Phoenix Revenge System-Chapter 95: PRS
As the sky turned orange and the sun was about to set, Isabella, nestled in Morgan’s arms, blinked slowly when she heard a knock on the door.
"Hmm... what was that sound?" she murmured, her voice still hoarse from just waking up.
It turned out she had fallen asleep with her husband while they were having a casual conversation after lunch.
"So I fell asleep. What time is it?" she thought, blinking several times.
Morgan, desperately trying to contain his desire to be near his wife, whose scented and alluring body was so strong, could only hug her tightly and try to close his eyes when he saw that Isabella had fallen asleep.
"Oh my God, why is my wife so tempting?" he muttered to himself as he controlled his erratic breathing.
Due to Alesio’s madness last night, Isabella, who had woken up at 2 a.m., couldn’t fall back asleep. As soon as Morgan embraced her warmly, she fell asleep without realizing it.
"It feels so good to be in his arms. I feel so safe," she whispered in her sleep with a small smile.
Knock, knock, knock...
"Excuse me, ma’am. The makeup team has arrived," a voice said politely from outside the door.
Hearing another knock, Isabella, fully awake, slowly lifted Morgan’s strong hand from her waist.
"I have to be careful not to wake him," she thought as she gently moved her husband’s hand away.
She didn’t want to disturb her husband, who might be tired or sleep-deprived, like herself last night, so Isabella took the initiative to let Morgan sleep a little longer.
"He must be exhausted from all these wedding preparations. Let him rest a while," she murmured, gazing lovingly at Morgan’s sleeping face.
They were both fully clothed, so Isabella could easily open the bedroom door without having to change.
As soon as she opened the door, Isabella could see the soft-boned figure of the man who would be doing her makeup in a moment.
"Oh, Sis Jen! Sorry to keep you waiting," Isabella said with a friendly smile.
"It’s okay, ma’am. I can wait," Jen replied with a sweet smile.
"I’ll take a shower first, sis. My makeup is in the next room," Isabella said, indicating the room she would be using for her makeup.
"Okay, ma’am, then I’ll go first, but don’t stay too long. We’ll continue playing later tonight so we can have some fun," she replied with a mischievous glance, causing Isabella to chuckle softly at the gentle, womanly man’s teasing.
"Sis Jen, you’re so mischievous!" Isabella protested with a chuckle.
"Hehehe, you’re newlyweds. It’s natural to want to be affectionate with your husband," Jen teased again, waving her hand.
Isabella waved a hand for the womanly man named Jen to leave.
"Yes, yes, go quickly. I’ll be right back," Isabella said, closing the door gently.
Isabella closed the bedroom door quietly so as not to disturb Morgan’s sleep and quickly went into the bathroom to clean herself.
"We have to hurry. It’s almost afternoon," she muttered as she turned on the shower.
After her shower, she put on a white bathrobe and walked to the bed where her husband was still fast asleep.
"He’s sleeping so soundly. His face is so cute when he sleeps," she whispered with an amused smile.
"Elio, wake up. The MUA team is here," Isabella said, gently patting Morgan’s right cheek.
"Elio... wake up, honey..." she called again, her voice louder.
"Hmmm..." Morgan Elio replied, his eyes still closed. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
"He’s so hard to wake up," Isabella grumbled, patting her husband’s cheek again.
Suddenly, Morgan Elio pulled Isabella’s body and buried his head in his wife’s neck. "Smells good..." she murmured softly.
"Morgan Elio Cromson! What are you doing?!" Isabella said, her face flushed.
"The smell of vanilla... so good..." Morgan Elio murmured, inhaling the scent of his wife’s neck.
"Elio, let’s go take a shower. The MUA team is waiting in the next room," Isabella tried again to persuade her husband to get ready.
"No way. I want to hold you all the time," he replied, tightening his embrace.
"Call me honey, then I’ll wake up," he said sulkily, his eyes still closed.
"Ehhh!" Isabella was shocked to hear Morgan Elio pout. His cute voice was completely out of place with his fierce demeanor.
