyone calm down. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
He stepped into that Great Universe whose walls he easily passed through because of how weak it was.
However, the pressure was still very strong. His strength was instantly suppressed to Paragon level.
He appeared in a vast space full of countless universes. They shone and gathered to form huge galaxies.
The number of universe galaxies was countless, some hidden deep within the boundaries of the Great Universe.
What made Asher smile wryly even more was that he didn’t even find a single continent in this Great Universe, only a few small landmasses that seemed to be fragments of a continent. They were so much smaller than the universes there that they were not worthy of being inhabited by experts.
Most people also only make the cities floating in infinite space their homes.
At the starting point of a Great Universe, there should be a large continent at its center. Here, it seemed to have been destroyed long ago.
Shua! Shua! Shua!
Yi Mingxue appeared not long after, looking the same as she had in the Sacred Silk Realm.
She apparently wasn’t alone as she was followed by a young man and woman who hadn’t even become Paragons yet yet each had an outstanding appearance.
The two of them looked at him curiously.
"Ohhh..." He was a little surprised when he saw them as he could instantly see their past.
The two of them were a couple who struggled together from a small world of a universe to being able to reach the top and venture outside the universe.
Perhaps it was because of their complicated and challenging journey that they were separated many times, so their love for each other was great.
What was interesting was that they were actually Yi Mingxue’s disciples.
"Master..." Yi Mingxue greeted Asher, followed by the young man and woman.
They called him grandmaster.
He don’t know why that woman brought her disciples to greet him.
Of course, there was no way she had excessive expectations. Perhaps she simply wanted to show them that there was an existence so much more mysterious and mighty that even she had to submit.
"So, where is that dimension?" asked Asher to Yi Mingxue.
The latter split her body into two and one of the bodies said, "please follow me, teacher!"
Asher nodded and immediately followed her, leaving Yi Mingxue’s body carrying her disciples.
She seemed to be merely showing them her teacher.
"I didn’t expect you to accept disciples," Asher said to her when they were far enough away.
Yi Mingxue smiled at that. He replied, "I wasn’t interested in accepting disciples at first, but ever since I realized my Dao was getting harder and progression would take a very long time, I finally realized I might need to teach once in a while when I’m relaxing. It gives me a feeling of happiness sometimes, especially when I see the people I teach making progress. Currently, I founded a sect, accepted over a hundred unofficial disciples and those two people are my two official disciples."
"That’s not a bad thing. It’s true, for those of us who already find it hard to progress, seeing our disciples progress will give a sensation of pleasure," Asher said, agreeing with Yi Mingxue’s opinion, which made the woman somewhat embarrassed.
Perhaps now she realized that her every advance always made her teacher happy.
"But to be honest, this Great Universe is too broken. It’s not far from the great apocalypse and basically only you can continue living," Asher added.
"Master, how long will it be before my Great Universe comes to an end?" Yi Mingxue was clearly worried about that so she asked her master.
"100 Trillion Years as long as there are no disturbances, but if there is a relentless Great Paragon battle, it will be faster. Although you yourself are not 100 Trillion Years old yet, believe me it will seem short with your current cultivation." Asher replied.
Yi Mingxue was naturally aware of how short that time was for her because the instant when she cultivated, sometimes hundreds of billions of years of time had already passed.
Thinking about her about to start a new era on her own, she looked worried.
"I was able to teleport to another nearby Great Universe even before I reached the 3rd Stage by relying on the teleportation technique I learned in the Sacred Silk Realm. However, somehow I always fail to bring people or just objects," she said.
"If you want to carry people, you need the True Teleportation Technique and only a few Daos have it. One of them is the Dao of Space. However, it cannot be used to transport people to other Great Universes unless your Dao of Space is perfect, reaching the 3rd Stage Great Paragon," Asher replied.
Ordinary Teleportation techniques are already very rare. Most people didn’t come into contact with the technique even though their Dao was very compatible with it so they would always be trapped in their own Great Universe like Asher in the past.
The True Teleportation Technique was worth far above ordinary techniques and the requirements to use it were also very high.
However, with it, one could take their family to another Great Universe to avoid the great apocalypse.
Of course, after the great apocalypse, the people who were taken away to avoid it would be suppressed when they returned as they would no longer be considered residents of their Great Universe in the new era. Only those 3rd Stage Great Paragons who can continue to live will be considered residents.