"Gosh, why is he acting like a child?" she thought, holding back laughter.
"Come on, call me honey first," he said again, prompting Isabella, unable to resist her husband’s cute face, to quickly grant his wish.
"You’re just like a child," Isabella said, gently pinching Morgan’s nose.
"Yes, honey, let’s get up and get ready," she replied coquettishly, stroking Morgan’s hair.
"Then, I’m up now," Morgan said with a satisfied smile.
Morgan’s eyes immediately shot open at the affectionate and spoiled tone his wife gave him.
"You called me darling! In such a spoiled tone!" he said, his eyes sparkling like a child who had just received a gift.
Cup!
After giving her a light kiss on the lips, Morgan got up from the bed and dashed into the bathroom to calm his little brother, who had already woken up.
"Damn! Why does he have to be so spoiled! Ouch!" Morgan grumbled as he quickly made his way to the bathroom.
Isabella, watching Morgan’s antics, couldn’t help but chuckle and shake her head, seeing her husband’s ridiculous behavior unlike anything she had ever seen before.
"So the notoriously cold and intimidating King Cromson can throw a tantrum like a child," she muttered with an amused smile.
It’s true what they say: after marriage, you get to see your partner’s true face like never before, and Isabella has proven that twice in her two marriages.
"But this time is different. It’s much more fun," she thought with a happy smile.
Not wanting to waste any time, Isabella hurried out of her room and headed to the adjoining room to get her makeup done so she would look stunning that night.
"Sis Jen, sorry for taking so long. My husband was hard to wake up," Isabella said as she entered the adjoining room.
"It’s okay, Madam. Let’s get started. I’ll make you look absolutely stunning tonight," Jen replied as she prepared her makeup.

As the night wore on, the number of invited guests grew. The mansion hall and backyard, transformed into a beautiful reception venue, were already filled with guests.
"Wow, the decorations are amazing! It truly looks like heaven," one guest marveled, gazing at the decorations hanging from the ceiling.
"Yes, the Cromsons and Alegra are no joke. This is the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended," another guest said, her eyes sparkling.
"Look at the lighting! It’s like twinkling stars. So romantic!" added a third guest, snapping photos.
The waiters were also busy rushing back and forth, refilling the empty food so the banquet tables wouldn’t look empty.
"Quickly refill the dishes at table number three!" ordered the waiter coordinator.
"Okay, right away!" replied the waiter, running off with a tray full of food.
"Make sure every table has drinks filled. Don’t let anyone go thirsty," added the coordinator firmly.
On a wedding stage transformed into a cloud-like setting, Isabella sat in a luxurious silver gown adorned with lace and red ribbons, making her look absolutely perfect tonight.
"Look! The bride is sitting on the stage!" exclaimed one guest enthusiastically.
"She’s beautiful! She looks like an angel descended from the heavens!" praised the other guests, clapping their hands.
Her beautiful face captivated many pairs of eyes. She matched perfectly with the incredibly handsome King Cromson, as if they were a god and goddess from heaven, their beauty and handsomeness capable of driving anyone insane and momentarily losing their minds.
"They’re so perfectly matched. Like God made them for each other," whispered one female guest to her husband.
"Yes, a perfect match. May they be happy forever," replied her husband, nodding in agreement.
The wedding ceremony of these two conglomerate families was extravagant. The theme of life in the heavens made the guests feel as if they had truly left the earth where they stood and ascended to the heavens where the gods and goddesses, according to myth, reside.
"The concept is truly unique! I feel like I’m in another world," remarked one businessman to his colleague.
"Only the Cromson and Alegra families could pull off an event of this magnitude," his colleague replied in admiration.
The guests congratulated the bride and groom one by one, before enjoying the festive meal and chatting with the other guests.
"Congratulations on your wedding. May it last forever," said one guest, shaking hands with Morgan and Isabella.
"Thank you so much for your kind words and for your presence," Isabella replied with a sweet smile.
"We’re so glad you could come," Morgan added, nodding politely.
With so many important guests in attendance tonight, everyone took the opportunity to build relationships.
"Mr. Ken, it’s been a while since we last met. How’s business going in Singapore?" asked one of the businessmen, shaking his hand.
"Oh, Mr. Li! Nice to meet you. Business is going well. How’s your expansion into Japan going?" replied Mr. Ken enthusiastically.
"It went well. Maybe we can work together on the next project," Mr. Lu suggested with a smile.
Tonight, businesspeople from both the upper and lower classes mingled, seeking allies and expanding their connections so their businesses could grow even faster and thrive.
"Tonight is a golden opportunity for networking. Don’t waste it," whispered one of the young entrepreneurs to his assistant.
"Yes, Boss. I’ve made a list of people we should approach," the assistant replied, showing a tablet.
It wasn’t just local and international celebrities who attended; Isabella’s employees, spread across several countries, also attended, having been accommodated by the young woman.
"Thank you for coming all the way from my country," Isabella said to several of her employees.
"It’s okay, ma’am. We’re very happy to be here on your big day," replied one employee sincerely.
"You’re a good boss. Of course, we want to celebrate your happiness," added another employee with a smile.
She wanted everyone who had contributed to her career and her rise from adversity to be present on this happy day, especially Siva and Jery, the two people she considered most instrumental in developing her business in country I and who had followed her since her early days in the country.
"Siva, Jery! I’m so glad you could come," Isabella said, her eyes welling with tears upon seeing her two confidants.
"Of course we came, Boss. You’re like family to us," Siva replied, hugging Isabella.
"Congratulations, Boss. May you always be happy," Jery added with a sincere smile.
Everyone seemed happy and offered their sincere congratulations, hoping the beautiful girl would truly find happiness.
Alekso, who had come with Siva as a soon-to-be-married couple, looked anxiously, searching for the figure who had reportedly left for country S.
"Why do you keep looking at the entrance? Is there something you’re looking for?" Siva asked, eyeing her fiancé.
"No... nothing," Alekso replied nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Come on, your boss is an adult. He can definitely take care of himself," Siva said, rubbing her fiancé’s shoulder to calm his nerves.
"I know, but I’m still worried," Alekso replied anxiously.
If it were before, perhaps Alekso would have agreed with Siva. But, seeing Alesio’s changes over the past few months, he couldn’t rest assured.
"There’s something strange about Alesio lately. He’s changed," Alekso muttered, frowning.
"Changed how?" Siva asked curiously.
"I don’t know... his aura is different. It’s like something’s clouding his mind," Alekso replied worriedly.
Alekso always had a feeling that his boss and best friend was planning something bad. He feared that Alesio would become so blinded by his actions that would harm himself.
"I have a bad feeling, Siva. Very bad," Alekso said, holding his fiancée’s hand.
"Don’t overthink it, honey. Maybe you’re just worrying too much," Siva comforted, even though she herself was starting to feel uneasy.
Alekso’s feelings weren’t wrong; in fact, Alesio had indeed gone astray, completely lost his sense of reason and conscience.
"Don’t worry, Alesio isn’t stupid enough to ruin this important event in someone else’s territory," Siva reassured her.
"I hope you’re right," Alekso replied with a deep sigh.
If this were country I, perhaps Alesio’s presence would wield significant influence, allowing whatever he did to be tolerated.
"In country I, he still has a name and influence. But this is country S," Alekso muttered anxiously.
But this is country S, and Alesio’s presence is meaningless here. If they offend the two great families holding the event, it’s possible he’ll simply vanish into the darkness of the night without anyone noticing.
"You know how powerful the Cromson and Alegra families are. They can destroy anyone who dares to disturb them," Siva whispered seriously.
"That’s why I’m worried. Alesio could be in great danger," Alekso replied, looking toward the wedding stage with a worried expression.
"I hope nothing happens," Siva said, holding Alekso’s hand in support.
